Day 57: (22/07/2005 - Friday)

Science is the eighth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house Orlaith has mixed feelings after being saved from eviction?but admits she always knew she was staying Day 57 ? Friday 22 July 2005 9.49am Big Brother has been playing the alarm into the house for 2 minutes. Tonight either Science or Orlaith will be the eighth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house. The song ?Please Don?t Go? wakes up housemates. Craig sits in bed, miming dramatically. His performance is aimed at Anthony who?s highly amused. Derek is tidying the living room, ?it?s like tidying up after bloody kids?it?s like a nursery,? he says. 11.20am Orlaith and Makosi are in the seating area. Kemal, Craig and Anthony are in the bedroom. Eugene and Derek are in the pool. Orlaith says, ?there?s no need to pack because she knows she?s staying. ? Eugene and Derek are in the pool. Derek asks, ?where does it lead? When am I leaving?? Eugene tells him there are few days left and they?ll soon be in single figures. He predicts Derek, Kemal, Anthony and Craig will be the last four and Anthony could win. Derek says that Anthony is very placid and he likes people to have views. He talks about Kemal, ?he has views and beliefs, he was brave to come here?he?s remarkable.? 11.45am Craig, Derek and Eugene are in the garden. Some of the housemates are in the kitchen. Craig tells Derek that he and Anthony sorted out their differences and Anthony apologised. Anthony wants to make himself some toast but Makosi says he has to wait half an hour for the toaster. Anthony says he?ll prove he?s an alpha male by going next. Orlaith says, ?it?s first come first serve.? Anthony asks her to save some butter as she scrapes the tub. He says, ?don?t be like that, don?t take the piss, I wouldn?t do that.? Orlaith says she wants her breakfast in peace and she?ll use the butter she needs. Anthony calls her ?a twisted git.? Orlaith mutters, ?let me out of this f**king hell hole.? 11.53am Some of the housemates are in the pool. Makosi is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. Science scrapes the butter tub. Craig sings in the pool and calls himself insane. Derek comments that everybody in Norfolk is vain. Makosi comes to the Diary Room. She says, ?Science is nervous. He feels we?ve turned against him. Orlaith is certain she?s staying. I feel like Science is my little brother. Behind the shouting is pain, he needs understanding. I sleep next to him and I know he has sleepless nights. I feel for him.? 12.41pm Kemal, Orlaith, Science and Makosi are at the seating area. Craig and Anthony have joined Derek and Eugene in the pool. Derek and Eugene have been in the pool for 2 hours and 30 minutes Derek asks how Orlaith is. Anthony says she?s ?touchy.? Derek says she can?t deal with the stress and Anthony says she stressed over butter. They discuss how much Orlaith says she wants to leave and Anthony comments that the women are ?dropping like flies.? 2.52pm Orlaith, Science and Makosi are in the loft talking about Derek. Derek and Eugene are in the seating area. Anthony is in the bedroom toilet. Kemal and Craig are in the bedroom. In the loft, Orlaith asks why people listen to Derek. Makosi says he?s very clever and uses his intelligence for the wrong reasons, especially when it comes to isolating Science. Science says he tried to get along with Derek but then he switched on him. Makosi says, ?what comes around, goes around.? In the bedroom, Craig asks Kemal what guy he?d go for in a club. Kemal answers, ?masculine, dark and fit?. But I?ve pulled a range on people.? Craig says he refuses to pull mingers and looks for a sexual bond. If somebody introduces themselves to him, he?ll ask, ?do I know you?? He says he just wants a f**k and to talk the language of sex. They discuss past ?flings? and the Craig asks Anthony how he kisses. Anthony says he likes kissing ?soft and slow.? In contrast, Craig says he likes hard and fast. Anthony says he hates that so Craig retracts his comment and adds, ?come and snog me.? 3.47pm Science is in the bedroom. Derek is in the dining area. Orlaith and Makosi are still in the loft. Craig has been massaging Anthony?s feet for the past 5 minutes. In the loft, Orlaith tells Makosi she?s frightened of Derek. Craig says he is surprised Kemal is bisexual and Anthony agrees he?s never seen a guy so camp in his life. Craig says he?d never be bisexual and Anthony asks if he?s ever attracted the opposite sex. Craig then replies, ?not at all, does nothing for me? same as you know what would do nothing for you.? 6.11pm Derek and Kemal are in the seating area and kitchen. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Big Brother has called Science to the diary room. As Science walks to the Diary Room, Derek mutters, ?ghastly.? Science enters the Diary Room and says, ?easy, I?m cool and nervous.? He tells Big Brother he?s learnt how to stop letting things get to him. He explains he took his last ?75 and came to the London auditions. He had faith in himself, although he never imagined he?d be on the diary room chair, talking to Big Brother. He believes in making dreams become reality but he needs a commodity to take himself to higher levels. He says he believes in positivity and can?t be ?boxed in.? He adds ?at the end of the day I?ve been spiritually saved for another day.? 9.24pm The housemates have been gathered on the sofas for the past hour and 15 minutes Davina announces that Science is the eighth person to leave the Big Brother house. Science says, ?ok people its time for me to go. Be confident and be free.? Anthony asks how he feels and Science replies, ?I?m a little gutted but what will be will be. Standardly.? 