Big Brother News Archive:

Has the joke gone too far?
Lesley is still completely unrepentant about hiding Sam's makeup case. But certain Housemates think the Northern lass may have taken things a bit too far.

Last night Lesley hid Sam's makeup bag, not realising that this small act of revenge would have Sam in tears. Frankly, Lesley thinks Sam deserves everything she gets, but not everyone agrees.

"She said something personal about me," Lesley told the gathered Housemates, "All I did was hide her makeup bag."

But other Housemates reprimanded Lesley for letting the joke go too far. "She was in pieces, we had to look after her," Maxwell told Lesley the result of her actions. "She was really f****** bad," he said sternly.

"She should learn not to say s*** about me then," Lesley replied.

Saskia sticks up for SamSaskia thinks that Craig is equally to blame. "Why didn't you have a quick word with Lesley and say the joke's gone a bit far?" she asked him. "If I said anything I'd be betraying Lesley," he protested.

But Saskia stood firm. "You've cried before," she said to Craig, "and you know it's s***."

Makosi thinks there is a much simpler explanation for Sam's mood. "The weather is bringing her down, it's meant she has to put some clothes on," she quipped.

Well, you know what they say - every cloud has a sliver lining, Sam.
