New boys Brian, Jonathan, Liam and Billi have yet to experience the fulcrum of communication upon which the House revolves - meetings. So tonight, less than 24 hours inside the House, the housemates gathered on the sofas for one of their fascinating, disorganised pow-wows.

And on tonight's agenda was a subject close to everyone's hearts - and stomachs - food.

"One at a time, that's the rule of the meeting, " said Tracey, acting as chair. "The meeting is about the food situation, as the boys have said they will help us when they get theirs. Which is phat."

"Thank you for helping us out with the food," said Nicky. "Jonathan likes to cook, and we were thinking we'd take it in turns, in pairs, to cook."

The housemates nodded. Blimey - an agreement.

"We'll do as much cooking as anyone wants us to do," said Jonathan, possibly fearing for his stomach. As well he might.

"Are we sitting down for a meal tonight?" asked Liam, presumably over the rumbles of his tummy.

"What's happening with the food that's around the House and hidden under beds?" asked Jonathan, who hadn't taken long to realise the housemates had been living like students.

"I'm happy to get my food out. All I have is a can of beans. We can all have a bean each?" Wonder if they'll individually initial them.

"Does anyone have any dietary requirements?" asked Seany.

"I don't like yoghurts," said Brian.

"Tonight's all gravy," said Tracey.

Wonder if that's all that'll be on the menu?
