Day 50: (15/07/2005 - Friday)

Day 50 ? Friday 15 July 2005 10.49am It?s eviction day. This week the housemates were told that Big Brother would lie to them twice. The first lie came on Monday, when Big Brother announced that this week's nominations were optional. They weren't. The second lie came on Tuesday, when Big Brother told the housemates that Anthony, Craig and Kemal faced the public vote. They didn't. Following weeks of speculation that there may be a mole in the house, Big Brother has indeed put a mole in the house ? it is hidden in the garden. The housemates awoke to find a message scrawled in lip-stick on a window. Derek was the first to spot it; ?Who wrote that?? he asks. Kemal and Craig take a closer look. ?Is it a lie or is it not a lie?? Kemal speculates. ?I?ve thought it from day one, I?ve always thought it.? Says Craig. Kemal goes to tell Makosi and she takes it upon herself to clean off the message. 11.32am Science and Vanessa are in the bedroom. Most of the other housemates are in the garden. Derek is in the pool singing ?Moon River.? Craig goes to the Diary Room. ?That message was a bit weird. Everybody thinks it?s one of Big Brother?s lies, but I?m not sure. There?s only one person in this house I can trust and that?s Anthony ? the others I?m not sure.? Craig leaves the Diary Room to speculate some more with Kemal; ?Well I definitely know it isn?t Science, it isn?t Anthony and it isn?t me.? He says. Kemal goes to the Diary Room. ?What are you doing? There is a mole in this house, that is not a lie because I know who it is, you know who it is and Makosi knows who it is. I?m dying to stay now because if I stay they?re gonna find out who it is because I?m gonna tell them. If I stay there will be fireworks in this house because I?m gonna out her ? Kemal-style.? 12.35pm In the living room Vanessa asks Makosi; ?What is a mole?? ?In the context of Big Brother, it?s someone who is not a housemate, someone who is working for Big Brother.? Replies Makosi. ?It?s so you!? laughs Vanessa. ?I?ve always thought it because you always know what?s going on.? ?I?m not gonna answer that. What I want to know is why they wrote that message this week?? 1.21pm Orlaith, Anthony, Craig and Science are in the kitchen. Orlaith is cooking chips and Science tries to steal some. Anthony picks him up and takes him outside, but he returns to annoy Orlaith. ?You?re acting like a two year old.? She says to him. Science then goes to the living room to tell Makosi; ?I?m only pulling her leg man, she (Orlaith) can?t take a joke. You can tell in my voice that I?m joking.? ?You sounded serious.? Makosi tells him. ?Really? Nah, what?s wrong with you people?? They laugh. 2.03pm Vanessa is in the Diary room. ?I dunno what?s going on today Big Brother. So many weird things are going on. Since nominations Kemal has grown apart from us because of Orlaith. There?s tension between me, Makosi and Kemal since she came in this house.? 7.53pm Anthony, Kemal and Craig think that they are facing tonight?s eviction. Anthony is getting dressed in the bedroom. ?You?re looking very smart.? Orlaith says to him. Meanwhile, Craig is chatting to Derek; ?I?m finally here Derek, I?m going to see my Mum and Dad tonight.? says Craig. ?No you?re not. With dimples like that you?re going straight to the top. It?s hard because you don?t want to be apart from him (Anthony). You look so good together. I know I shouldn?t say that, but I say what I think.? Derek giggles. Craig smiles; ?That?s so naughty. I?ve never met anyone like you, you?re unique!? They laugh. 9.23pm Davina McCall announces that all week the public have been voting for Derek, Eugene, Orlaith, Science or Vanessa to become the next person to leave the Big Brother house. The housemates are shocked. Makosi laughs, Science shouts ?I told you!? Derek claps laughing ?I think it?s wonderful.? While Vanessa and Kemal can only utter, ?Oh My God!? Vanessa leaves the group and sits alone in the toilet, when she returns she announces; ?I know I?m going so the rest of you enjoy your stay.? 9.40pm Anthony, Kemal and Craig now know that they are safe from tonight?s eviction. Vanessa tells Craig; ?I could tell from the boos I?m going now.? ?Do you think they would?ve told my driver to come?? Derek wonders. Anthony says to Science; ?Listening to the responses from the crowd I reckon it?ll be a female who?s out.? Big Brother asks the housemates to gather at the dining table. Davina announces that MAKOSI and VANESSA have received the most public votes and that it is now up to the remaining housemates to decide who should go. The girls hug while the others vote as follows; Anthony voted to evict Vanessa Craig voted to evict Vanessa Derek voted to evict Vanessa Eugene voted to evict Vanessa Kemal voted to evict Makosi Orlaith voted to evict Vanessa Science voted to evict Vanessa On hearing the news, Makosi hugs Vanessa who sobs saying; "This is awful. I'm scared." Then Makosi follows Vanessa up the stairs telling her that she would leave too, but Science coaxes her back into the house leaving a tearful Vanessa to greet the awaiting crowd alone. VANESSA is the seventh housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house. 10.46pm Anthony, Makosi and Science are in the kitchen. ?Women are an endangered species in here.? Says Science. ?This will be a bachelor pad soon.? Agrees Makosi. ?Well it?s safe to be up against me because they (the public) want me out.? Derek and Craig are in the bedroom talking about why Vanessa may have been voted out. ?Maybe it was because of the way she bitched about Anthony when he was up for eviction.? Says Derek. Craig is surprised to hear this; ?What did she say? Well she?d better watch out because I will confront her. He?s my best mate in here and I won?t have anything said about him. End of!? 11.01pm Craig and Anthony are in the bedroom. Anthony is changing his trousers when Craig comments; ?They are the most hideous boxer shorts.? Kemal goes to the Diary Room. ?Why did you do that? I was elated, happy, excited to stay, but my happiness has turned to sadness after losing Vanessa. Makosi isn?t a contestant in this programme, she is a mole. I?ve been through every emotion tonight, I never thought it?d be like this. I love Vanessa.? 11.19pm In the loft Craig and Anthony are chatting alone. ?I?ve had problems with Vanessa, but I didn?t want her to go tonight. Out of the two of them yeah, but not out of everyone in here. People?s personalities keep changing in here.? Says Craig. Meanwhile, in the bedroom Makosi asks Kemal; ?How are you feeling?? ?I?m sad, I?m sad I had to choose between you two. She was shaking!? he replies. ?She wasn?t crying because she was going, ?Makosi reassures him, ?she was crying because she was up against me and because he just wanted to be ready.? 12.20am Most of the housemates are in the living room when Science asks; ?Who?s the mole? C?mon who is it, just say.? Makosi goes to the Diary Room to talk to Big brother. ?If we had the same votes then we both should?ve gone.? She is upset and cries. ?Being here knowing that they (the public) don?t want me - the experience doesn?t mean as much to me. I?d love to last to the end, but the torture of knowing I?m not loved is too much. Being up against my friend, my only friend?? she sobs. ?I know he (Kemal) wanted me to go, he?s Derek?s best friend now and he (Derek) is the most conniving man I?ve ever known, the nasty old bald man. I don?t have anyone anymore?.?