9.34pm It?s been 10 minutes since it was announced that Science will be evicted tonight. He is in the Diary Room talking to Big BRother. All the other housemates are in the living room Craig says Science has attacked everybody this week and the public probably turned on him, when he attacked the winner and then he adds, ?hideous evictions.? Orlaith, once again, says she knew she wasn?t leaving. Eugene says its funny that both are disappointed with the result and Orlaith says she?s happy but has to deal with it. Science says they?ve had good times, bad times and middle times. Davina tells the house, ?Science, I?m coming to get you!? Science hugs Orlaith and Makosi and says, ?in a bit, nice knowing you.? Science exits the house 11.18pm Orlaith is in the bedroom. Anthony and Craig are in the living room. Earlier this evening, Big Brother delivered 6 bottles of beer to the housemates. Orlaith unpacks her case muttering, ?f**k this.? Craig and Anthony talk about Eugene and the beers he?s taken. Anthony calls him to the living room and asks what the plan is. Eugene explains he?s making a game where anybody could win them. Anthony tells him it?s a good idea. Eugene seems disappointed they know what the prize is; he says he won?t take anymore. Craig thought he was going to feed the cactus. Eugene finds this hysterical. 11.25pm Kemal, Craig, Anthony and derek are in the living room. Makosi is in bed. Orlaith is in the Diary Room. Kemal and Derek say they?ve never had a pint of beer before. Craig says he usually drinks 15 in one night Orlaith comes to the Diary Room and says, ?I knew I was staying. Kemal?s weird, I don?t know that guy/person. Makosi?s here for me to talk to but she?s friends with Kemal and I can?t stick another week of it. Derek frightens me and I don?t know how he feels that I stayed, maybe he sees me as a threat. I?m not a strong character and I can?t be with Derek and Kemal. I can?t stand that man.? 12.43pm Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Craig tells Anthony that he thinks Eugene ?pervs? on him and insists Anthony pays attention. Craig talks about his dream where Eugene won and Anthony came second. They both agree Eugene and Orlaith won?t win. Craig says it wasn?t nice to see Science leave when Orlaith was going on about staying. Craig feels that he might be next and Anthony tells him he could win. Craig says the 3 gays could be in the final. Anthony says that would be funny. 3.14am Anthony drags Craig around the garden by his feet. Craig kicks and screams and accidentally kicks Anthony in the eye. Anthony walks away covering his face and Craig runs after him saying, ?are you ok? F**k Anthony! Oh my god!? Anthony makes Craig take his microphone off and throws him in the pool. Anthony walks into the house saying he?s in agony. Craig yells, ?don?t leave me! Don?t leave me!?

Day 58: (23/07/2005 - Saturday)

Orlaith resolves to be strong and stay in the house The housemates are rewarded with a party Craig reveals his true feelings to Anthony Day 58 ? Saturday 23 July 2005 9.58am Makosi is the only housemate who is already awake. Last night Science became the eighth housemate to be evicted. Today the housemates awake to some of Science's most heard phrases as a wake-up call. The loop went, "Citizen Science, man, that's who I am. Power to the people. Standard, man. I do what I want. Do you think I'm bothered? Science can't be contained. Never. Get me." Kemal moans, "I've had enough of that voice." Derek is unimpressed with Big Brother's sense of humour and immediately gets up. "That's enough to get anyone up. Uhh, I can't bear it. Dreadful." 10.22am Craig, Kemal, Anthony and Orlaith are in the bedroom. ?What happens if you walk?? asks Orlaith. ?Wait a few days and see how things go.? Says Anthony. Meanwhile, Eugene is alone in the pool. Kemal joins Derek in the seating area. ?Anthony and Craig are convincing her (Orlaith) not to walk. I can?t do with that attention seeking.? Kemal says as he rolls his eyes. ?I don?t think she?s a very nice person really.? Derek continues. ?The most interesting thing that happened last night was that Orlaith was insensitive enough to say she knew she was gonna stay, even while Science was still here. That was tacky in the extreme. She?s awful!? ?She is, I can?t stand her.? Agrees Kemal. 11.35am Eugene and Anthony are in the garden singing; ?Do you really like it, is it is it wicked.? Derek and Kemal are chanting and meditating by the front door. Orlaith talks to Craig; ?What would you do in my position?? ?I don?t know. Do you hate it in here? Can you hack it?? he asks her. Orlaith cries; ?No and I don?t know what to do.? Craig hugs her. ?I feel like I wanna leave. I?m homesick. There are two people in here and I just don?t know what they?re thinking and devising. I can?t do it.? She sobs. Makosi joins them and tells Orlaith; ?Yes you can! Sit in the living room and act like nothing is happening, You cannot afford to let anyone see you crying.? 12.24pm The housemates are given details of today?s task. The Diary Room has been transformed into a house of horrors to test each housemate?s tolerance of fear. Eugene is the first to go to the Diary Room. Big Brother tells him to clip the heart monitor to his index finger and put the electro hat firmly on his head. Meatloaf?s ?Bat Out Of Hell? is played into the Diary Room. ?That?s pretty terrifying that song ? I?m not a fan of that artist. Once I had to do it on karaoke, it brings back bad memories.? Says Eugene. Makosi and Kemal then take part in the task and both scream and cry. 3.11pm Anthony and Eugene are playing a game in the garden. Craig and Derek chat alone in the Living Room. ?Winning for me would mean finally people would?ve accepted me for who I really am.? Says Craig. Orlaith is in the Diary Room. ?I?m feeling a bit better. I was quite upset earlier, but I just have to deal with it. The two I don?t want to be around as much are Derek and Kemal. Because I survived yesterday?s eviction I can see Derek is planning something. It?s weird. But I?m not leaving until I?m evicted, I?ll have to stay strong until then.? 6.17pm Anthony and Craig are in the kitchen. Craig is pretending that Anthony doesn?t exist by ignoring him. Derek joins in the game. Anthony then cracks an egg on Craig?s head; ?It couldn?t have been Anthony because Anthony isn?t here!? he laughs. Craig goes outside to shower while Anthony sprays the hosepipe at him singing ?egg on your head.? 6.25pm Makosi, Kemal and Orlaith are in the living room. Anthony and Craig are in the kitchen. Craig tries to hug Anthony, but Anthony tries to escape saying; ?No hugs, just a hand shake.? Meanwhile Derek is in the Diary Room taking part in today?s task. He jumps and screams when Big Brother tries to scare him with a plastic snake. 