Day 36: (01/07/2005 - Friday)

Saskia is evicted from the Big Brother house While some housemates are happy with the eviction news, Maxwell is struggling to cope with his loss Orlaith has some intimate chats with the boys?is she stepping into Saskia?s empty shoes? Day 36 ? Friday 1 July 2005 10.42am Today will be the fifth eviction in the Big Brother house. Both Saskia and Maxwell face the public vote. Makosi, Orlaith and Derek are in the garden. Orlaith is telling Makosi that Saskia keeps saying that she and Maxwell are just friends, and what?s in a kiss? Makosi says that she feels sorry for Saskia and it is sad that she has taken her nomination in such a bad way. She hopes that Saskia will cope and says that it is ?a harsh world.? Orlaith says that Saskia is like a bloke because she is a slob and has everything done for her. Makosi says that she feels sorry for Maxwell. 11.18am Science has been sleeping in bed all morning. Big Brother calls him to the Diary Room. Most of the housemates are in the garden. Science stumbles to the Diary Room. Big Brother tells him that he is free to leave the Diary Room. Maxwell is telling Saskia that they don?t deserve to be up for eviction. Saskia says that more people will want her out of the house and tries to bet Maxwell a grand that she will be going. 11.44am Saskia is alone in the bedroom. Kemal, Derek and Eugene are in the garden, deciding on how to spend this week?s luxury food budget. Makosi, Orlaith and Maxwell are in the kitchen. Maxwell is trying to touch Saskia affectionately but she brushes him off and tells him to leave her alone. He calls her moody and asks, ?are you alright? What?s on your mind?? He tries to kiss her but she does not reciprocate. He tells her to keep her head up high and says that he is going to give her a pair of his pants to keep. He tells her that she is beautiful and to keep her chin up. Maxwell makes a comment to Orlaith about being in a house full of birds but Orlaith responds, ?I don?t see any wings? and that she hates being referred to as a bird. In the Diary Room Maxwell tells Big Brother that Saskia is adamant she is leaving the house. He says that he wants to woo her and take her out when he gets out of the house but that he will need lots of money because she is a kept woman and she deserves it. He says that if he leaves she will be holding his leg and he will drag her out with him. 12.11pm Kemal is in the Diary Room ordering this week?s shopping. The rest of the housemates are in the garden. Eugene is talking about washing things by hand rather than using a washing machine. He does not understand washing machines with all their different settings and tells a story about buying a washing machine when he was considering moving to Scotland. 12.35pm Eugene and Derek are in the pool. Saskia and Vanessa are in the bedroom. Vanessa ensures she and Saskia are alone before sitting down with Saskia to talk through their differences. She wants to understand why she and Saskia do not get on and asks her why she does not like her. She says that she is a very girly girl whereas Saskia is not but she respects her for telling people what she thinks of them to their face. Saskia asks if Vanessa dislikes her because she shouts in other people?s faces. Vanessa replies that she was scared when Saskia was screaming at Makosi because she thought she was going to knock her head off. Saskia admits that she was close to it and says that when she went in to the Diary Room she was trembling and she needed calming down. She adds that she does not get angry with people very often but when she does she loses it. Vanessa tells Saskia that they all thought she was using Maxwell. Saskia cannot understand why people think that and says that she really likes him and if ?he doesn?t f**k? her off in the house she would like to see him when they get out. Saskia thanks Vanessa for talking to her. They hug and Vanessa apologises for having called her a prostitute the other day. 2.22pm Derek and Eugene have been in the pool for 1hr and 47 minutes. Orlaith and Craig are by the Dining Table. Kemal, Makosi, and Vanessa are in the loft talking about Saskia. Craig says that when he goes out he will kiss anyone. Orlaith asks him which girls Anthony has kissed whilst he has been in the house and Craig tells her he has kissed all of the girls except Saskia. Makosi tells Kemal and Vanessa that the secret to surviving in the Big Brother house is to not be two-faced. She says that two-faced people are not normal and the public don?t like that. She commends Vanessa for going to talk to Saskia and says that she has taught them and all women a lesson. Vanessa says that she does not want to be Saskia?s friend. 3.57pm Maxwell and Saskia are in the showers. Some of the housemates are in the loft. Craig, Orlaith and Anthony are in the seating area. Anthony asks Orlaith if she snogs girls. Orlaith says that she has and that she came close to sleeping with a girl once but didn?t go through with it. She says she is attracted to girls and at one stage her dad asked her if she is a lesbian. Anthony asks Orlaith if she would have a threesome. She replies that it would depend on who the people involved are Anthony asks her if she fancies any of the girls in the house and she says she does not know them well enough to fancy them. Anthony then asks her if she has one-night-stands and what her thoughts are on them. Orlaith does, and says she has no problem with meeting a guy in a club and going home with him. Anthony tells her, ?you tick all the boxes? and Orlaith comments that sex is a fantastic thing but making love is even better. Craig adds, ?you can?t beat a good f**k.? 6.52pm Vanessa is in the Diary Room. For the past week, Big Brother has given Vanessa basic food rations as punishment for refusing to take part in last week?s task. For her final meal, Big Brother has provided her with lentils, peas, a boiled egg and a glass of milk. Eugene is at the seating area. Maxwell and Saskia are in the living room. The rest of the housemates are in the bedroom talking about Saskia. Kemal says that Saskia told him that she does not need a man to get her into magazines and she can do that anyway. Kemal says that she seems to think people will care about what she has been up to and bitches about what people could read in magazines in the future, ?Saskia goes for liposuction for the 7th time this week.? He says, ?why would anyone want to read about her? She?s so bland.? 