Day 51: (16/07/2005 - Saturday)

Kemal and Derek remain convinced Makosi is the Big Brother Mole but there?s a surprise discovery awaiting the housemates Will romance blossom on Anthony?s hot date? Orlaith pleads for silence but can Science leave her in peace? Anthony confronts Derek over his deductions Day 51 ? Saturday 16 July 2005 11.24am Last night Vanessa became the seventh housemate to be evicted. Derek, Eugene Orlaith, Makosi, Vanessa and Science all faced the public vote. Makosi and Vanessa received the most votes. Their fellow housemates were told to decide who should go. All of the housemates voted for Vanessa with the exception of Kemal. Makosi and Science are in the bedroom. Makosi asks where Orlaith is and says; ?She?s like Derek, trying to manipulate people into certain things. She said we needed to stick together but for what? Vanessa was the only person I felt sane around.? Science tells her not to worry about what happened to Vanessa; ?She?s alive outside, eating Nandos.? But Makosi struggles with the knowledge the public had voted for her, feeling she?s not supposed to still be in the house. Science says; ?You think it?s your time to go because of yesterday.? and Makosi tells him that no one knows what it?s like to be in ?Makosi?s shoes. Experiencing what it?s like to be told you?re 5 seconds away from leaving the house and your fellow housemates save you because you can do their hair.? Science tells her that wasn?t the only reason why she was chosen to stay. Makosi says; ?You?re a kind man. I?m going to sit in the sun and await my fate.? 1.15pm Makosi is alone in the living room. Derek and Kemal are in the bedroom talking about her. Kemal is saying: ?I don?t know if that?s her real name or age but she?s not a nurse.? Derek agrees that he too has questioned whether she is a nurse and Kemal tells him he wanted him to work it out. Derek knew there was ?a double agent who was also a woman? in the house. The rest of the housemates are in the garden. Science is asking each of them if they are happy to which they all reply yes. He then tries to get them all to clap as he sings ?If You?re Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hand? but they don?t want to join it. Orlaith tells him he?s like a child, singing nursery rhymes and tells him she needs to sit on her own and asks him not to talk to her. He says; ?I won?t talk to you, means I can?t talk at you.? Orlaith tells him he hasn?t got the right and Science replies; ?I have, why are you in her? Ain?t gonna shut up, not trying to give you a hard time.? Orlaith says she?s not listening and tells him not to talk to her. Derek goes to the Diary Room and tells Big Brother; ?It?s Leeds against Belfast. I?m going to go and spectate.? Back outside Science is telling Orlaith he?s just trying to brighten up her day ?not shutting up or zipping it for you. I?m not to blame.? 1.52pm Derek and Kemal are in the kitchen talking about Makosi. Derek says if she wants to be an actress then she?ll be offered many parts when she comes out of the house. Kemal tells him; ?She?s part of the crew, production.? It?s been 19 minutes since Orlaith and Science started arguing. Orlaith is now crying saying she can?t stand childishness or people not showing respect for others. Science, Makosi, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Makosi tells Anthony that Derek is convinced he?s gay. Anthony says; ?You?re joking?? and Craig asks; ?How?s he gay?? Makosi says that Orlaith thinks the same but not in a bad way, only that she?s big headed enough to think that if Anthony doesn?t fancy her then he may be gay. Craig tells Makosi; ?You?re not going to like hearing this but a gay bloke wouldn?t have had an erection in the swimming pool with you.? Anthony wants to know when Derek said this and Makosi tells him 2 weeks ago. Science says Derek has also told him he thinks Anthony is gay. Craig tells Anthony that Derek had called them ?a lovely, handsome, gay couple?. Anthony calls Derek a ?cheeky bastard?. 2.15pm Orlaith is in the kitchen with Craig telling him she wants to leave; ?Really wanted to go but I?m not quitting. Have enjoyed my time here but had enough of certain people? hate falseness.? Most of the housemates are in the garden. Anthony tackles Derek; ?It?s come to my attention that you think I?m gay?? Derek says; ?Haven?t said that. Is that what Craig said as it?s what Leslie and Craig used to say.? Anthony tells him that Science told him. Derek says; ?Don?t know whether you are or not, don?t give a damn but don?t now think that you are. Would that matter?? Anthony tells Derek he couldn?t let it pass by and had to bring it up with him. 3.41pm Derek is talking to Orlaith in the bedroom; ?Thing about being here is that none of it matters, particularly for me because I?m older. There are a lot of people in here emotionally younger than their years.? Orlaith says; ?It takes strength out of you? and Derek replies; ?It?s going to get worse? more mind games.? Anthony goes to the Diary Room. As he enters a fanfare plays and he is congratulated on becoming the 2000th Diary Room Entrant and told to cut the ribbon. Wearing a tiara and sash, Anthony says; ?I?m emotional? upon hearing he has won a date with Big Brother. Outside the Diary Room, Eugene and Kemal think Anthony has gone missing from the house. 5.24pm Anthony, Eugene, Makosi and Craig are in the garden talking about Anthony?s date. Craig says; ?You?ll probably date Vanessa. Imagine she?d have picked you if she had to choose.? 