Day 43: (08/07/2005 - Friday)

Maxwell is evicted from the Big Brother house Science gets a little woozy after his celebration party Craig and Anthony are devastated by Maxwell?s departure Day 43 ? Friday 8 July 2005 11.18am Maxwell, Anthony, Science, Craig and Kemal are asleep in the bedroom. Big Brother has been playing various alarms into the bedroom for the past 32 minutes. Derek and Eugene are still in the pool. Orlaith, Makosi and Vanessa are in the loft. Science refers to the alarm ?24/7 when we?re asleep there?s no way no get away from the sounds of the rooster.? Orlaith says the boys have taken all the beers. Vanessa tells her they always do. Makosi witnessed Maxwell hiding beers and going back for more,? they gang up on people? nobody will want to associate with them outside the house.? Orlaith is disgusted how Maxwell checks himself out in the mirror. Makosi states ?he is sensitive but heartless.? Orlaith says Maxwell is the ringleader, not Saskia. Makosi says ?he has become Mr Personality, acting up to the cameras.? 3.18pm Derek, Orlaith, Makosi and Vanessa are in the loft. Eugene and Science are in the garden. Kemal is dressing up in the kitchen. Maxwell, Craig and Anthony are in the living room Eugene cant believe a space craft can be re-used after a man has landed on the moon yet shoes disintegrate. Craig picks his nose in the living room. Anthony tells Maxwell he?ll definitely stay against Science, Craig adds that people wont like Science?s character. Maxwell talks about his chat with Big Brother ?they asked me who deserves to stay and I said me?. I get involved, I have a smile on my face? if you don?t want to do stuff then stay at home.? Craig says he sometimes he cant be bothered to join in. Maxwell replies ?nobody notices you Craig.? 5.43pm Craig, Anthony and Maxwell are in the living room. Makosi, Orlaith, Vanessa and Kemal are in the bedroom ? they have spent the last half an hour thinking of a way to fool Anthony into believing that he, not Maxwell, is up for eviction tonight. Makosi has devised a plan and asks Anthony if they can talk, leading him into the garden for some privacy. Makosi explains she has been on a secret mission for Big Brother and therefore Science and Anthony are up for eviction?. Not Maxwell. Anthony asks why she picked him, she replies ?because I had to.? Anthony breaks the news to Maxwell and Craig. Maxwell says its ?waffle.? Anthony checks with Makosi she?s telling the truth. She tells him she is. Anthony asks various questions about her secret mission, Makosi answers them quickly and confidently. Craig says ?this is fu**ing shit.? Anthony comes to talk to Big Brother, ?it has come to my attention that I?m up for eviction. Is it true?? Big Brother tells him the announcement was made last week. Anthony insists he never believed her and was just checking. Craig says Makosi?s gone way too far and Anthony is shocked she?s playing with emotions?. Craig suspects he?s the only person with morals. 9.25pm All the housemates are in the living room. Davina announces Maxwell is the sixth person to leave the Big Brother house. All the housemates are equally stunned. Anthony makes a speech ?I?m not going to lie but I?m surprised. No disrespect to you Science. Maxwell hugs Anthony and Craig and exits the house. Kemal calls Vanessa, Makosi and Orlaith for ?diva hugs.? Craig cries in the toilet ?I can?t talk I?m so shocked. How could people want him out?? Anthony suggests he may be coming out but Craig feels this is the end. He says he?s not ready to face the others yet. He weeps ?oh Maxwell.? 10.31pm It has been 30 minutes since Maxwell was evicted from the Big Brother House. Most of the housemates are in the living room. Vanessa and Kemal are in the living room toilet. Kemal is happy about Maxwell?s departure. He says it proves the public refuse to support a bully. He points out Maxwell was too confident about winning and wonders what will happen to the followers Anthony and Craig and thinks the movements over the next week will be very interesting. 10.57pm Derek, Vanessa, Orlaith, Makosi and Kemal are in the living room. Craig and Anthony are in the garden. Big Brother has called Science to the Diary Room. Anthony and Craig are devastated. Craig doesn?t understand how the two biggest characters have left (Maxwell and Saskia). Science is called to the Diary Room. As he walks through the dining area, he discovers the party set up. He enters the diary room and says ?thank you thank you big guy and thanks to those who show bare love.? Big Brother tells him the party outside is his reward for winning the debating task. Big Brother says those on his team must attend and t-shirts are compulsory.? Makosi, Vanessa, Craig and Orlaith all attend the part whilst the other housemates stay in the living room. Derek says he doesn?t mind because the food?s always rubbish anyway. At the party, Craig reluctantly pours champagne whilst the others eat, dance and drink. Science tells them ?I couldn?t have done it without you.? 11.16pm Anthony tells Derek he?s surprised that Maxwell?s been evicted. Science and Makosi come to the Diary Room with balloons. They both inhale helium and speak to Big Brother. Makosi can?t do it properly so leaves. Science thanks Big Brother for the party. 12.01am Anthony, Orlaith, Kemal and Derek are in the living room. The rest of the housemates are in the house. Derek asks Anthony what the most expensive gift is he bought for someone. Anthony says a dog. Derek squeals in delight ?wonderful, wonderful, marvellous.? Science wants to smoke so steals Derek?s last cigar. He smokes it against the window so that he can see. Derek assumes the cigar is from Big Brother and doesn?t understand why Science is antagonising him ?that?s the difference between a boy and man.? 12.54am Most of the housemates are preparing for bed. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Craig and Anthony still can?t believe Maxwell?s gone. Craig tells him Big Brother told him to enjoy the party or he?d be punished. Science tells Anthony that Derek hates him. Anthony already knows this information but Science continues ?he?s rude and calls us peasants?hunt the meat that must stay sweet? he said out, out, out.? 2.13am Most of the housemates are asleep. Anthony is in the Diary Room. Science, who has drunk one bottle of champagne and 3 bottles of beer is alone in the garden. Science can?t open the sliding door. Anthony suggests he goes to bed, but Science says he needs air. Anthony asks him to call it a day but Science says he?s not finished. Anthony wonders what needs to be finished and Science replies ?resting.? Anthony tells him he needs to go to bed but Science tells him the mission isn?t finished ?I?m woozy in the plunge pool Jacuzzi.?

