Nothing goes unnoticed by Big Brother. Contraband biscuits, bedtime activities, microphone breaking. And Amanda's earlier mic wrecking received a suitable punishment from Big Brother.

"This is my punishment," said Amanda, sitting in the Diary Room chair and picking up the megaphone suspiciously.

"As punishment for breaking your microphone Big Brother is giving you this loud-hailer to speak through until further notice," explained Big Brother.

"OK," replied Amanda, remembering to speak through the hailer as Big Brother gave her instructions.

"I love it, thank you," she said, before realising you're not meant to love a punishment. "I mean, I hate it. It's the worst punishment ever. I'm so sorry about the microphone. I feel dead guilty."

"Miss Amanda this is a serious punishment," reiterated Big Brother sternly.

"I know, it's so bad," she replied through the megaphone. But Big Brohter wasn't satisfied.

"Big Brother can't hear you, Miss Amanda," said Big Brother.

"I'm really upset and I'm so sorry," she said, even louder, but still grinning.

So much for a quiet night in.