6.11pm Anthony is waiting outside the Diary Room for his date with Big Brother ?Girls, always late.? Kemal and Derek are discussing the date, saying Anthony had done nothing for it. A sexy female voice asks Anthony to go to the Diary Room. Once inside the voice has changed to a male one, telling Anthony there are some flowers and chocolates for him under the table and Big Brother has taken the liberty of ordering him a Pina Colada. Anthony says; ?You?re not trying to get me drunk are you Big Brother? After the meal you could come back to my place for a coffe. Got my own pool but live some dodgy housemates.? Big Brother has ordered the food of love oysters, for Anthony who says; ?I?m feeling horny already.? 6.45pm Kemal is telling Makosi he though he was the most likely to have been evicted the night before. Anthony has been on his date with Big Brother for 34 minutes. Anthony says; ?Hope I?m not being too forward but I came prepared.? and holds up a condom. Big Brother is shocked and tells Anthony it has been a meeting of hearts and minds and starts playing ?Let?s Get It On.? Outside the Diary Room, Craig and Derek are listening at the door. Craig calls Anthony a lucky bastard while Derek says he doesn?t deserve it. Makosi and Derek start dancing outside the door, while inside the Diary Room Anthony pretends to shag the Diary Room chair. 7.26pm Anthony has been on his date with Big Brother for 1 hour, 14 minutes. Big Brother is saying what a lovely evening it has been and hates to say goodbye. Anthony asks ?Is it taxi for Hutton?? He rejoins the housemates and Makosi says; ?Oh my goodness, how much have you had to drink?? Anthony says; ?It was fucking class, full of crap chat up lines. It was a hairy arsed bloke.? 8.09pm In the garden, Eugene asks Derek if he has ever run a local branch of the Conservative party. Derek is horrified; ?Certainly not, (I?m) much more aspirational than that. Ghastly idea.? Anthony is asleep in the bedroom. Craig and Kemal are flower arranging the roses Big Brother gave to Anthony on their date. Craig shows Derek his work and says he?s going to take them to Anthony. ?Boy love? replies Derek. Craig can?t wake Anthony who has passed out. 8.22pm Yesterday, Big Brother hid a toy mole in the garden. The housemates are unaware that if they discover the mole they will be rewarded with champagne. A housemate is called to the Diary Room, where Kemal find a pair of garden shears. Big Brother tells Kemal that only housemates who have not drunk any alcohol are allowed to use the shears. Kemal refuses to use them and gives them to Eugene who heads outside to start gardening. 9.27pm Anthony has been asleep for 1 hour, 26 minutes. Eugene has been cutting the grass for 1 hour, 5 minutes. In the bedroom, Science is painting Anthony?s fingernails as he sleeps. In the living room, Orlaith is talking to Makosi about the mole ?Kemal kept asking me if there?s a mole in the house. I said they?re not going to win so one less thing to worry about but it got me thinking is it Derek? He?s been up for eviction 4 times but hasn?t gone.? Makosi says she doesn?t think there?s a mole in the house but Orlaith says she wouldn?t want to watch Derek on television so why is he still in the house. Makosi disagrees ?I?d love to watch him to see what ridiculous things he?s going to say. Funny little man.? 10.20pm Makosi and Orlaith are talking about whether Derek fancies Kemal. Science says it?s just the oldest and youngest forming a bond. It?s been 1 hour, 51 minutes since Eugene started cutting the grass. He finally discovers the toy mole planted by Big Brother and tells his fellow housemates he?s stumbled across something. The discovery of the mole makes Derek and Kemal even more convinced that someone in the house is a spy. Eugene returns the mole to the Diary Room and says; ?During the last couple of days since the message appeared (about the mole), everyone?s been paranoid. This would suggest there is a mole in the house. I?m chuffed to find it? 2 moles with one stone.? Outside the Diary Room, Kemal tells Derek he?s believe it ?If I didn?t know what I do. They?re clever people, trying to make people not aware.? 10.23pm In the living room Makosi is telling Science and Orlaith she doesn?t think the nursing profession will want her back after going topless on TV and what happened in the pool. Orlaith says she?d like to be a teacher but that would be difficult as her pupils would have seen her topless. Makosi says; ?Barriers can be broken. I?m going to walk back into the hospital with my uniform on and say ?hello patients, I?m back!? In the Diary Room, Big Brother has given Eugene the champagne for finding the mole. Kemal is telling Derek that Makosi is worried about the two of them talking as he?s the only one who?s meant to know about her. Derek says they?re trying to put them against each other. 12.14am Anthon, Craig and Science are eating at the dining area. In the bedroom Kemal asks Makosi and Orlaith for some toilet roll. Makosi tells him to take Craig and Anthony?s as they have 3 rolls. In the dining area, Craig sees Kemal take the roll out of his draw and Anthony tells him to go and him. Craig says when he?s ready and the two start bitching at each other. Finally Anthony goes through to the bedroom to confront Kemal and says; ?Don?t want people going through my draws unless there?s good reason? Kemal tells him he hasn?t used it and Makosi starts answering Anthony back, telling him ?You?re going to get wet toilet roll in your face.? Out in the kitchen, Craig watches them through the window, stirring his pasta dejectedly.

