Housemates are now in @ 30 May 2007 10:54 PM

Rumours of a female-filled house have been proven correct this evening as eleven women moved into the new Big Brother house.

Among the group of housemates, each hoping to spend the next thirteen weeks in their new surroundings, was the first pair of twins in the show's history - 18-year-old students Sam and Amanda. First to enter the house, they greeted their abode with a chorus of whooping and shrieks of "oh my God".

On the heels of the house's youngest residents was grandmother Lesley, 60, the oldest woman in the competition. She offered a more restrained reaction to the experience. Second oldest contestant Carole, meanwhile, entered the house with promises of "shaking things up".

Most entrants received a positive reaction from the crowd, though unemployed Charley managed to garner chants of "get her out" within seconds of stepping out of the car.

Several entrances and squealing introductions later, the eleven housemates began to get to know their new companions, musing over the lack of men.

Completing this year's line up are raving cleaner Tracey, students Emily (who apparently looks like Peaches Geldof) and Wakefielder Chanelle, receptionist Shabnam, banker Nicky, and Welsh nanny and graveyard enthusiast Laura.
