Housemates and Halfway housemates have just heard a dramatic announcement about this week's public vote.

"This week, there will be two more opportunities for Halfway Housemates to win full Housemate status," Big Bro announced, "and move into the main Big Brother House."

"In two days time," Big Bro continued, "everyone living in the the Halfway House will face the public vote. Nobody's position is safe."

As the Halfway Housemates discussed the technicalities of exactly what the message actually meant, the full timers were also debating exactly what it meant too.

But Liam didn't let the announcement interrupt his bowl of cereal.

"I don't get it," complained Amanda. "So what's happening?"

"Some of us who are here will end up going next door," Carole explained, referring to the Halfway House, "and on Thursday whoever's next door will face the public vote. Two people will come in here."

This was important information for Liam, who decided it was time to put down his spoon down and give the matter his full attention.

"Oh right, I see," Liam added. "So today or tomorrow, a couple of us will go in there, a couple of them will come in here and everybody who's in there on Friday is up for nomination."

"Thursday," corrected Carole.

"And then leave Friday," asked Liam, "or do they leave Thursday?"

"Whoever's in there goes up for the vote on Thursday to leave Friday," confirmed Carole.

Liam picked up his spoon and continued eating.

Reactions in the Halfway House were remarkably very similar.

"Does that mean that in two days time that the vote will be announced," Amy asked Ziggy, "or that we won't go up for another two days."

"I haven't a clue," Ziggy told her. "I'm as nervous as you are about this, I promise you."

Be afraid guys, be very afraid...