Day 44: (09/07/2005 - Saturday)

The housemates win the chance to get messages from their friends and family but why do Makosi, Craig and Kemal shed so many tears? There?s friction in the house when everyone learns that Craig has swapped some shopping list items for lager Has Science switched allegiance to the other group? Day 44 ? Saturday 9 July 2005 10.25am Last night Science stole Derek?s last remaining cigar. Vanessa, Derek, Eugene are talking about Science in the pool. Makosi tells the others that last night Science had the chance to get back in with the group, ?to get rid of the nastiness.? They all talk about how much Science keeps changing and how weird they all think he is. 11.13am Science goes to the Diary Room, ?reflecting on yesterday, what can I say? Thank you for the party?I can?t justify taking the guy?s cigar but I?m not apologising. I?ll deal with the consequences.? Elsewhere, Orlaith and Anthony are talking about Science. Anthony tells Orlaith ?he?s definitely not got a game plan.? 11.31am Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Anthony asks Craig, ?you lethargic today?? Craig answers, ?I?m not in the mood to do anything. I?m still in a state of awe, still can?t believe the bloke?s gone.? Makosi and Science are in the bedroom. Science is telling Makosi that he thinks Derek is the ?Dark Destroyer.? He says that last night he behaved the way he did because he avoided eviction and ?I wanted to see how Derek would cope with it?from Monday he switched and started playing his next phase of whatever manipulating game he plays. I aint sitting down and talking to him. I thought I?d do something to p**s him off by taking his cigar. I could do a lot of damage if I wanted to. The truth will be known.? 1.14pm Anthony and Eugene are in the shower. Eugene asks Anthony why people from Newcastle put the word ?like? at the end of sentences. Craig and Derek are in the Living Room. The other housemates are in the seating area. This week?s shopping has just been delivered. Earlier this week, Craig altered the shopping list , replacing some items, including Bran Flakes and chick peas worth ?3.68 with lager. Orlaith is the first to notice, ?there are no Bran Flakes.? Anthony takes the lagers from the store room and gives them to Craig. Craig tells Anthony, ?I want the group to hate me so I can be up for nomination.? The others are discussing all the missing food. Anthony asks Craig if he wants him to take the blame with him. Craig is unsure. Anthony says, ?it was a bit selfish and greedy of us, like.? Craig doesn?t agree. Makosi and Kemal go into the living room and ask what Craig took off the shopping list. Kemal tells Craig and Anthony, ?no-one in this house got luxury items?this is unacceptable.? Craig responds, ?I?m not the only one who drinks beer in this house.? Elsewhere Derek says, ?Anthony and Maxwell got Craig to go in there to get beer. Science, he?s now gone over there to align himself to them. I don?t want anything to do with him.? Anthony starts drinking one of the cans of lager. Kemal, who doesn?t drink lager, starts asking for some but knowing Kemal doesn?t like lager, Anthony and Craig don?t give him one. Anthony raises his can and says, ?Maxwell, this one?s for you mate,? before drinking the rest of it. 1.39pm Eugene is drinking tea outside. Science is in the bedroom, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Craig says, ?I?ve just bought my ticket out of here.? Anthony asks, ?what am I going to do if you?re not in here?? The rest of the housemates are in the seating area. Derek asks, ?what do you do when you?ve got thieves in the house?? Vanessa responds, ?I warned you what Craig?s like.? In the living room, Craig tells Anthony, ?had Maxwell and Saskia beene here I would have been bothered. If the public wanted him out, I?m definitely out of here as soon as I?m up.? 2.18pm Craig, Science and Anthony are in the living room. Anthony tells Science, ?you lost a lot of man points last night.? Craig continues, ?I gained some because of the beer.? Anthony concludes, ?I gained selfish points.? Meanwhile, the other housemates are hiding food in the bedroom. Makosi laughs and Kemal says he wants to steal more. Derek tells there others that there?s more mince in the kitchen and they all agree that if Kemal walks into the kitchen wearing only his thong, the others won?t look at him and he will get away with stealing it. So, Kemal saunters into the kitchen with only a thong on and as expected, Craig, Anthony and Science look away. The others all laugh and Derek says, ?that?s the best joke in the house so far.? Kemal continues the joke by walking into the living room and asking if they will be making their own food today, or if they would like Kemal to cook for them. None of them look at Kemal as he stands there in his thong. Science hits Kemal?s bottom with a towel and tells him to put some clothes on. Kemal then turns to them, says that he will be cooking something with mince, and then saunters back out of the living room. 3.28pm Craig and Anthony are in the Living Room. Anthony says, ?I want to win.? Craig asks, ?do you think you will?? but Anthony says, ?no.? Orlaith and Kemal are chatting in the garden about how Science has switched allegiance. Orlaith says, ?I?m please, I?m happy because he was the underdog.? Makosi and Vanessa are talking about Derek in the loft. Vanessa says, ?I think Derek is brainwashing a lot of people. Science thinks h has to tell me what Derek has been saying about myself.? Makosi continues, ?the problem is?I think Derek and Science are the same people from the same background?but Derek knows how to talk?is articulate?? 