Hair straighteners sparked a huge row between Emily and Chanelle as the housemates adjusted to life without a bathroom.

"There was no need to be so defensive about the straighteners," accused Chanelle. "It took me two seconds. All I wanted to do was use it on this side of my hair and this side of my hair, so why was it like that?"

"It's irrelevant how much hair you've got," countered Emily. "I was just making a point. If you start giving people priority over luxuries in this house, they'll start expecting it of other things."

"It's a simple two-second thing," retorted Chanelle. "You can have your hair down in natural curls. You can have it up in a bobble, when I can't. It is a personal preference for you Emily. For me there is no preference."

"What's the point arguing about this?" asked a bewildered Ziggy.

"The point is you just acted like a complete spoiled kid when all I wanted to do was use the straighteners."

Such was Chanelle's anger that she failed to spot a smiling Shabnam give Charley a high-five just before she stormed out of the bedroom.

"I can't believe we had an argument about hair straighteners," said voice-of-reason Laura as Emily burst into tears.

Will the girls be able to iron out their differences?