7.31pm Most of the housemates are in the seating area. Big Brother calls one housemate to the Diary Room. Anthony returns with a big box, the reward for passing today?s task. The housemates are to be given a special party with take-away food, alcohol and music. On hearing the news they all excitedly cheer and clap. Derek reads the menu and asks; ?What?s a Doner Kebab?? 8.40pm Anthony and Makosi go to the Diary Room to collect the take away food. 9.13pm Thirty three minutes later Anthony and Craig are still at the dining table. Craig asks Anthony if he can have his permission to keep him in line tonight so he doesn?t get drunk and do anything stupid. Craig then reveals his feelings to Anthony; ?If you were gay you know what?d be happening. Don?t be insulted by that. If you were, I?d go to bed with you. It?s a scenario that would never happen. Can I say something else?? Craig continues as Anthony sits there shaking his head. ?It?s something?not pervy, just a compliment, but you might not like it?. I wish you were!? But Anthony protests; ?Don?t say it. I don?t want to talk about it. It?s pointless. You know I?ve got no problems with what you are?..? Craig interrupts him again; ?I don?t deny I do find you physically attractive. I don?t perv on you, but occasionally if I see you in a pair of tight boxer shorts?.? Anthony is embarrassed and tries to change the subject. He focuses on opening another bottle of beer. 10.11pm The housemates are dancing along to Britney Spears? ?Hit Me Baby One More Time.? Craig is doing a Britney impersonation while Orlaith is his backing dancer. 10.44pm Anthony is alone by the pool telling himself; ?No stiffys tonight, no way. I?m keeping composure.? Meanwhile in the house Craig is talking to Derek. ?My Anthony?s a bit drunk. He?s quiet when he?s drunk and happy.? ?That?s when to make a move.? Quips Derek. Anthony joins them and Craig tells him; ?Anthony you look hot, hot, hot.? Then Craig tells Derek; ?I love the personality, the values. We?re so compatible and it?s not even fair. I will look after him as long as I?m in here.? 11.40pm Craig is following Anthony around asking for a hug when Beyonce?s ?Crazy In Love? starts playing into the house. Craig dances provocatively with Makosi and then Orlaith. ?Me and Orlaith are getting it on.? Craig shouts to the others before kissing her on the lips. Craig then asks Makosi for a kiss, but she refuses saying; ?I?m not kissing tonight.? Derek watches the dancing from the dining table. 11.50pm Craig, Anthony and Makosi go into the Diary Room. ?Anthony, sit next to me.? Craig whines before putting his arm around Anthony. Craig then tells Big Brother; ?I don?t like Anthony anymore. He won?t dance with me, he hates me. He won?t put his arm around me.? Big Brother asks Anthony if he hates Craig. ?No!? says Anthony. Craig then asks for a kiss and Anthony kisses his cheek. Makosi then asks Craig; ?Do you like Anthony?.sexually?? ?No, he?s my best mate.? Says Craig. Makosi then whispers in Anthony?s ear and Craig puts his hand on Anthony?s chest. ?Move your hand. I?m not a piece of meat. I?ve got feelings.? Says Anthony. Suddenly Craig slaps Anthony?s cheek saying ?Get a fucking grip.? He then tries to put his hand on Anthony?s chest again, but Anthony moves it away saying; ?Don?t do that shite, it gets on my tits.? Makosi giggles and says to Big Brother; ?I think I should not be here. Craig and Anthony are having a fight. Craig is trying to feel Anthony?s chest, I think Craig fancies Anthony.? She leaves the boys alone in the Diary Room. Craig is starting to get upset. ?I had my hand there as a mate, but you still need to push me away. I disgust you don?t I?? At this point Anthony storms out of the Diary Room and tells Craig to ?F**k Off!? Craig is left to cry alone in the Diary Room while Anthony sits alone in the garden. 12.25am Craig has been in the Diary Room for 36 minutes. ?I?ve got to get a grip.? He sobs. Derek joins Anthony in the garden; ?Are you alright? It?s difficult I know.? ?Craig for some reason is really upset.? Anthony tells him. ?It?s a hard friendship to have because now he?s categorically said he?d love to go out with someone like me. For some reason when he?s drunk anything I say is wrong. He?s in tears and he slapped me in the face twice. How am I meant to take that? It?s a funny situation.? ?There are two difficult issues really. Drink itself, it makes you lose control. And Craig is at that stage where he?s discovering a lot about himself. He?s in this intense environment. It?s difficult for him and it?s difficult for you.? Says Derek. ?I?ve never met anyone like him. Like I don?t even have girls as friends because sex gets in the way.? Anthony tells him. 1.22am Most of the housemates are asleep. Craig follows Anthony into the Diary Room saying ?we need to discuss in private.? Craig hugs Anthony and says; ?I?m sorry.? ?I?m sorry mate.? Says Anthony. ?You know what I think of you. I don?t want to argue with you. I?m so sorry for hitting you in the face. I love you, I worship the ground you walk on, you?re my best friend. That bitch (Makosi) doesn?t deserve to touch you. That?s why I got angry.? Says Craig as he hugs Anthony.