4.53pm Big Brother has gathered the housemates in the living room to tell them about their latest task. Kemal reads the instructions. He tells them one housemate must take part in a ?mastermind-style? quiz and if they win, they will be rewarded with messages from home. They all try to decide who knows more. Both Kemal and Derek want to do it but when Big Brother calls the ?brainiest housemate? to the Diary Room, Kemal gets up and walks to the Diary Room. Derek is not smiling. All the housemates can see Kemal on the plasma screen in the living room. Kemal must answer nine questions correctly to enable all 9 housemates to receive a message. However, he must give the answer to the previous question, after being asked the next question. He answers 9 questions correctly and one question incorrectly, so all housemates will receive a message. 5.18pm It?s been 12 minutes since Kemal won the task. The housemates are watching their friends and family on the plasma screen. Anthony?s family are first. His Grandma and the rest of the family are all there to give Anthony a warm message. Anthony laughs and says, ?I?m glad to see grandma put her teeth in!? Craig?s mum and dad come up on the screen next. They tell him they are both very proud of him. His mum says, ?don?t worry about a thing, welove you no matter what. A mother?s love is unconditional and so is your dad?s.? On hearing the message, Craig cries and the rest of the housemates look visibly moved. Derek receives a message from his former teacher and her sisters, Eugene gets the chance to see his brother Greg and then Kemal?s parents tell Kemal that he is ?a part of the family?don?t worry about what you?re doing.? When he hears he?s still being accepted by his family and that they are still proud of him and there for him, he cries and Derek sheds a tear. Makosi is next. She sits excitedly waiting to hear a message from her sister but then her cousin appears on the screen. She is upset that her sister was not there and believes this means her sister does not approve of her antics within the house. Orlaith receives a message from her dad and sister next, then Science has a chance to see his dad talk briefly and then Vanessa?s family come on screen next. She cries and ask Makosi if she thinks her sister looks like her. Makosi responds, ?you?ve got resemblances but she?s prettier darling, sorry.? Craig and Anthony are outside. Craig says, ?I thought my mum seemed strange.? Anthony reassures him that it was ?a great message.? Meanwhile, Kemal is crying in the bedroom. Derek comes in and tells him, ?I just wanted to say how proud I am of you and your mother and father.? Kemal tells him, ?I didn?t think they?d do the video? and is relieved they are proud of him. 7.08pm Derek is in the pool. He says, ?it?s a funny old world. I can?t understand why I?m still here.? Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Craig is massaging Anthony?s foot. Makosi goes to the Diary Room. She says, ?I wanna go. I wanna go home. There?s no point in being ere if my sister doesn?t approve. There?s no point being here. If my sister is not happy, there?s no point me being here. I just wanna go home and say sorry and see her?.everyone at least had a dad, sister or mum.? 9.28pm Eugene and Kemal are in the bedroom. Science and Makosi are in the seating area. Derek goes to the Diary Room. He tells Big Brother how choosing between Maxwell and Science was like choosing between two bad eggs. Talking about Science, he says, ?he cheats and steals. He stole from me, he stole what was rightfully mine. There?s no honour amongst thieves?I don?t want to build bridges with Science. He has exceeded the mark once too often. I tried to help him and I failed.? 11.27pm Eugene, Craig , Derek and Anthony are doing impressions of each other in the living room. Makosi talks to Orlaith in the loft, ?I?m really upset, I?ve been away from my sister for 9 weeks. I?m grateful to my cousins but it would be a million times better if my sister did it. I?m not looking forward to dealing with things when I leave.? 1.01am Derek and Eugene are in the living room. Craig and Anthony have joined Orlaith and Makosi in the loft Craig, Anthony, Orlaith and Makosi are in the loft. Craig apologises for adding Stella to the list. He said it was a schoolboy error. He intended to give the beer to Maxwell. The four of them laugh when Craig realises he unintentionally took the bran flakes off the list.

Day 45: (10/07/2005 - Sunday)

Big Brother tells the housemates they will be told 2 lies this week?but what are they? The housemates learn that nominations will be optional this week?could Big Brother be lying? The housemates pass their latest task and are rewarded with a Chinese takeaway Day 45 ? Sunday 10 July 2005 9.32am Most of the housemates are asleep. Science is cleaning the house. This morning?s alarm sounds. 9.56am Craig, Anthony, Kemal and Science are in the bedroom. Derek, Eugene and Makosi are in the garden talking about Science and how he?s changed and behaving towards them. Derek says, ?princess, we?ve had this dozens of times ?when you?ve tried your best and done it repeatedly you have to begin to put your own feelings 1st and you have to admit you?ve failed and move on.? 12.02pm Kemal is in bed. Orlaith, Vanessa and Anthony are in the garden. Makosi walks into the garden with the water hose and threatens to spray everyone. ?I?d take your microphone off if I was you. Craig, take your mic off?? He refuses to take theirs off so Makosi sprays Vanessa. Orlaith tells the others, ?I?m not getting any more wet because I hate it.? 12.45pm Science is in the kitchen. Most of the housemates are in the garden. Suddenly a doorbell rings. Kemal shouts, ?wht the f**k was that?? Makosi answers, ?there?s someone at the door.? Science runs over to the door to find a note. He gathers them all in the bedroom bedroom and reads out, ?housemates, this week Big Brother will lie to you twice. You guys are amazing x x? Science says, ?whatever happens we?ll have to keep our eyes open this week, be vigilant.? 