Day 52: (17/07/2005 - Sunday)

Mince-gate begins after Science takes more than his portion of mince Orlaith discovers that her friends aren?t as loyal as she thought Kemal decides it?s time to have it out with Orlaith Makosi questions why Kemal voted for her on Friday night Day 52 ? Sunday 17 July 2005 11.16am Derek, Makosi and Eugene are in the garden. The rest of the housemates are in the bedroom. It?s been 56 minutes since the housemates were woken up by Big Brother?s alarm. It?s taken a while for Craig to get out of bed. Big Brother calls him to the Diary Room and he?s asked, ?what are housemates meant to do when alarms sound?? Craig responds, ?I sleep in once because I?m tired but I always get in trouble. Why is it always me.? He starts to cry and Big Brother tells him he may leave the Diary Room. Science asks what happened and Craig tells him, ?I told him to f**k off. People sleep in all day and I f**king sleep in once.? He then adds that he thinks Big Brother just wants him to be awake longer because he provides so much entertainment, ?they obviously want their money?s worth out of me, 24/7.? 1.19pm Science, Anthony and Makosi are in the living room. Science asks, ?do you think someone?s going to be kicked out? They?ll walk into the Diary Room and be evicted.? Derek and Craig are in the kitchen. Derek tells Craig about how much Makosi is bitching about Orlaith at the moment. Orlaith walks in. Craig asks her if she?s ok as she seems stressed these days. Orlaith says she?s ok but has been cleaning filthy toilets all day. Craig tells them, ?I can?t bear it in here anymore. Derek asks, ?do you and Anthony think I?m playing games?? Anthony joins them and says, ?just sit back and ignore everything. It?s pointless.? 2.22pm Orlaith is in the kitchen. Makosi is in the Diary Room. Big Brother tells Makosi, ?in your hands are instructions for today?s task. Go outside and read instructions out to everyone.? Makosi tells the others that they must only communicate with each other through song. If they are successful they will be rewarded with an afternoon of tennis playing. Craig starts singing and Orlaith sings back, ?shut up everybody.? 2.46pm The housemates have been communicating through song for the past 20 minutes. Makosi sings, ?Derek Laud, you should be singing more because you love tennis.? Science, Craig and Anthony go to the Diary Room to sing to Big Brother. Anthony sings, ?I have the most range in my voice because I can go high and low.? Craig then tries to sing higher and lower than Anthony. 2.55pm The housemates have been singing for 1 hour and 31 minutes. Craig tells Orlaith he hates tennis because it ?bores me to death.? Anthony sings, ?it is thoroughly enjoyable.? Kemal is in the Diary Room singing to Big Brother about Makosi. ?It?s been difficult to decide whether she should be out, whether it?s worth my efforts so I?ve come to give you the results of a survey I have conducted in this house. It?s clear people don?t want to know what?s going on with Makosi. To tell you the truth I?m shocked?I?m just going to enjoy it baby doll and be fabulous again. Who is Makosi? She?s a mole, yes she?s a mole, Makosi is a mole.? 3.47pm The housemates have been singing for 1 hour and 40 minutes. The task will finish when the ?fat lady sings.? Makosi sings to Kemal that Orlaith told her they shouldn?t be friends after Kemal voted for her on Friday night. Kemal responds saying he was waiting for someone to say something about that. Makosi adds that Orlaith keeps saying something about everyone. Kemal responds singing, ??she needs a good slap. Her ass is going to be out of here.? Meanwhile, Orlaith says, ?I have to leave soon. It?s not the people, it?s the situation.? Suddenly the sound of a ?fat lady singing? is heard throughout the house and Orlaith, Craig and Anthony dance around the garden. 4.33pm For passing the task, the housemates have been given tennis equipment to use for an hour. Science and Anthony areplaying. Derek, Orlaith and Kemal are in the bedroom. Orlaith says she think there?s going to be an eviction on Wednesday. Derek calls Kemal over and they discuss Orlaith. Kemal says, ?she told Makosi, ?keep Kemal and Derek to one side and join up with the rest of the group.? She said, ?I don?t think Kemal?s your true friend, watch out for him. He voted for you n Friday. Just watch him.? I?m going to pounce on her.? Derek responds, ?I don?t tryst Makosi either. We may have a double agent here. There?s amole in the house?maybe it?s Orlaith?Maybe Orlaith and Makosi are working together.? 