Day 60: (25/07/2005 - Monday)

Nominations twist ? housemates nominate who they want to save The task brings love and positivity to the house Day 60 ? Monday 25 July 2005 12.02pm Orlaith, Kemal and Makosi are at the seating area. Derek, Craig and Eugene are at the pool. Orlaith goes to lie down. Makosi tells Kemal that she cannot hold a conversation with her at all. Kemal says he ?cannot stand? her. Derek says that he has never met a girl who uses her body as her only means of connecting with men. He thinks that she ?is a bad example to other women and she is distinctly non-feminist.? 1.35pm The housemates have been given a ?pass the positive parcel? task. The music stops when Orlaith is holding the parcel. She unwraps the first layer of wrapping and her positive forfeit is to compliment each of her fellow housemates. She tells Eugene that he is always smiling and happy, Makosi is a lovely person, always honest. Derek is intelligent and smart, Kemal is a very different person and truly amazing. Craig makes her smile and Anthony is really nice and good looking. The parcel stops next at Eugene and the housemates have to have a group hug. It then stops on Makosi and she is asked to tell the group a secret about herself. She tells them ?I have had an abortion.? The housemates are stunned and she laughs; ?Why is everyone so quiet?? 2.37pm This week the nominations process has been reversed. Big Brother tells the housemates that they must nominate the two people they most want to SAVE from eviction this week. INSERT NOMINATIONS ? PLEASE SEE SEPARATE RELEASE 5.40pm Most of the housemates are in the kitchen and seating areas. Craig is preparing dinner and asks Orlaith if she will chop some carrots, but she is painting her nails and says that she will help when they have dried. Makosi offers to chop them up, but Craig says ?it?s ok, I?ll get Anthony to do it.? Makosi is offended, she says under her breath; ?It?s pointless to make friends in here.? 6.57pm Makosi is still annoyed with Craig. ?Don?t set a place for me Craig. I asked to help and you said no.? she tells him. ?Only because you did it yesterday. I was thinking of you.? He replies. ?If I?m not good enough to make it I?m not good enough to eat it. Orlaith cooked yesterday too! I don?t want any, I?ll make something myself.? Orlaith then goes over to Makosi and asks her; ?Are you angry with me?? Makosi says; ?No it?s not you.? 7.38pm Big Brother has split the housemates into three teams for the second part of today?s love and positivity task. Makosi and Anthony must make an art instillation to represent a housemate?s inner beauty. Eugene, Derek and Orlaith must devise a mime routine to represent a housemate?s inner beauty while Craig and Anthony must write and perform a song. 8.44pm Big Brother has gathered the housemates at the seating area for today?s task. Makosi and Anthony present their art instillation. The mime artists (Derek, Eugene and Orlaith) perform their mime in honour of Kemal?s inner beauty. ?That was quality!? says Anthony. Craig and Kemal then perform their inner beauty song. Afterwards the housemates cheer and clap and Anthony says; ?That was absolutely mint.? 9pm The housemates are gathered together to hear that they have passed the task and will receive a special reward: either a cute kitten and some pampering products or some fags and booze. The girls straight away say they want a kitten and Craig and Anthony go to the Diary Room to collect their reward while the others watch on the plasma screen. ?Ahh it?s a kitten.? Coos Craig. They are given instructions of how best to care for the kitten and are told that it must be returned in one hour. The rest of the housemates whisper and tiptoe around so not to frighten the kitten, but Kemal runs into the Diary Room. He whispers; ?I?m a bit scared of that little thing. Does it bite? Has it got fleas? I?m not having that little thing eat my eviction outfit!? 11.56pm Kemal, Derek, Makosi and Orlaith are in the bedroom. ?It?s been a weird day.? Exclaims Kemal. Meanwhile, Eugene is telling Anthony and Craig about his experiences of midnight mass and how he always finds it ?quite nerve wracking.? Anthony and Craig listen with bemused expressions, ?What are you on about?? asks Anthony. 12.28am All of the housemates are in the bedroom telling ghost stories. Anthony starts a long story about when he and a ?friend? picked up a hitchhiker with a suspicious bag. The story climaxes with a joke to which they all laugh a loud, Anthony is obviously very happy with his ghost story telling skills and jumps around the room in hysterics.

Day 61: (26/07/2005 - Tuesday)

Day 61 ? Tuesday 26 July 2005 9.45am All the housemates are in bed. Big Brother is playing the Guns ?N Roses song, ?Live and Let Die? into the house as this morning?s alarm. Anthony dances along to Guns N Roses and pretends to play the drums. Eugene says that it is a classic hit. Derek mutters to himself that it is not good enough. Anthony goes back to bed and Craig crawls along the floor with a tube of hair gel. He squirts it on Anthony?s head. Derek sees them from the kitchen and again mutters to himself, ?how many times can they play the same joke?? 11.52am This week the Big Brother house will be shrouded in secrecy and espionage as the housemates become secret agents. Craig, Derek and Eugene are in the pool. Makosi, Kemal and Orlaith are at the seating area. Craig says that he didn?t like the morning?s wake up call. Derek questions what the message of ?Live And Let Die? was. Big Brother calls a housemate to the Diary Room. Kemal comes and Big Brother tells him the details of this week?s spy task. All the housemates are going to train as spies at the Big Brother HQ. The housemates will win a luxury shopping budget if they succeed in their training. Kemal is automatically given the role of being a secret double agent for Big Brother and he alone will be responsible for passing the task. The other housemates must not discover his secret identity. Kemal is excited. He leaves the Diary Room and calls the rest of the housemates to the dining table. Derek makes them all wait as he is in the shower and says that he will come when he is ready. Kemal reads them the laminate. 12.57pm Big Brother has provided housemates with essential spy equipment to help them complete this week?s task. Craig is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother Makosi and Derek are in the bedroom. Craig tells Big Brother that his name is Yu ? spelt Y U - and he is a secret agent from China. Big Brother asks him, ?Why Yu?? Craig says that he plans to destroy Big Brother from within. Big Brother then tells Craig that ?the wet beaver smiles when tickled.? Makosi goes to speak to Derek and tells him that he must not tell anybody what she is about to tell him. She does his lipstick whilst telling him that because she messed up Orlaith?s secret mission with her buzzer and has messed up previous missions, that ?they? want her out. She then picks up her briefcase and leaves the room. Derek continues to preen his wig in the mirror and Orlaith enters the bedroom. Derek asks her if she thinks that she will make it to the final of Big Brother and tells her that the boys told him she had said that she will remain until the end. Orlaith says that she certainly does not think that. She asks him if he thinks he will be in the final and he tells her not to be ridiculous, that he would never make presumptions about what the public make of him. Derek grills her about why she has stayed in the house this long when she constantly says she wants to leave. He says, ?you?ve got legs ? just do it.? He asks her if they have to wear their wigs at all times. When Orlaith leaves the room he grumbles out loud to himself, ?silly cow ? asking me such a question? and claims he would never be so naive. 