1.21pm Vanessa and Makosi are in the loft talking about Derek. Vanessa says, ?I?ve absolutely had enough of Derek trying to influence my vote. He?s just making me dislike him more than anyone else.? Orlaith and Science are in the kitchen and Science is rapping out loud. Orlaith asks him ?Science, have you got a girlfriend outside?? He replies, ?no, I?ve got lady like acquaintances?three that stand out most?? 1.30pm Derek, Eugene, Orlaith and Anthony are in the garden. Eugene tells the others, ?I think me and my parents might go to Wales. I haven?t been for a while.? Vanessa and Science are eating at the dining table. They are talking about Derek. Vanessa tells Science she thinks Derek is trying to influence her vote and she is considering telling Big Brother. 3.01pm Some of the housemates are in the bedroom. Science is reading the note from Big Brother again and they are all trying to work out what it means. Kemal tells them, ?everything is explained in that letter.? The rest of the housemates are in the garden. Anthony is dunking Craig in the pool and then starts showing Craig some of his dance moves. 3.33pm All the housemates are in the living room. Big Brother has given them a cleaning task and if they complete the task and Big Brother is satisfied with their work, they will be rewarded. Kemal tells the others, ?remember cleanliness is next to godliness.? Big Brother as given them overalls to wear while they clean. Orlaith wears only her bikini bottoms and an apron. All the housemates wonder whether this is one of Big Brother?s lies. 5.02pm Eugene, Orlaith, Makosi and Craig are chatting. Orlaith says, ?we?d better get a Chinese takeaway for this?but I think it?s a lie.? Makosi says, ?you?re actually going to believe them when they tell a lie.? Derek is in the Diary Room. He is talking about the different groups of housemates and how they are like an army with ?Makosi?s merry band? and ?Maxwell?s army?. He says, ?It?s kind of like watching an army being depleted. Maxwell?s army looked defeated.? He then continues, ?it?s clear Science doesn?t have any leadership qualities. He?s sniffing around Maxwell?s army trying to be their leader and they?re looking him up and down to see if he has the qualities.? 6.35pm Anthony, Craig and Science are in the garden. Vanessa and Makosi are in the loft talking about Orlaith. Vanessa says, ?she doesn?t want to be friends with both of us at the same time. Three?s a crowd.? Makosi says, ?she?s not doing herself any favours.? She then continues to talk about a conversation she had with Orlaith, ?I know Science is a p***k but no-one has the right to say either he goes or I go.? Orlaith then enters the loft and Vanessa is really friendly to her, asking how she is and telling her how nice her hair and tan are, ?your tan is gorgeous and your hair?s gone a really nice colour.? The three of them then discuss Derek and how they believe he?s not as posh as he appears, especially as they believe his clothes do not look as posh as they think they should be. ?He?s very clever but I doubt everything he tells me. His clothes don?t say much to me.? 8.05pm The housemates have successfully completed their cleaning task and have been rewarded with a Chinese takeaway. Makosi screams when she sees what they have received. Anthony tells the others, ?ding, dong, me and this Chinese are going to get it on.? 9.55pm Derek and Eugene are in the kitchen. Derek sings, ?I?m coming out? and Eugene starts a conversation about Diana Ross. Makosi, Kemal , Vanessa and Orlaith are in the bedroom. Eugene, Anthony, Craig and Science are in the pool. Craig tells Anthony, ?I think you were picked for me.? Anthony says, ?you can?t say that you dirty b*stard.? Craig then flirts with Anthony some moreand Anthony tells Craig he?s surprised that Craig?s the guy he?s closest to in the house because he didn?t like him when he first came into the house. 11.26pm Earlier today, Big Brother told the housemates that they will be told 2 lies this week. The housemates receive a message from Big Brother telling them that this week nominations are optional and they will be able to nominate between 6am and 9am tomorrow morning. Big Brother will not accept nominations outside these times. The housemates all discuss what they should do and whether this is one of Big Brother?s lies. They contemplate whether nominating will automatically put them up for eviction and Craig and Anthony agree that they will nominate. 11.39pm It?s 13 minute since the housemates found out that nominations will be optional tomorrow. Anthony and Craig are still discussing it. In the bedroom, the other housemates are also discussing the optional nominations. Kemal says, ?to nominate or not to nominate, that is the question.? Derek starts giving his opinion on the situation when Makosi interrupts. This annoys Derek. Derek then continues, ?I think it?s up to the British public to decide?I put my trust in G-d? and concludes that he won?t be nominating this week. 12.56am Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Craig and Anthony are in the Living Room talking about Eugene. They both agree that they won?t be meeting up with him outside the house. Craig then adds that he and Lesley used to think Anthony was gay. In the bedroom, Vanessa and Makosi are talking about the nominations. Vanessa says, ?If you nominate, I?ll nominate, whatever happens.? She then kisses her. Elsewhere Craig and Anthony discuss that they believe neither Vanessa nor Makosi will make nominations tomorrow.