6.41pm Craig, Science, Makosi and Orlaith are in the kitchen. Makosi is arguing with Science about how much mince he?s taking. Kemal, Derek and Eugene are in the garden. Derek says, ?whatever you want to say about me, you can say. I have a right to stand up against an intruder and say it?s all on camera.? Craig goes to Science and is not happy about how much food Science is cooking for himself. Kemal says, ?Science has taken mince for 9 people and taken a quarter for himself.? Anthony says, ?we?ve got to ration the food.? Eugene adds, ?may the weakest man lose.? 7.11pm Science and Kemal are in the kitchen. Derek, Anthony and Craig are in the garden talking about Science. Derek says, ?I?d rather have 10 Maxwells.? Anthony adds, ?Maxwell was a much nicer person.? He then turns to Science and says, ?you eat most of the food.? Science responds, ?I?m not here to have an argument with you.? Craig adds, ?you always make yourself out to be the victim. After this week I never want to see you here again.? 8.44pm Eugene and Science are in the seating area. Eugene says, ?I went to an opening of a restaurant in an airfield and that was a good day out.? Derek and Kemal are in the bedroom discussing whether Kemal should have it out with Orlaith after she talked about him behind his back. Kemal says he wants to but may need to have Makosi there with him. Makosi walks into the room and they hug. They talk about Orlaith Orlaith is talking to Craig. ?I made sure I?m not in a group,? she says. ?I?m ver friendly with Makosi and I?m friendly with Eugene but I just know when I leave heree that I?ve met people who I?d like to stay in touch with but Science, Derek and Kemal ? I?m not interested in because I?ve found out a lot of things people have said about me. It?s pathetic for people to do this. Why don?t they just say it to my face.? 9.08pm Derek, Makosi, Orlaith, Kemal, Anthony and Craig are in the living room. In front of everyone, Kemal tells Orlaith that he and Makosi are really good friends. ?I know we?ve had problems in the past week but I don?t appreciate someone coming in here and coming between good friends.? Orlaith responds, ?the only person I?m close to is Makosi because I knew her before. I know you?ve said stuff about me and Derek?s said stuff about me?I was a bit shocked the other night when you said Makosi?s name.? Kemal answers, ?I don?t have to explain myself to anyone, especially to you.? Makosi then adds, ?why did you vote me out?? Kemal stutters then says, ?I don?t need to explain my decision to anyone.? Derek interrupts, ?shall we have a glass of champagne?? 10.47pm Kemal, Makosi and Science are in the bedroom. Kemal talks about how Orlaith?s been bitching about Vanessa when she?s not here to defend herself. Craig and Anthony are in the dining area. Craig tells Anthony that he feels a bit sorry for the way everyone?s treating Orlaith. Orlaith goes to the Diary Room. She says, ?this day?s been really stressful.? She starts to cry and then adds, ?to the point where I just want to leave. I hate the pettiness. I?ve seen what people are like. I know Makosi has gone to Derek and Kemal. Makosi?s trying to win her place back because she was up on Friday night. I knew Makosi was in the mood to turn on me, she needs a group to be saved from eviction. I cant be bothered with her. It?s a child?s game They all want to win and they find me a threat. It?s so stupid because Kemal and Makosi are not going to be friends on the outside.? 11.13pm Anthony, Craig and Derek are in the dining area. Orlaith is still in the Diary Room. Kemal, Makosi and Science are in the bedroom. Kemal and Makosi talk on her bed. He says, ?whatever you do in here don?t do it on me.? Makosi replies, ?do what? I don?t need that. Vanessa said you don?t love me. What have I done? If I come to you, it?s because we?re close. I don?t need to tell you what is said about you, but I do.? Kemal tells her he sticks up for her and he does love her, but ?don?t do it to me.? Makosi asks, ?do what?? Kemal says she knows and Makosi says she?s sick of it and tells him to get off her bed because she wants to be alone. Orlaith asks what?s wrong, Makosi says she doesn?t quit but she can?t take it anymore. 12.06am Derek, Orlaith and Makosi are in the bedroom. Kemal is in the seating area. Science, Craig, Anthony and Eugene are in the living room. Science rants and Derek says, ?good luck back to Leeds.? Science tells Craig not to let things get to his head and he replies, ?you don?t know who I am.? Science says he ?cries, shaves his head and massages feet.? Craig says he shouldn?t assume he can sit in the living room with his friends. Craig says he?s happy for exposing the true Science. He says Makosi is playing a game and that?s why she got booed. 12.19am Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Science, Orlaith and Makosi are in the bedroom Science agrees to talk, ?I was wound up but I?m not manipulating? that?s Derek.? Craig shouts ?you think you?re a threat but we don?t want you in here. Someone else should be here in your place.? Science replies, ?sorry to burst your bubble.? Craig impersonates Science, ?look at me, look at me, get the camera on me.? Science says the cameras speak for themselves. Craig says Science thinks he?s superior because he beat Maxwell and then tells Science, ?you?re not superior mate because you haven?t been up against everyone.?

