Eugene's First Day
Eugene came to the Diary Room tonight to tell Big Brother all about his first day in the House, and though he is mostly lovin' it, he's a bit worried about Maxwell.

Eugene's willing to put a positive spin on anything, even a slightly small evening meal. "It wasn't a massive meal, but I don't want to put on weight," he said, patting his tummy with a smile.

When quizzed about today's nomination announcement, Eugene said he felt sorry for Maxwell and Saskia.

"I don't think they wanted to go at this stage," he said, "I get the impression that they are getting on very well, though other people have said they are fake."

"There has been bitchiness about Saskia from Makosi," he admitted. "But she seems genuine."

Big Brother asked who Eugene thought would go on Friday. The newbie Housemate found it hard to answer, but thinks that Saskia could be less popular with the public.

"She might be seen as a distraction to Maxwell," he suggested.

But in his heart Eugene would prefer fellow engineer Maxwell to go. "He can be a wind up," Eugene commented, fearing that he would soon be at the brunt of one of Maxwell's practical jokes.

It's probably a fear that's well grounded, knowing our Maxwell.