Day 46: (11/07/2005 - Monday)

The housemates nominate Anthony?s dig for treasure is a success Kemal questions his friendship with Makosi. Day 46 ? Monday 11 July 2005 ***NOMINATIONS*** 9.26am Last night, Big Brother told the housemates that the Diary Room would be open from 6-9am for optional nominations. The housemates are discussing the nominations process and Derek says he thinks the public should vote each week to decide who goes up for eviction. Craig can?t understand why people would get up but not then nominate, saying that he nominated to get the numbers down. He adds ??never be able to work Big Brother out, not in a million years.? 11.08am Derek and Eugene are in the garden sunbathing. Kemal has been in bed with a tummy bug since yesterday. Kemal, Makosi and Science are in the bedroom talking about the house being dirty. Kemal thinks his being ill may have something to do with the dishes not being washed properly and talks about giving the housemates a lesson in how to wash up. 11.39am Science and Kemal are in the bedroom talking about the shopping list. The housemates have devised a house rule that those up for eviction should not take part in the shopping list. Science asks what happens if everyone is up for nomination. Kemal tells him it would then be designated. Makosi, Orlaith and Vanessa are in the loft talking about Kemal. Makosi says ?today, I confronted him about the dishes. You want to teach but you never seem to do.? Orlaith says that Kemal has changed since he saw his parent?s home video message. Makosi agrees that he changes his story as he?d made his mum out to be a psychopath but that she came across as lovely and caring on the video. ?He can?t dramatise his exit anymore.? she adds also saying that he?s been in bed ever since and hasn?t bother with his stilletoes or make up. Makosi also thinks that those people who got up this morning to nominate where wasting their time. 1.32pm Kemal is still in bed. Derek is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother about Wimbledon, saying that he believes it starts this week. ?Anxious about Wimbledon starting today. If there?s anybody out there sympathetic to my plight? not a freeman. So if someone somewhere can record as much as they can of it for me.? Craig and Anthony are in the living room talking about staying in the house. Craig says he wouldn?t want to stay in the house with the people that are in there. He says he doesn?t trust Eugene saying that he was deliberately the first person to go in to the diary room and he doesn?t believe Eugene just went in there for a chat. 3.30pm Anthony and Craig are in the garden throwing sun tan lotion at each other. Orlaith and Vanessa are in the loft talking about how Eugene is changing. Vanessa says ?he hangs around with Derek, knows what he?s doing. Not going to let this bother me.? Kemal is in the Diary Room talking about Makosi and questioning whether she is pregnant. ?So hurt if she?s not. Will be one step too far but if she is I?ll be there for her?. suspicious of everything. Makosi says she doesn?t want to discuss being an actress, spy, secret worker for Big Brother. She says she doesn?t want to spoil my time here. ? 6.26pm Big Brother has set the housemates a task in which they must find a hidden treasure chest somewhere in the house. They have been given a shovel, mirror on a stick and a magnifying glass to help in their search. 20 minutes have passed and the housemates are still no nearer finding the chest. Some of them don?t believe that it exists and so Big Brother plays the hot cold game to help in their quest. Science says it is fool?s gold. Big Brother tells Anthony he?s hot and that Science is very hot. Anthony starts digging where Science was standing. 7.24pm The housemates have been looking for the treasure for the past 31 minutes. Only Science, Anthony and Eugene are still digging. Derek is watching from the pool. Craig and Vanessa are in the kitchen cooking and talking about the task. Craig is saying ?would stick with it but obviously have to cook tea.? In the garden, Anthony is still digging and finally hits the buried treasure chest. He runs through the house holding it above him, as Science follows him into the Diary Room. He says to Big Brother that determination, persistence and commitment have paid off. Science says he didn?t think there was any treasure. Big Brother asks Anthony to hold the chest up and says that inside they will find a key to open the storeroom door for their reward. Big Brother rewards the housemates with 2 jugs of Pimms and some ice cream. Science thanks the Big Guy and says ?It?s Pimms juice.? 8.15pm Craig, Anthony and Eugene are in the garden. Anthony points the magnifying glass out to Craig and suggests he uses it if he wants a w**k. In the bedroom, Derek is telling Kemal how delighted he is to have met Eugene, Roberto and Kemal. He says that Kemal?s coming to terms with his sexuality throws him back to his roots and serves as a reminder of how different it was. They discuss Anthony?s sexuality, saying he doesn?t make eye contact with them and that ?By the time he?s 30, we?ll meet him in a gay bar. They discuss how Craig and Anthony held hands during the task. 11.09pm Craig and Anthony are in the loft. In the bedroom Orlaith, Makosi and Vanessa are singing. Anthony hears them and makes his way into the bedroom to laugh at them. They accuse him of taking the piss out of them and say he deserves a pillow fight. The girls walk across the kitchen with their pillows behind their back and start chasing him around the house. He runs into the garden, gets the hosepipe and starts spraying them with water.

Day 47: (12/07/2005 - Tuesday)

Housemates are shocked by this week?s nominations The housemates recreate the Miss Beauty Pageant Big Brother Games go into action Day 47 ? Tuesday 12 July 2005 10.26am Derek is the first housemate up and has been cleaning the kitchen for the past 1 hour 15 minutes. He is talking aloud about how fed up he feels, particularly about the mind games going on in the house. Most of the housemates are in the bedroom talking about what TV channels they would be. They decide that Kemal would be a fashion-based channel called Diva TV and Orlaith would be the Pink Ladies TV, a porn channel. Derek has gone to the Diary Room to talk to about how he tired he feels and it?s time for him to go. He doesn?t admire or like many of his fellow housemates, especially about how vacuous they are, only concerned with beauty and how they dress up to even go to the toilet. He believes they are hiding themselves and says he is beginning to hate being in the house but has only himself to blame for being there. Big Brother asks him what he likes about being in the house and he says he enjoys talking to Eugene. Crying, he wails that he wants to go home. 11.07am This week Big Brother has turned the garden into a sporting arena for the housemates to stage the Big Brother Games. Each housemate will take part in one of 4 events. To win the task and the luxury food budget they must accumulate 50 points. If they fail, they will have just ?1 per person per day to spend on food Big Brother calls the housemates to the dining room and asks for one of them to go through to the Diary Room. The gathered housemates watch the plasma screen as Science sits in the Diary Room and matches ping pong balls to decide who will be doing what event. Eugene and Vanessa will do the trampolining event. Anthony and Craig will take part in the cycling event, while Makosi and Derek will be doing rhythmic gymnastics and Science and Orlaith will take part in synchronised swimming. As Kemal has been ill with a tummy bug he is excused from taking part in an event but will commentate instead. 