1.18pm Orlaith, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. The rest of the housemates are at the seating area. Orlaith asks Craig and Anthony why Derek picks on her and relays what he told her they?d said about her. They both deny saying anything to him about her. Derek tells Makosi that he cannot stand Orlaith, that he likes her less and less and she is a snake. He tells Makosi about his earlier conversation with Orlaith and says that he is starting to turn the screws on her now. He calls her ?socially aspirational? and says he thinks she wants to be somebody. Makosi adds that she claims to ?be somebody at home? ? that she is in the papers and goes out with celebrities etc. Derek calls her ?a bullsh**ter.? 2.56pm As part of this week?s task, housemates must crack a morse code message played into the house, later today. If they pass the task they will be rewarded with a luxury shopping budget. If they fail they will have just ?1 per person to live on for the week. Orlaith and Kemal are at the dining table. Eugene and Makosi are at the pool. Anthony and Craig are in the living room. Makosi asks Eugene if he knows the morse code alphabet off by heart. Eugene says that he did a 15 week course in it. He tells Makosi that she has learnt the numbers very well. He tests her saying ?Dit dit dit dit da da da da.. full stop.? Craig and Anthony are arguing about who told Derek about Orlaith saying she would be in the final. Craig tells Anthony not to brand him as a gossip merchant. Craig says that Orlaith and Derek can battle it out between themselves and he doesn?t care about either of them. 3.01pm The housemates have been learning morse code for the past two hrs as part of this week?s task. Anthony comments that he thinks Craig looks like ?the woman who died in prison? in his ?spy wig?. Kemal asks if he is talking about Myra Hindley and the other housemates all laugh at him. Anthony cannot stop himself laughing. Craig tells them all to f**k off as he doesn?t want to be called a child murderer. He says he will ?take the f**king wig off? if they carry on. Big Brother plays a coded message to the housemates. Craig grimaces and the housemates all try to crack the code. They transcribe the message as ?Trust No-One.? Craig says that he doesn?t think anyone would make that mistake. Craig comes to the Diary Room to give Big Brother the message. When Big Brother says, ?hello Craig? but he responds, ?Craig is not my name but I?ll let you get away with it.? 4.40pm Kemal and Orlaith are in the bedroom. Makosi is at the seating area. Anthony is at the showers. Eugene is in the pool. Craig and Derek are in the garden. Craig asks Derek if he misses having a good snog. Derek agrees and Craig says that he misses getting hugs and kisses more than he misses having sex. He goes on to say that he likes nothing more than to stay in bed all day ?with lots of food goodies and sex treats.? Derek says, ?it?s a shame he?s not gay, he would have been suitable for you? and when Craig asks who he means he replies, ?Eugene.? Craig recoils in mock horror and laughs, saying that?s a horrible thought and he would have to be a prostitute being paid ?300 before he would go there. He says that Eugene makes his skin crawl and Derek defends him saying that he is a nice person but he wouldn?t like him in a sexual way. Derek says that he misses flirting and he is very good at it. He adds that he is very good at saying no and Craig says that he is very good at saying yes, in fact he cannot remember ever saying no. 5.07pm Big Brother has gathered all the housemates in the living room to find out who will face the public vote this week. This week housemates had to nominate two people who they wanted to save from eviction this week. The two or more housemates with the least nominations, will face the public vote this week. Big Brother announces that the housemates up for eviction this week are Kemal and Orlaith. They both look nonchalant and Kemal asks if he is actually up for eviction this time. Makosi says that they should all be ready to go. Craig says that he doesn?t get it and Anthony asks him what he doesn?t get. Makosi tells them not to analyse it but Anthony goes on to clarify that Kemal and Orlaith got the least votes to stay. Orlaith comments that this will be the third time her family will have had to come over for an eviction night and Kemal says that he will be wearing his full eviction outfit and is going to shave from head to toe. 5.23pm It?s been 16 minutes since the housemates were told who will face the public vote this week. Orlaith and Craig are at the seating area. Eugene and Derek are in the garden. Orlaith hugs Craig and he says that he wishes his name had been read out to face eviction. Orlaith says that she fed up but isn?t nervous or excited this time. Craig says that emotionally and physically he has nothing left to give the public. He thinks he will be alright but he needs to calm himself down. Derek tells Eugene he is surprised about the nominations. Kemal joins them and says that it feels odd and that he doesn?t feel nominated again. Derek says that he expected Orlaith to get no votes but he does not understand how Anthony manages to survive every week. He thinks that it was strange that Orlaith didn?t really react to her nomination this week and wonders whether Big Brother is protecting her and she is not really up for eviction. Kemal leaves and Eugene says that Kemal isn?t disliked but he doesn?t have a good friend in the house. Derek says he knows he is not liked but Eugene tells him that he is well respected. Derek points out that they are different things. 