Day 53: (18/07/2005 - Monday)

The housemates are set a Human Dog School task Kemal confronts Makosi about their friendship The housemates make their nominations Orlaith is upset and tells Craig she wants to leave Day 53 ? Monday 18 July 2005 9.25am Big Brother has set the housemates at Human Dog School task. All the housemate have been told to gather at the dining table and pair up with the person they most look like. Craig and Anthony are the first pair to go to the Diary Room to decide who should be the Dog and who should be the Dog Trainer. They both want to be the dog and decide to play ?scissor, paper, stone? to settle it. Anthony wins and gets to put on the fluffy dog out-fit on. Craig leads him out of the Diary Room. Makosi and Derek are the next pair to the Diary Room. ?The one ?pretending? to be the dog is Makosi. I?m the bitch and Anthony is the dog.? Laughs Makosi. Kemal and Science pair up, leaving Orlaith to be paired with Eugene. 1.13pm The housemates are in the garden training for this afternoon?s Dog Show. Kemal is winding Science up; ?I got you from the RSPCA, they didn?t want you either.? ?I?m not a dog, I?m Sci-Dog.? Says Science. The Human Dog Show starts with Science performing a breakdance routine. Makosi is next and must make a model balloon dog with the guidance of her trainer, Derek. She fails to do it correctly and incurs the group?s first fail. Housemates must successfully complete two of the three daily Dog Shows in order to win their luxury food budget. The housemates do not realise that they have already failed day one. Anthony pots a successful trick shot on the pool table. Eugene is left to juggle three balls in 10 seconds, he has just three attempts to keep the balls in the air. The housemates watch on as he drops the balls on all three attempts. 1.57pm All of the housemates are in the bedroom. Orlaith is crying, Craig invites her to join him in bed. ?I?m just thinking too much of my family. I really need to see them. I?m not gonna quit and I told Big Brother that, but I need to go on Friday.? Craig advises her to ?think positive? and ?at the end of the day remember you are in the Big Brother house.? 2.10pm The housemates are still in the bedroom when they are told that nominations will take place in 50 minutes. Anthony jumps onto Makosi?s bed, they giggle. Craig and Kemal are talking about Orlaith. ?I hate seeing people upset. I feel sorry for her. You?ve got to help people in here.? NOMINATIONS TO BE INCLUDED IN TONIGHT?S SHOW 5.20pm Makosi, Science and Kemal are in the bedroom. ?Come here Makosi, I want to talk to you.? Says Kemal. She refuses to go over to him. ?I want to ask you.? He persists. ?What did I do so wrong to you?? ?If you feel you haven?t done anything it doesn?t matter. I trusted you. What I would like to learn from this is I am a bad judge of character, this is sad. When I trust people I expect them to trust me.? She tells him. Meanwhile, Science watches on from his bed. 5.50pm Anthony, Craig and Makosi are in the garden. Craig hugs Anthony: ?He don?t like it when I hug him. He gets embarrassed.? Makosi laughs. ?This is how he wants me to do it.? Craig hugs Anthony again and pats him on the back. 6.26pm Craig tells Anthony that Orlaith was upset earlier; ?She really wants to go. If she ain?t up I think she?ll have a break down. Meanwhile, Kemal tries again with Makosi; ?Is this how you?d prefer it to be? I don?t even know if I?m that mad with you ? if this is you or if they?ve told you to have fights with me. You know me 10 million times more than I know you.? ?You haven?t tried to know me. You?ve tried to figure me out!? she says. ?How can I be friends with someone who isn?t real?? He asks her. ?You re not real. You?re the mole, the secret agent in here!? Makosi looks at him and remains silent. 7.44pm Eugene, Makosi and Science are in the seating area talking about whether life in the house is ?dog-eat-dog.? Kemal, Derek and Craig are in the bedroom talking about Science?s constant whining. Meanwhile outside Science is ranting; ?I?m not courteous. I don?t cooperate. Listen, I?ll do what I want.? He laughs to himself. 10.53pm All the housemates are in the living room. Derek announces that they are playing ?the first ever edition of Big Brother?s Weakest Link.? All the housemates introduce themselves and he asks each of them a question. Orlaith can?t say what the Irish parliament is called and Craig can?t remember the name of President Bush?s predecessor. 12.01am The housemate stopped playing the quiz 28 minutes ago. Kemal, Makosi and Science are in the living room talking about past pranks they?ve played in the house. ?If we hid Orlaith?s make up bag she?d cry for days.? Grins Kemal. Makosi decides to go ahead with it, chuckling, "It's a joke, it's not malicious! We'll hide it till Friday, see how it goes!" ?You two are crazy!? laughs Science. ?They?ll never think it?s us, we?re not talking.? Says Kemal to Makosi and in the end the dastardly plan reminded them of why they were so fond of each other in the first place, and as they wandered off to bed they paused for a hatchet-burying hug. 1.06am Most of the housemates are in bed. Anthony is asleep in the seating area, Science is outside and Craig is alone in the living room.