12.07pm Kemal is alone in the bedroom. The rest of the housemates are in the garden. Derek is teaching Science how to float in the pool. Anthony is telling Craig how to cycle round the track ?Best not to peddle into the corner just glide? Craig complains the ground isn?t even and has a tantrum telling Anthony to ?f**k off. You F**king tart Boy?. Anthony tells him not to shout at him over a flipping bike task. 2.07pm Craig and Anthony are playing in the pool. Derek is talking to Eugene about how he feels towards the other housemates. He says ?I get this angry feeling. Something like the feeling a man gets before murdering someone. ? He talks about how annoying he finds Vanessa and her continual eating and how it is slowly driving him mad. He also digs at Orlaith about how much make up she puts on and how many times she looks in the mirror. Eugene laughs as Derek say ?Damn, damn, damn.? 2.27pm Science is in the kitchen and nearly cuts his finger ?almost cut off finger, need these babies.? Kemal is resting in bed. Derek is talking to the psychologist in the Diary Room. In the garden, Anthony and Craig are lying next to each other on a duvet while talking to Eugene about cars. They have a bitch at each other as Eugene carries on talking. Anthony accuses Craig of being snappy telling him ? Let me know when you?ve finished your period. ? 3.31pm Most of the housemates are in the garden talking about man points. Science is telling Craig that he?s not top dog but Craig replies there were only 2 men in the house, him and Maxwell. Anthony says he can show emotion but Craig tells him ?no, you can?t, you f**king vulcan?. Craig asks Orlaith who the best kisser in the house is and she says him. Anthony tells her that her breath stinks and she says bring it on. Science ends the conversation with ?I?m top of the man points.? 3.48pm Anthony and Science are arm wrestling in the garden. Kemal is in the Diary Room. In his role as commentator he must learn 3 national anthems. After being played ?Flower of Scotland? he says ?that one is so nice, won?t be able to do it.? In the garden, Craig is now arm wrestling with Science. Anthony is spurring him on and says ?don?t give up, who wants it more.? Science wins. Makosi, Vanessa and Orlaith are in the living room talking about people being fake in the house. Makosi says she?s ? ?becoming more and more angered by Kemal. He?s going to lose it.? Vanessa agrees that Kemal is insecure, wanting to be the centre of attention and gets upset when he?s not. Makosi says ?His parents have taken away our sympathy.? Eugene joins the group and they all fall silent. 5.04pm The housemates are in the living room waiting to hear nominations. 2 days ago, Big Brother told the housemates there would be 2 lies to the house. The first lie was that nominations were optional. Big Brother nominations are always compulsory. By not nominating, Makosi, Science, Derek, Vanessa, Orlaith and Eugene are automatically up for the public vote. However, Big Brother announced to the house that Anthony, Craig and Kemal face eviction ? this is the second and final lie. Eugene says ?that?s an interesting one?. Science accuses Kemal of lying about not nominating. Craig says he knew Big Brother would do that. Derek says it could have been the house?s chance to unite against Big Brother. 5.34pm Craig and Anthony are in the garden talking about the nominations. Craig says ?If I go I don?t care but would miss the experience and you.? Anthony says ?what am I going to do if you go?? Derek, Makosi and Vanessa are talking about Kemal nominating and how dishonest he is. Vanessa says he was shocked and now in the Diary Room explaining to Big Brother. In the Diary Room, Kemal is saying ?you punked us but it gives us excitement. I?m not a sheep. I am myself. This is what you get. A lot of people in here are uncomfortable with who they are. They think I?m the odd, man boy, boy girl thing.? 7.40pm Most of the housemates are in the garden practising their events. Craig and Anthony are competing round the cycle track. Eugene is keeping track of their circuits. Craig falls off and Anthony ask if he?s ok. Makosi and Vanessa are in the bedroom talking about the shock nominations. Vanessa says she loves it because it spices things up in the house. They laugh about who will be leaving the house. 8.26pm Makosi, Orlaith and Vanessa are in the loft saying how sly they think Derek and Craig are. In the living room, Derek and Craig are talking about who will go. Derek tells Craig that he thinks he?ll be alright and it will be between Kemal and Anthony. Craig says he hopes Anthony stays as he?s a ?good, honest bloke? even though Derek has had his differences with Anthony. Derek says they haven?t really had differences more of reciprocal stuffiness. He tells Craig ?you?re good on it, can bring out what he?s surpressing.? Craig says Anthony?s good for him ?definitely best mate I the house, I?ll see him when I come out and go drinking with him?. Derek tells him they can build a home together. 10.22pm Craig, Anthony and Vanessa are in the pool. Anthony is playing around Craig and Vanessa says ?it looks like you?re giving him a blow job?. ?I wish? says Craig. Anthony starts lifting Craig up in the pool creating waves. Eugene notes ?that was impressive, better than the wave machine at Butlins?. Craig says ?next time, take your shorts off.? Anthony calls him a dirty bastard. 11.42pm The housemates recreate the Beauty Pageant. They have spent the past 43 minutes getting ready. Eugene and Science do the running commentary as the housemate parade around the sports track in their finery. 12.16am The housemates have moved inside the singing round of the Beauty Pageant. 12.29am After 5 minutes of deliberation, judges Science and Eugene announce the contest results. Miss Africa (Makosi) is given 3rd place and Miss Portugal (Vanessa) second place. Eugene says it is a controversial decision but to avoid WW3 they have chose Miss Russia (Craig) to be crowned Big Brother Miss World 2005. Kemal storms the stage in protest. 1.47am Most of the housemates are asleep. Craig, Anthony and Makosi are in the living room. Makosi asks Anthony if he thinks he is going. He tells her ?honest truth, I don?t know. 3 strong contestants up this week, can?t call it especially after the last result.? Makosi says that as God is her witness she doesn?t think Anthony will go but it will be Kemal who leaves on Friday. She tells Anthony that he?s going to find out a lot of things about her when he leaves and the reason why she spends 10 hours a day in the Diary Room. She adds ?You?ll look back and think how did she do that??

