Big Brother News Archive:

Task Failure!!
Housemates endured a nasty task that resulted in Captain Science reading a message from a bottle: You've failed.

Housemates transferred filthy, smelly, bilge water - or blige water, as Science called it - in leaking buckets into an empty barrel as part of their Pirate task.

Captain Science barked orders at the crew as Makosi and Craig headed the human chain to fill up the barrel. Makosi was squealing as she got drenched by the fishy water and Craig kept complaining, "I've got my pyjamas on under this."

When the barrel was sufficiently full, Science removed the floating bottle and read the message to the celebrating Pirates. He told them they had incurred an astonishing 28 fails when they were only allowed two a day.

Fails included not wearing hats, communication with the outside world and leaving the crow's nest unattended. Incidentally, two fails were incurred by Captain Science.

"Pat yourselves on the back," Science told them as the news sunk in that they would have to survive on minimal food rations.

"That is the smelliest thing I've ever done," said Maxwell.

"They've ruined my shoes," hissed Derek.

The Pirate task is now over and the seaman are well and truly sunk.