5.50pm Derek and Eugene are in the garden. Craig is in the living room. The other housemates are in the kitchen and seating area. Makosi asks Anthony if he knows how to fry an egg. Anthony claims that his egg is ?textbook.? He takes his food into the living room where Craig has his eyes closed in his hands. Anthony eats his sandwich and Craig gets up and goes into the kitchen. He makes himself some toast and goes to sit by the pool. Derek tells Eugene that Craig is behaving oddly. Eugene says that they have been too and Derek points out that they are not behaving odd they just are odd. 8.19pm Kemal, Makosi and Eugene are in the kitchen. The other housemates are in the bedroom. Craig and Anthony have not spoken to each other for 4 hours and 26 minutes. Anthony asks Craig what is wrong with him. Craig says nothing and Anthony asks him why he is giving him the silent treatment then. Craig explodes at Anthony saying that he doesn?t have to run after him all the time. Anthony says that he asked him if he wanted a cup of tea earlier and Craig was rude to him ? it wasn?t what he said it was the tone in which he replied. Anthony shouts at Craig to ?f**k off then? and yells at Craig not to raise his voice at him because he only wants to talk to him sensibly. He says that every time he has been near him this afternoon he has got up and walked off. He tells him that he is having another tantrum and leaves the room. Craig tells Orlaith that he is angry with Anthony for laughing and saying that he looked like Myra Hindley and that he looked like a child killer in front of everybody. 8.46pm Most of the housemates are at the seating area. Anthony is in the kitchen. Kemal is in the Diary Room. Craig looks at Anthony through the window and sighs, ?you fucking arsehole? whilst shaking his head. Kemal is set a mission by Big Brother to meet agent Double O Gnome. He must meet him in the garden by the loft and his eyes will light up a message in morse code. 9.37pm Derek, Kemal and Makosi are in the bedroom talking about Orlaith. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Kemal bitches, ?pains this, pains that? if I hear anymore I?ll deck the bitch.? He says that she told him her body is a temple but thinks she is talking rubbish. Makosi says that she is ?so selfish?, is always moaning and is ungrateful. Anthony asks Craig, ?what?s the matter now?? and Craig tells him that he embarrassed him at the table earlier when he called him Myra Hindley. He asks Anthony, ?if I had called you a faggot or a mincer.. how would you feel?? Anthony tells him that would be malicious whereas he was only joking. Craig says that Myra Hindley was evil and an animal and asks, ?where are we?? He says that Big Brother will show ?this? (their conversation) and ?that? (their conversation at the table) and says that he will get called Myra Hindley when he gets outside now. Anthony tells him that he has shown a lot of leniency during his time in the house and says that he is sick of asking Craig if he is alright. He says that he is stressed like everyone else and he finds it really hard. 9.55pm Eugene is in the garden. Orlaith is in the kitchen. Derek, Makosi and Kemal are in the bedroom. Craig asks Anthony if he wants a glass of beer to chill him out. Anthony says that it is a good idea and goes into the living room. When Craig comes in her shake his hand and says, ?sorry Anthony.? He says that it is ?the f**king house? that winds him up so much, and the environment. Makosi tells the others that when Maxwell was in the house and the guys were still a trio, Maxwell and Anthony used to attack Craig but Anthony cannot keep doing it on his own. Derek says that Anthony?s biggest dilemma is that Craig is the only person he can talk to in the house. Kemal says that Craig is a burden on Anthony. Makosi comments that Anthony is ?used to being loved but is not used to loving.? Derek jokes about Anthony, saying that he once asked him if he can be romantic and Anthony said yes, and then admitted that ?he kisses his mam and nan when he leaves the house.? 10.49pm Earlier Kemal was given a secret mission by Big Brother. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Eugene is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. Kemal is at the showers. Craig tells Anthony he was more upset about him laughing than anything else. Anthony says that he cannot help it. Eugene comes to the Diary Room. He talks in morse code, saying, ?dit-dit-dit-dit-da-da-da-dit-dit??..? spelling out ?hello.? He says he has spent a long time mowing the lawn and asks whether they can have a lawn game such as croquet. He leaves after saying thank you, also spelt out in morse code. Kemal goes to sit with the gnomes. One of the gnomes? eyes light up in red and flashes a message to Kemal. He spells it out on his little chalk board ? ?L-I-A-R.? He says he has got it and says goodbye to the gnomes. Craig and Anthony are trying on their wigs in the living room. Craig says that he adores his wig and Anthony tells him it?s terrible. Kemal tells Big Brother that he has spelt out LIAR. Big Brother tells Kemal that he will receive further instructions about the rest of his mission in due course.

Day 62: (27/07/2005 - Wednesday)

Kemal spies on Makosi for his second secret mission Derek is sent to a Secret Room The housemates think Derek has been evicted Anthony drinks too much at the Ambassador?s Ball Day 62 ? Wednesday 27 July 2005 9.45am The housemates are woken to James Bond theme music. Eugene has been given a laminate to read details of today?s task for all the Secret Agents. The housemates are told that hidden around the house are cover stories that they must each memorise for tonight?s Ambassador?s Ball. 1.42pm Kemal, Makosi, Derek and Orlaith are at the seating area. The rest are in the garden. In the pool Eugene is talking to Anthony and Craig about microwaves. Kemal (the secret Double Agent) is called to the Diary Room; Big Brother informs him that, for the second part of his secret mission involving a top secret surveillance device. He must choose one other Agent and decide on three questions to ask that housemate. Kemal will be able to watch and listen via the surveillance device hidden in the bedroom toilet. He chooses to ask Makosi the following questions; This week?s task relates to secret missions. The Big Brother experience is nearing the end, how do you reflect back upon your own secret missions and your continuing work? In which ways has your work in the Big Brother house hindered your relationship with any particular housemate? What lies have you had to tell your housemates in the nine weeks that you?ve been in the Big Brother house? On making his choice Kemal smiles saying; ?Yes, sweet Jesus that?s fabulous! This is so naughty, but I?ve got to do it.? Kemal goes to the bathroom and sits on the toilet awaiting further instructions. Meanwhile, Big Brother calls Makosi to the Diary Room. Kemal watches via the surveillance device, while Makosi answers question one; ?I?ve done really well. And for someone like one of my friends, Kemal, to have believed that I am an actress?.well that was quite interesting.? Answering question two she said: ?The first lie was that I had to flash my knickers to get alcohol. Then that I was a virgin. Oh and that I was apparently going because I pushed the buzzer.? She laughs. Her response to question three was; ?Well I?d probably be closer to Kemal if he didn?t think I was an actress. If he went on Friday he?d kick up a fuss because he?d think that Makosi is here and it?s not fair. But then he?d find out I am not an actress. He loves me as a friend, but not as a contestant. I don?t think I?ve made a lot of friends, well probably one ? Kemal ? when he finds out I?m not an actress.? She exits the Diary Room and immediately asks the others; ?Where?s Kemal? He?s on a secret mission, oh my God.? Kemal then leaves the bathroom and walks past Makosi who is now sitting with Derek and Eugene. 