Day 48: (13/07/2005 - Wednesday)

Day 48 ? Wednesday 13 July 2005 11.54am The housemates have been told that Big Brother will lie to them twice this week and what they don?t know is that Derek, Eugene, Makosi, Vanessa, Science and Orlaith face eviction this week, instead of Anthony, Craig and Kemal as announced by Big Brother in the second of this week?s lies. Makosi and Vanessa are in the loft talking about who they think is going to leave this week. Makosi talks about Kemal and says, ?he?s trying to make a comeback but if he was not up for nomination this week, he?d be in bed.? Vanessa agrees. Kemal and Orlaith are talking. He tells her, ?I still don?t feel nominated to be up for eviction by you guys. I?m nervous for Friday. I?m nervous about how my exit is going to be. Before I came in here I thought long and hard about my entrance and exit and I?m not prepared for my exit yet.? 1.14pm Most of the housemates are in the pool. Anthony is dunking Craig in the pool. Vanessa, Orlaith, Makosi are talking in the loft about how they think Anthony is gay because he and Craig are always touching each other. Science is arguing with the other boys in the pool about who has go more manpoints. Makosi, Vanessa and Orlaith then comment to each other that they think Kemal is being a man at the moment. 2.55pm Orlaith is in the Diary Room. She says, ?Kemal is acting out his sickness. He can?t be honest about things. It?s weird. The house is weird.? All the housemates are in the living room discussing nominations. They all agree that Kemal should have admitted he nominated on Monday. Vanessa tells him he?s ?really sneaky.? Craig then adds that he?s pleased Kemal is up for eviction because, ?you?ve given me and my closest friend the chance to survive.? Kemal then explains, ?I had to nominate that day and when you get out you?ll see why.? 3.54pm Orlaith, Anthony, Craig and Science are in the living room. Makosi and Vanessa are in the garden. Vanessa says, ?it does make wonder what he says about us.? Kemal goes to the Diary Room. He tells Big Brother, ?nobody understands what?s going on. They think Kemal lied?betrayed?cheated?that is not me?I had to nominate Makosi this week to find out?they haven?t reacted well. If Makosi wants to discuss it then fine. One day they?re going to thank me. Makosi is not who you think she is. Be careful.? 5.14pm big Brother has gathered the housemates in the garden for the Big Brother Games task. If they win the task, they will be rewarded with a luxury budget. Kemal is singing ?Flower of Scotland? during the opening ceremony. When he finishes he tells the others, ?good luck you guys.? He begins to commentate, ?the cyclists, seen here in yellow and black lycra?? Craig takes his position. He must complete 10 laps in 2 minutes. Once they?ve finished, Anthony tells Craig, ?you false started.? The rhythmic gymnasts then take they?re places. ?It?s Raining Men? plays out and they complete their synchronised gymnastic moves. After they?re finished, Kemal asks, ?are you confident,? and Derek responds, ?I hope so, we deserve to win.? Next up are Orlaith and Science in the synchronised swimming event. James Blunt?s ?Beautiful? plays out and they complete their moves. Eugene and Vanessa then take their places on the trampolines but don?t trampoline completely in-sync with each other. Eugene?s trampoline breaks slightly and Anthony laughs hysterically. 5.44pm Big Brother has gathered the housemates to announce the results. They are told that the cyclists have not received any points. Kemal then commentates, ?a difficult result.? Craig adds, ?f**k sake. We were f**king doing it for nothing. Big Brother can kiss my f**king ass.? Anthony tells him, ?you came on too early, you failed.? They learn that they have failed the task. Makosi tells the others, ?well done sportsmen.? Craig and Science argue and Vanessa says, ?we tried our best.? Craig brings their fail up again and Anthony says, ?stop going on man? and adds that he still believes Craig failed their part of the task. Craig walks away saying, ?I?m sick of this f**king sh*t hole.? 9.08pm Orlaith, Science, Vanessa and Eugene are in the kitchen. Yesterday Kemal threw cutlery in the bin. Kemal and Science have been arguing for 16 minutes. Science says, ?he?s trying to wind me up.? Anthony and Makosi are in the garden. Anthony tells her, ?I think Kemal?s getting a rough time.? Kemal joins them and says, ?because I accidentally threw cutlery out I was asked if I wanted to bring it back and I brought it back.? Anthony tells him to chill and Kemal continues, ?I am calm. That guy is just on a different planet?? He turns to Science and says, ?just ?cause you?ve survived one eviction.? 9.15pm It?s been six minutes since Science and Kemal?s argument. Craig is trying to calm Science down. Orlaith, Makosi and Vanessa are in the loft talking about Kemal. Makosi says, ?he?s just responded to the nominations the same way Science responded last week.? Kemal walks into the loft. Makosi comments to them all that she thinks the dynamics in the house have changed. She turns to Kemal and says, ?I feel you are isolating yourself.? Kemal responds, ?I?m going through a lot. I?ve got lots on my mind. I was disappointed in you three. You just hugged each other and were saying ?phew?.? Orlaith adds, ?friends can be very very bitchy. My best friends once sogged my boyfriend. There?s a big prize here but everyone?s out for themselves at the end of the day.? Makosi doesn?t agree. ?I said if I go this week I go this week. You can play the game but still have friends. I will not say I want to win over Vanessa, Kemal or even you. When people are playing games, that?s when sh*t happens.? Vanessa then hugs Kemal and tells him he?d better have a good reason for her to learn about when she gets out. 10.22pm Craig, Anthony and Science are in the living room. They all discuss how the others are playing games. Science adds, ?Maloko?s just a bit dodgy sometimes.? Vanessa and Makosi are still talking in the loft. Vanessa says, ?maybe we should have hugged him (after he heard the nomination announcement). He?s probably feeling so down right now.? Makosi calls him into the loft and tells Vanessa, ?he?s let me down with a lot of things but I still loe him.? Makosi tells Kemal, ?we?ve questioned our friendship. No matter what you did for whatever reason, I love you.? 11.05pm Craig and Anthony are in the Diary room. As Craig tells Big Brother, ?I was horrid to Anthony,? he strokes Anthony and Anthony puts his leg over Craig?s legs. Vanessa and Orlaith are in the living exercising. Orlaith tells Vanessa they have to exercise more because the TV adds 10 pounds. Vanessa agrees and says everyone will think they?ve lost weight when they leave because they?ll look 10 pounds less. Kemal and Makosi are hugging in the loft. Makosi tells him, ?I was scared I?d lost you.? Kemal adds, ?I sat in the Diary Room saying how much I love and respect you. My aim is to re-establish Kemal, Makosi and Vanessa, not with Orlaith.? Makosi then says, ?she?s trying toturn things around. She?s come in here and pushed Vanessa to exercise all the time.? Kemal adds, ?if I?m here another week I?ve got my eyes on her.? Makosiasks, ?do you want to see a real cat fight in here?? Kemal responds, ?just rip her peroxide blonde hair.? Makosi concludes, ?madame is just trying to take over in here. At the end of the day, I?e got my big eyes on her. I?m so watching her??

