 Today is Steph's 28th Birthday. Around midnight, Justine ran up to Steph to wish her a happy birthday, but ended up head butting her as well (Ouch!).
 The housemates were up at 4am baking a cake for her. Throughout the day, Gos & Anouska have been trying to finish off the cake without Steph knowing about it, but she was back and for into the house all the time to get various things. So, the other girls told her they were going to treat her like the queen and get anything she wanted for her. Around 12:45pm, shortly after the task had ended, the housemates sang Happy Birthday to Steph and presented her with her cake and presents from them.
 At approx 1:00pm today, the housemates learned that they had upheld the rule that all changeovers must not last more than 20 seconds and must pedal at a rate of at least 60rpm.
However, on 1 occasion, the rule that states there must be at least 2 persons in the pedalo was broken. This was done by Federico at approx 7pm (day 4 26/05/2003). Federico got out of the pedalo for 4 seconds to get some chewing gum.
This means that the housemates get 75p per person per day for the next week.
 Federico apologised to the housemates for being so stupid and even offered to live on bread & water for the next week!!
The rest of the group kindly refused his offer and said that they would manage.  The housemates have refused to blame Federico because they made the rule that at all times, there must be 3 people present at the pedalo, but at the time of the incident, there were only 2, so they are not blaming anyone apart from themselves.

Big Brother brought in a surprise for the housemates when they had to make 1 nomination for one of their fellow housemates to be evicted from the house. Whoever had 1 or more nominations automatically face the public vote. 
Today the group made their first ever shopping list for £124.50 (£1.50 per person per day). This was a very agonising task as Sissy had problems keeping control of the group.
Nush done her ritual activity of YOGA this morning, which she does daily in the outside world with Tonia in tow.
The group were given their first ever task this morning. It consists of 2 people pedaling a pedalo for 72 hours with only 20 seconds to change over.
The group will find out if they have passed or failed on Wednesday. If they pass they will receive £173.25 for the week. If they fail, they will receive a mere £57.75
Cameron and Anouska bathed together this morning. Cameron could not stop himself from watching Anouska in the shower although he tried as best he could.
Nush tried to style Cameron's hair, which he claimed it looked like "an older Gareth Gates"
Justine has admitted that she has had a nose job and she described how it was done. Cameron turned green, but Steph was fascinated!! So, Justine carried on explaining what was done and how her nose was broken in three places and the plates removed through her nostrils!
The group have made an excellent start on the task and have not made any mistakes as yet...
Tomorrow is Steph's birthday and the housemates are running low on flour, so the housemates decided to ask Big Brother for some supplies to make Steph a birthday cake. Big Brother told them that all supplies were to be bought out of the shopping budget, but because this is for a special occasion, they will provide adequate supplies for a birthday cake.
Last night was Steph's 28th birthday party and the housemates were rather the worse for wear this morning. Steph was the first person up at around 9:10. Gos rose at 9:19 to have a shower and when promptly back to bed. The last person to get up today was Federico at 12:59!! This man could sleep for England!