3.43pm Kemal is amusing himself trying on the wigs they have been given for tonight?s Ambassador?s Ball, while Makosi is combing Derek?s wig for him. Orlaith, Anthony and Craig watch on from the Living Room; ?Well he (Kemal) is a bit of a drag queen.? Quips Craig. 4.31pm Anthony creeps up on a sleeping Craig and squirts shaving foam on his head. Derek is in the Diary Room: ?We are all getting on rather well. There was an element of surprise about the two names that are up for eviction. I wasn?t surprised about Orlaith?s name. In my heart I very much hope we don?t lose another member of the original thirteen. My friendship with Kemal is a friendship I hope will go on when we leave this fine establishment. When I was growing up it was very difficult to be gay, particularly with a West Indian upbringing?.facing the truth in myself and I see that in him. With him being in this house I re-live a part of my youth that long ago disappeared.? 6.12pm In the shower Derek is exfoliating Eugene?s back. Anthony, Orlaith and Craig are in the seating area. ?I wonder why Kemal was locked in the toilet?? ponders Orlaith. Their suspicions then turn to Derek; ?Something was going on last night. Like a secret mission or something.? Says Craig. ?I?m a lot better when Derek?s not around. He turns my stomach.? Says Orlaith. 7.39pm The housemates are locked in the bedroom getting dressed up for tonight?s Ambassador?s Ball. Big Brother then plays classical music and the seating area with luxury food and champagne is revealed. All of the housemates must enter individually and introduce themselves under the guise of their cover stories. Makosi is the first and says; ?I?m Penelope and I?m a scientist.? Craig is next and introduces himself as ?Hans from Germany.? Anthony then introduces himself as ?Shane, the scuba-diver from Australia.? Orlaith puts on her best French accent and introducers herself as ?Toots.? Kemal is ?Ritagianni from Roma.? Eugene, dressed in a beard and overalls, and in an American accent introduces himself as ?John Harris the maintenance guy.? Lastly, Derek stands up and announces he is ?Jordan Markwell, a British investment banker.? They all greet each other with air kisses. 9.25pm The housemates are enjoying the Ambassador?s Ball when the music abruptly stops. Big Brother calls all the housemates to the dining table immediately and tells them that official intelligence reports state that there is a Double Agent amongst them who has been doing secret missions for the past 48 hours, and that as a group they must expose the Double Agent. The each in turn stand and say why they are not the Double Agent. Anthony heckles during Craig?s speech. Big Brother then announces that the group must now decide who is the Double Agent and send that housemate off to the Diary Room immediately. Orlaith tries to take charge; ?Seriously you have to think with your head.? Anthony thinks it?s Eugene, as does Makosi and Orlaith. Craig thinks it?s Derek. Derek thinks it?s Makosi, and Kemal agrees. Eugene is the only housemate to suspect that Kemal is the Double Agent. However, Craig is convinced that it is Derek and manages to sway the others saying; ?It?s definitely Derek.? ?Do you all want me to go to the Diary Room?? asks Derek. They all say yes and he leaves. In the Diary Room Big Brother tells Derek that for his own safety he must now leave the Diary Room via the door to the left and wait for further instructions. ?How exciting!? Derek squeals with delight. Meanwhile, back in the house Craig says; ?I saw Derek go to the Diary Room six times in a row. He?s the Double Agent -not in real life ? just in the task.? 10.07pm Derek has been missing for thirteen minutes. He is in Big Brother?s Secret Room. ?This is mad. I feel as though I?m in a concentration camp. It?s like Winston Churchill?s bunker, I feel like Churchill.? The other housemates are still sitting around the dining table. Anthony has been drinking champagne and is having a drunken rant about his fellow housemates all wanting to win. They are bemused and ask; ?What are you talking about?? ?Anthony, you are my best friend in the house. You are talking about a subject?. Anthony get a grip.? Craig whispers to him. ?Anthony are you drunk?? asks Craig. ?No!? says Anthony. Craig then ponders the whereabouts of Derek. ?He?s in the Diary Room and he?s gonna come out with chocolate.? Makosi reassures him. Craig and Anthony go to the living room. ?You are drunk. Come and sit down.? Says Craig. ?Unzip my suit, I?m dying for a piss.? Says Anthony. Craig helps him unzip the back of his wet suit. The other housemates watch on from the seating area. ?Craig sooo fancies Anthony.? Makosi comments. Back in the living room, Craig tells Anthony; ?Anthony, what are you like? Anthony I expect better from you than this. You?re drunk.? Meanwhile, Eugene is pondering today?s task; ?Something is not right about this task and this time. I?m thinking that it?s 10.15pm and there might be a programme on at this moment and I?m thinking we might have just evicted Derek. That?s what I?m concerned about!? In the living room, Anthony lies on the sofa and makes himself sick all over the floor. ?Oh Anthony, what are you doing? Stop it.? Craig fusses around him. 10.47pm Derek is still in the Secret Room. Back in the house, Kemal is at the dining table and ponders; ?What is going on?? Orlaith asks Kemal and Makosi; ?Were you given secret tasks?? The both say no. Anthony and Craig are under the outside shower, Orlaith goes to tell them her concerns for Derek. Makosi, Orlaith and Kemal then go into the Diary Room; ?Where?s Derek?? asks Kemal. ?We thought he was a Double Agent, he was sent in here and now he?s not in here and we want to know his whereabouts.? Says Orlaith. ?Has he been evicted?? asks Makosi. 10.51pm Makosi and Orlaith are in the bedroom talking about Derek. Kemal joins them and tells them what?s going on with Anthony and Craig; ?He keeps cuddling him and he?s not helping him. I said he?s fine, he?s walking.? Eugene joins them and says; ?I know what the problem is. Craig is smothering him and he?s making himself sick. Two negatives don?t make a positive. Shall I just tell them ? Anthony, stop making yourself sick and Craig, stop smothering him?? They agree he should and Eugene joins Anthony and Craig. Eugene, Craig and Anthony go to the Diary Room. They leave Anthony alone, he tells Big Brother; ?I?m feeling dead rough.? 11.48pm Most of the housemates are in bed. Derek is sleeping on a camp bed in the Secret Room. Anthony is asleep on the living room floor, so Craig and Eugene pick him up and carry him to the bedroom. In the bedroom, Makosi laughs as they struggle to put Anthony to bed. Craig tells Anthony; ?I ain?t sleeping. I?m going to sit and watch you.? Craig and Kemal then wonder where Derek could be and Anthony falls sound asleep.