Day 49: (14/07/2005 - Thursday)

Following Big Brother?s two lies this week, DEREK, EUGENE, ORLAITH, MAKOSI, SCIENCE and VANESSA face eviction tomorrow, but who will the public choose to face the housemates? vote? The housemates speculate about what Big Brother is up to and which housemates are really facing eviction Derek and Kemal are convinced Makosi is a mole Orlaith becomes the hot topic of conversation in the house?and she knows it Day 49 ? Thursday 14 July 2005 2.22pm Kemal and Derek are discussing the fact that they think Makosi is a mole. Kemal says, ?if I go, don?t let that go and keep it at the back of your mind.? Derek tells Kemal he?ll keep his eyes open because he?s a bit of a ?Miss Marple.? Kemal concludes, ?I want to talk to you so badly but I can?t. Makosi goes to the Diary Room. She talks to Big Brother about Kemal, ?he still thinks I?m an actress but it?s not my place to explain it to him.? She then continues, ?he?s arrogant, that?s disgusting. If he? to go it?ll be interesting to see what this place is like without Kemal.? Big Brother then asks who she wants to stay, ?Anthony, not because I want to do anything with him, I just like having him here. He?s a lovely person. He?s not going to use cheap cards to stay?Kemal is my friend. I?m not backstabbing but I don?t think this place is good for him.? She then makes an appeal to the country, ?if you?re watching England, keep Anthony here.? 2.41pm Craig, Science and Anthony are in the garden. Craig is telling them that ?Father of The Bride is the funniest film ever.? Orlaith and Vanessa are in the kitchen. Eugene, Derek and Kemal are in the seating area speculating about tomorrow night?s eviction. Derek doesn?t believe the housemates they have been told are facing eviction, really are. Eugene says, ?hypothesis. What if 3 people are up for eviction because 2 people are leaving?? Kemal adds, ?nominations weren?t a lie.? Derek says, ?I think of the lies is that 3 people are up but in fact all of us are.? 5.24pm Vanessa and Makosi are chatting in bed. Makosi says, ?that could be a lie, nominations. We could be up, the 6 of us.? Vanessa disagrees, ?I just don?t think they?d mess with us like that.? Derek says, ?there are too many people here.? Craig and Anthony are talking about how nervous they are about the eviction. Anthony says, ?I don?t know why but I?m quite excited.? Craig asks, ?what will you do if you go?? Anthony replies, ?shake your hand.? Not satisfied with his answer, Craig asks, ?is that all?? Anthony replies, ?I?ll give you a manly cuddle?me main priority is to stay but I want you to stay too.? Derek tells them, ?whoever stays, I?ll take under my right wing.? 8.07pm Derek, Craig and Anthony are in the garden. Craig is massaging Anthony. Derek tells Craig, ?it?s even better if you rub it on his actual body a bit faster.? Vanessa and Kemal are bitching about Orlaith. Vanessa says she doesn?t mean to hurt people but can?t help saying stupid things. Kemal admits he finds it hard to talk to Vanessa with Orlaith around. Vanessa says she can?t be trusted. Orlaith talks to Big Brother about the backstabbing household. She claims all the characters are working for themselves and they all want to win or stay until the end. She says the house can get too much and housemates get silly over small things. She says nobody could be described as ?nice? and she doesn?t have a close bond with any of them. She says she knows Makosi and Kemal are talking about her. She becomes tearful and says the experience is stressful. 12.17am Derek, Craig and Anthony are in the Living Room. The rest of the housemates are in the bedroom. Craig and Anthony are in the Diary Room. Craig says Anthony is one of the nicest people he?s ever met and cares for him like a true friend. Anthony asks Big Brother if he can feel the love in the room. Big Brother says he really can. Anthony suggests they have a ?macho) cuddle.? Makosi wonders what would happen if Davina calls one of their names on Friday. Kemal says Craig is convinced something is happening. Makosi says they?re all up but Vanessa thinks otherwise and says it will be too hard leaving with out the preparation. 1.12am Anthony, Science and Derek are in the living room. Most of the other housemates are in the bedroom. Craig says the beds are possessed and maybe that?s why he sleep talks. The evil spirit in the house would also account for the food going off quickly. Kemal says h thinks this could be why he?s ill. 1.41am It?s been 29 minutes since housemates were talking about ghosts. Kemal comes to the Diary Room to talk to Big Brother. Kemal talks to Big Brother. He says, ?hi baby doll? listen to me, I?m scared. I think I?ve been possessed by evil spirits all week. Are you doing something freaky??