Day 54: (19/07/2005 - Tuesday)

Science and Orlaith learn that they face eviction this week The housemates are punished for breaking task rules Science is alienated from the group after arguing with all the housemates Day 54 ? Tuesday 19 July 2005 9.01am As part of this week?s Human Dog School task, when the alarm sounds the Trainers have just 4 minutes to get their dogs into the garden for a morning walkies. Makosi is the last housemate to put her dog outfit on making her and Derek the last pair to get into the garden. Kemal struggles to control the unruly Sci-Dog (Science) and is forced to chase him around the garden screaming ?I don?t do exercise.? 10.30am Most of the housemates are in the seating area. Makosi has already broken the task rules twice today so Big Brother has punished all of the housemates. The Trainers must now keep their Dogs on a leash until further notice. Sci-Dog (Science) refuses to heel when Kemal tries to lead him. ?No walkies now.? Says Science. ?I?m not going to say please to my dog!? says Kemal. Science then takes off his dog collar and runs out into the garden. ?It?s over. You?ve just got us a fail. What?s the point Science?? Kemal yells after him. 10.37am Derek and Makosi go to the Diary Room. ?I?m very anxious that this task be passed so I need clarification of the rules.? Says Derek. Big Brother reminds Derek that he must keep an eye on his dog. Makosi is convinced that she has not done anything wrong; ?Makosi has not broken any rules!? she protests. Meanwhile, in the garden the other housemates are complaining that Science has taken off his dog collar. ?I?m not apologising to anybody. Apologise for what? I?m not bothered.? Argues Science. ?Don?t ague with him cause that?s what he wants.? Kemal tells the others. ?He wants attention. Just ignore him. If we fail we fail because of him.? 11.40am It has been 50 minutes since Big Brother punished the housemates for breaking task rules. Big Brother calls Kemal and Science to the Diary Room. ?Now you can explain to the big guy how you?ve been a naughty dog.? Kemal tells Science. Big Brother tells Kemal that he has failed to control his dog. ?I?m going to the vet to have him put down.? Kemal quips. ?Have some respect for Sci-Dog or Sci-Dog will have no respect for you.? Science responds. Big Brother asks Kemal to take his dog to the Dog House (the loft). Science runs across the garden dragging Kemal with him while Derek giggles at the scene. 12.56pm Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Big Brother let Science out of the Dog House 11 minutes ago. Science is arguing with Derek in the bedroom while Makosi and Eugene look on. ?We all know you are a mummy?s boy. You always want your own way and you can?t stand to see other people enjoying themselves. You should learn something about team work and team effort. You are nothing but a loud mouth, foul mouth ? you need to learn m-a-n-n-e-r-s. You have the mind of a 12 year old and it?s tragic.? Derek tells Science. Science responds by mimicking Derek and repeatedly touching his shoulder when Big Brother calls Science to the Diary Room. In the Diary Room Big Brother reminds Science that during a heated argument physical contact could lead to a potentially dangerous situation. Meanwhile, in the bedroom Derek tells Makosi off for not sticking up for him. ?Please leave me out of this, I don?t want to get involved.? She says. 1.45pm The housemates have been given a duck-herding task to test the Dog's herding skills. Each pair of Dogs have 2 minutes to herd ALL of the ducks from one pen to the other pen in the garden. Anthony and Makosi are first up and fail to complete the task within the time limit. Then Eugene and Science make their attempt, but also take too long. The housemates have therefore failed this week?s task and will be supplied with a limited food budget at the end of the week. They are unaware that they have failed. 2.54pm Orlaith and Makosi are in the Living Room talking about the recent arguments in the house. ?It?s all egotistical and testosterone. Imagine if there?d been six girls and two boys left in here. Girls can have fun. I can?t cope with this anymore.? Says Orlaith. ?I?m not gonna let that man push me out of here. They can say it?s a man?s world as much as they like, but damn this woman is ready for a man?s world.? Makosi tells her. Meanwhile, Science tries to join them, but they tell him that they are having a ?Girly chat.? 4.47pm Eugene and Orlaith are in the garden when Science walks out carrying the clothes horse. ?Where are the towels that were on that? Were they dry? If my stuff was on there and they?re not dry you should?ve left them. If they are wet and I?m not happy?..? Says Orlaith before storming inside. ?I never thought that it?d be an issue.? Says Science. ?I tried to be diplomatic. You saw that Eugene.? Orlaith returns with her damp clothes and she and Science argue. ?I do want to leave because of you. ? She screams at him. ?Science just shut up. Shut it, zip it, lock it and throw away the key for once. Leave me alone.? She storms back into the house in tears and is comforted by Derek. Science is left ranting in the garden; ?Now you?ve said your peace let me say mine. I don?t want to leave. Everyone else wants me to leave, but what can I say?? 5pm Big Brother has gathered all of the housemate to hear the results of this week?s nominations. When Orlaith and Science are read out, Orlaith gushes wiping away the tears; ?Thank God. Thankyou. I?m so happy.? The others are silent. ?It?s not as if I was expecting anything less. Why are you all so sad man? Everyone got what they wanted.? Science tells them. 5.25pm Craig is upset in the garden. Anthony tries to console him; ?Your Mam and Dad will be thinking just snap out of it.? Meanwhile, Orlaith is in the bedroom with Derek. ?Remain resolute and strong.? He tells her. ?I had my issues with you, I sorted them out with you, the slate is clean! I very much hope you are still here on Friday. A rush of blood went to his (Science) head when he was against Maxwell. Like tennis you are only as good as your last match, you never know what?s around the corner, you can?t get big-headed. The public have the right to put you out, that?s what politics has taught me.? 6.13pm In the Living Room Orlaith tells Makosi and Kemal that she can?t wait to get her nails done. Science joins Eugene in the garden; ?Can I speak to you?? ?I didn?t approve of the way of the way you acted this morning.? Eugene tells him. Science defends himself; ?Some people in here have never met someone like me in their life. I?ve tried to get on with people.? ?But this morning you had to play bad dog. Is it right to pick on Craig saying Shut your big gay mouth?? continues Eugene. ?I never said that to him!? says Science. 8.34pm Eugene is in the kitchen washing up. Science is alone in the seating area. Anthony and Craig are in the pool. In the Living Room Kemal tells Derek; ?We?re doing the shopping this week.? ?I?m not prepared to be spoken to like that by Science. I?m old enough to be his father. I have to keep a lid on my temper because it takes me a long time to calm down.? Derek tells Kemal as he massages his feet. ?I hope and pray he goes.? Says Kemal. 9.15pm Most of the housemates are in the garden. Derek is cleaning the kitchen. In the Living Room Science tries to explain to Kemal; ?I?ve never been around people who are gay before, but that doesn?t make me homophobic.? ?I believe you have some problems with people who are gay. Like you don?t want to get into the pool with me. I know my boundaries, I wouldn?t joke around with you.? Kemal tells him. But Science insists; ?People are free because God gave man free will. People are free to do whatever.? ?To say prance around like a fairy insinuates something against gay people.? Kemal tells him before walking out of the room. ?Don?t try to put words into my mouth.? Science calls after him. 10.18pm Craig, Kemal, Derek, Makosi and Eugene are in the Living Room playing ?Just A Minute.? Derek has one minuet to talk about pornography. Meanwhile Orlaith is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother; ?I feel a lot happier today. I?m excited because I?m up for eviction on Friday. The group has lightened up too. I?ve so much to do now ? my nails, my hair. I need to prepare my clothes, decide on an outfit. Then exfoliate, work on my tan, sort out my skin. I?ll be busy.? 11.48pm Science is alone in the bedroom talking to himself; ?What a day. So many revelations. Tactically they?ve pulled together as a force. I could go in there, but I know what will happen ? people will leave. So I may as well stay in here and have some Science-time.?

