New Task
|
Housemates have gathered at the dining table to hear the details of this week's task. Big Brother wants them to make like a bunch of Billy Elliots and learn the art of ballet for a performance of Romeo and Juliet tomorrow.
And what better material for this rowdy lot than the tale of two star crossed lovers played out against a backdrop of warring factions in a world gone mad. Just your typical day in the Big Brother House! Sort of anyway.
Housemates will receive a luxury shopping budget for next week if they successfully pass the ballet task. The wannabe ballerinas will have until tomorrow's curtain up to organise and rehearse the final performance, which must take place in the garden.
Housemates must decide amongst themselves who will play Romeo and Juliet and the various supporting roles from the play, including the narrator.
Each scene must include at least all of the following ballet moves: plie, arabesque, grand jete, pirouette, releve and so on.
If any of the above instructions are not followed, Housemates will incur one fail. If the group incur four or more fails, Housemates will forfeit the luxury shopping budget for next week.
Certain conceptual problems threatened to doom the production from the start. "There's no talking?" Maxwell asked, amazed.
"No it's all dance," Kemal told him.
That should be interesting, to say the least.