Day 63: (28/07/2005 - Thursday)

Anthony wakes up and is not feeling great after his drunken night Derek returns to the house after his night in the secret room?but is he telling the truth about his experience away from his housemates? Anthony and Kemal argue about the luxury shopping list Day 63 ? Thursday 28 July 2005 6.18am Yesterday, Big Brother took Derek into hiding as part of this week?s Spy task. The housemates were asked to decide who they thought was the secret double agent. As they chose Derek, Big Brother removed him from the house for one night. Last night, Big Brother hosted an Ambassadors? ball. Anthony was carried to bed by Craig and Eugene. Anthony sits up and looks around. He shrugs and asks Craig what happened last night. Craig goes to sit on his bed and tells him that he was so drunk that he was sick everywhere. He tells him that he was crying and he was really upset, going on about his ?nan and mam.? Anthony is shocked and says that he is going to have to stay off alcohol for the rest of his time in the house. He gets up and walks through the kitchen, shaking his head and looking bemused. He goes to talk to Big Brother. He says that he can?t remember last night and that he doesn?t remember getting into bed. He says that he was ?off the scale? and he only remembers ?shovelling vodkas down me neck.? He asks where Derek is and reiterates that he is going to stay away from alcohol as he thinks he has lost man points for wasting alcohol by throwing up. 1.20pm Kemal and Makosi are at the seating area. The real Double agent for this week?s spy task is Kemal. If he keeps his mission a secret, the housemates will receive a luxury food budget next week. Derek has now been in hiding for over 15 hours-. Makosi ponders *where Derek is. Kemal says that the ceiling will probably open and he will come down from the skies. Derek is in the interrogation room. He receives a phone call from Big Brother telling him that it is time for him to re-enter the house. He says, ?oh dear, what a shame I want to stay.? He goes into the Diary Room and says, ?I am excited, delighted, and somewhat amused?I?m totally bemused? and that his mind is in turmoil. Big Brother tells him that it is up to him what he tells his fellow housemates about his time away. Derek leaves the Diary Room to a rapturous reception from Makosi and Kemal. The rest of the housemates come in and Derek reads them his top secret file telling them that the double agent has gone undiscovered whilst completing a series of secret missions and therefore the housemates have passed this week?s task and will receive a luxury shopping budget. Derek tells them that he has been watching them on a screen in ?a garden of Eden? and that he had access to information on all of them so that he knows everything about them. 3.36pm Makosi, Orlaith are at the seating area. Anthony, Eugene and Craig have been working on the shopping list for 34 minutes. Kemal asks if he can have the shopping list to take into the lounge to go over with the girls. He says that he wants to check it and also add on a couple of things such as Marlborough Lights. Anthony tells him he doesn?t need to check it, he can just tell him what he wants and he will add it on. Kemal goes to get the task resolve laminate and reads out the part about one of them being a double agent and completing their mission. Anthony asks, ?so what?? and Kemal asks him if he needs to spell it out for him. Anthony says that he knows what he is saying but he doesn?t care. Kemal says that he won the shopping budget for them whilst Anthony was running around being sick. He tells him to let him ?have his 15 minutes? and give him some credit for winning the task this week. Anthony says it doesn?t matter who won it they still have to share the shopping. He sarcastically says, ?congratulations, you?re a legend.? Kemal says he?d like to see whether Anthony could have done it on his own. Anthony shouts at Kemal and tells him to stop touching him as Kemal is crowding him. He adds that he wishes Kemal would stop acting like a ?prima donna.? Makosi mutters to herself, ?I hope that boy goes.. honestly.? 4.02pm Two minutes later Anthony is in the Diary Room Makosi reminds Kemal that he didn?t think Maxwell should have had any input into the shopping list when he was up for eviction. Anthony is running through the shopping list with Big Brother and says he just wants to order ONE packet of Marlboro Lights at ?2.80-something and says there is no way Kemal is having 2 packets at around ?4. 9.01pm Derek and Eugene are in the pool. Anthony, Kemal and Makosi are in the seating area. Makosi and Kemal tell Anthony how drunk he was last night Kemal asks Anthony if he gets that drunk very often. Anthony says that he does get drunk often but he doesn?t think the house is the right environment to do it in. He tells them that Craig told him he was crying for his ?mam and nan? and that he has lost man points for it. Anthony says that he has made a fool of himself in the house twice now. Makosi tells Anthony that Big Brother kept calling Craig to the Diary Room to tell him to leave Anthony alone and stay away from him. Kemal adds that Craig kept hugging and kissing him. Anthony walks into the living room. 9.15pm Kemal And Makosi are at the seating area. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Orlaith comes to the Diary Room. She says that she wants to go tomorrow as Kemal is a nice guy and deserves to stay. ?I?m not mentally ready and prepared for the outside world. Kemal is a nice guy but he deserves to stay.? Kemal is bitching to Makosi about Orlaith. Anthony tells Craig what Makosi said. Craig is furious and says that she is a lying bitch and she will get what?s coming to her when she gets out. He calls her a ?dirty bitch? and a ?f**king sl*t? and says that he cannot bear her. He also bemoans Big Brother saying, ?how dare they call Eugene into the Diary Room to look after you and not me.? Anthony tells him to chill out and asks him if he is really bothered about what they think. Craig fumes about ending up in ?a house full of ar*eholes? and fumes, ?how dare people make out that I was smothering you? before saying that he just sat next to him and looked after him.