Day 56 ? Thursday 21 July 2005 11.49am Some of the housemates are in the bedroom. Makosi and Kemal are chatting about Orlaith in loft. They agree that she?s not really been talking to them much this week and that she?s pretending she wants to go tomorrow night so she looks like she?s been prepared for it when she leaves. Anthony and Craig are in the living room. Craig asks Anthony to tell him about his favourite sexual experiences. Craig tells Anthony, ?you?re quite agile aren?t you. I bet you can perform the f**king Karma Sutra book.? Anthony tells him to stop talking about it but then tells Craig he thinks Craig would be more dominant in bed. 12.32pm Derek, Kemal and Eugene are in the loft working on their ?49 shopping list. Kemal suggests they get sausages, stating, ?I don?t care about Science,? who doesn?t like sausages. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Anthony says he hasn?t bee sleeping and Craig reckons it?s because he?s ?been sleeping alone. Maybe you?d sleep better if you slept with me.? Makosi and Orlaith are talking in the bedroom. Science is in the Diary Room. He says, ?I?m trying to learn how to cope with everyone else?s differences. It?s hard to explain. I used to speak to Eugene on a level, I used to speak to Derek, I?d love to stay, I hope I stay. It?d be good to stay.? 3.44pm Some of the housemates are in the garden. Science and Makosi are chatting. Craig and Orlaith are in the loft. Craig tells her, ?I?m bored.? Orlaith responds, ?I?m OK today because I know I?m staying. I?m ready to go now.? She adds that she?s convinced she?ll be here in the last week. If she stays, ?I?m not going to do anything different. I?m just going to stay in my bikini and do nothing. I planned to be here 1 week and I know I?m staying here now. I?ve got another 3 weeks here and I know the public want me to stay.? 5.09pm Science and Makosi are talking in the garden. Science tells her, ?I?ve got to be physically and mentally strong. That?s why I try to be true to myself here.? Anthony and Craig are in the living room. Anthony tells Craig, ?I?m sick of getting the horn on because of passing thoughts in my head.? 6.20pm Most of the housemates are in the seating area talking about porn. Derek is talking out loud alone in the pool, pretending to be Science. He says, ?it?s them that make my voice loud, they make me do it, poor me, I?m from the ghetto and never care what other people do or say and damn me. Citizen Science he calls himself. Citizen Science should go on trial and I await your verdict tomorrow night.? 10.33pm Kemal, Makosi, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Kemal says he thinks he can ?turn? Anthony. Craig disagrees, ?Anthony is 100% straight. He would never kiss or sh*g a bloke in a million years.? Anthony gets angry that he?s fighting his battles and the 2 argue. Makosi comments that they sound like ?a married couple.? Anthony tells Craig, ?you?re lie a nagging wife.? 10.59pm Craig and Anthony are both fighting to get into the Diary Room. Craig tells Anthony, ?you?ve annoyed me enough.? Craig asks, ?why you being horrible to me?? Anthony responds, ?don?t go on and on and on.? Craig tells him, ?I?m sitting there defending me and you?re having a go at me like I?m the twat.? Anthony goes into the Diary Room. He tells Big Brother, ?I?ve run out of lager. Any chance of getting one for me?? The others are in the living room. Craig starts crying. As Anthony walks out of the Diary Room, Eugene asks him, ?Anthony, are you alright?? Anthony responds, ?it?s not an issue? and walks over to the living room. Derek then asks Eugene, ?why?s he not alright?? but the two of them don?t have any answers. 12.30pm Orlaith, Makosi, Science and Kemal are in the bedroom talking about Anthony and Craig. Kemal says Anthony is scared of looking like a puppy dog but ?Craig?s taking the lead between the 2 of them.? Eugene and Derek are at the dining table discussing how nice Science is trying to be before tomorrow?s eviction. Derek then talks about Makosi, saying that she is completely opportunistic and he has defended her on 3 separate occasions for nothing and now he thinks she is a silly little girl. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. They haven?t spoken for 1 hour and 19 minutes. Anthony burps and says he can?t carry on sitting in silence. He says that if Craig has a problem he wants him to bring it up and there is obviously something wrong with him. He asks him what was wrong with him outside the Diary Room. Craig says that he doesn?t like being told to shut up. He says that it sounded really malicious and he didn?t need to speak to him like that in front of everybody else because it made him feel like an ar*ehole. Anthony tells Craig that he is his mate and that he is right and he is sorry. He says that he didn?t mean to be malicious. Craig goes on about making him look like an ar*ehole. He says that people go on the show to win 100k and they will do anything to win it. He says that he is the one person who really looks after Anthony. Anthony says that he agrees and that he needs a cuddle. He goes over to hug Craig and apologises again. Craig hugs him back.