7.50pm Most of the housemates are preparing for tonight?s eviction. Saskia is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. Saskia says she is feeling sick and ?absolutely sh**ting? herself about the eviction. She is more nervous than when she went into the house. She says that they all feel quite safe when they are in the house but she does not know what the next couple of months hold for her, even if she is a Z-list celebrity. She does not have any regrets, except perhaps a small incident underneath a duvet but she doesn?t really regret that. She says that she wanted to meet a tall guy who can make her laugh and that is the most important thing to her. She says that when she leaves she won?t be kissing everyone goodbye and blowing snot bubbles about them except for a certain few. 10.22pm Big Brother has gathered the housemates in the living room for this week?s eviction. When Davina announces Saskia?s name she is booed and Saskia comments on it. She hugs Craig and Maxwell. Eugene says, ?well done for getting this far.? She tells Maxwell she can?t wait until she sees him again. The housemates listen as Saskia leaves to a lot of boos. Maxwell grimaces whilst Orlaith grins and Derek winks at Kemal, Makosi and Orlaith. 11.06pm It has been 46 minutes since Saskia?s eviction. Craig is alone in the living room. Orlaith, Makosi, Kemal and Derek are by the front door. Anthony and Maxwell are in the garden. Derek comments that Saskia was the only housemate not to say goodbye to everybody before she left. Makosi comments that she thinks the booing was amazing. Kemal says that it was heavy boo-ing and justice always comes. Maxwell tells Anthony he is trying to remember how he felt when he first entered the Big Brother house. Anthony says that he is disappointed that Saskia has gone but they will still have fun. Maxwell says, ?that?s the end of any romance in the house? and Anthony calls him a ?selfish bastard? because he is not the only one with needs and why shouldn?t he get any action. 11.33pm Most of the housemates are in the kitchen. Anthony, Craig and Maxwell are in the living room. The rest of the housemates are in the seating area. Anthony talks about Saskia getting booed and asks ?what does it take to get a cheer?? Craig says that the British public love to hate people. Maxwell comments that ?they are all f**ked.? 1.37am Anthony, Craig and Maxwell are in the living room. Derek is in the Diary Room speaking to Big Brother. Anthony is sucking Craig?s fingers whilst Maxwell counts to see how long he can do it for. Derek tells Big Brother, ?the truth is that they hunted in a pack and you could be forgiven for thinking that it wasn?t a field sport activity but they hunted to draw blood.? He says that he does not enjoy evictions and he would rather go to a public execution. He is sad for whoever gets evicted. 2.00am Eugene is in the shower. Kemal and Derek are in the bedroom talking about Orlaith. Anthony, Maxwell, Orlaith and Science are at the seating area. Kemal and Derek have been whispering about Orlaith for 15 minutes. Kemal says that she has naturally come over to their side but she is finding it difficult because she actually likes Craig and Anthony. Anthony asks Orlaith if she would ever pleasure herself in the house. Orlaith asks ?how do you know that I haven?t already?? Maxwell says he knows that she hasn?t and she asks him how he could possibly know? Orlaith says she has been single for 8 months so she is an expert at it and also it is much easier for a girl to pleasure herself than it is for a boy. 3.15am Maxwell is sitting alone in the seating area. All the other housemates are in bed. He goes into the bedroom and walks over to Craig in bed who asks if he is alright. He looks gloomy and says he ?cannot stop thinking about her.? Craig tells him she will be there waiting to pick him up when he leaves the house.

Day 37: (02/07/2005 - Saturday)

The housemates are in tears over their latest task The housemates are treated to a luxury dinner Anthony kisses both Orlaith and Makosi?..again Craig is upset, but won?t tell anyone why Day 37 ? Saturday 2 July 2005 10.56am The housemates have been awake for 1 hour and 7 minutes. Last night Saskia was evicted. Maxwell wakes up and tells Anthony that he had a dream that Saskia had come back into the house. Derek and Eugene are in the pool talking about last night?s eviction. ?I told Big Brother that yes I was sad (for Saskia). A public execution would be better to witness.? Says Derek. ?The booing was harsh.? Agrees Eugene. ?Why were they booing? That?s the question.? Says Derek. ?They don?t like dishonour, that?s why I put my faith in the public and when it?s my turn to face them I will have no qualms.? 11.33am The housemates have been set a task to see how in touch with their emotions they are. Big Brother will call each housemate to the Diary Room one by one. Once in the Diary Room the housemates will be provided with a pair of special goggles that will collect any tears that they shed. Big Brother will help ?demotivate? the housemates with sad music and stories in order to help them cry. Craig is the first to the Diary Room, while outside Kemal comments; ?This is the most stupid task I?ve ever heard of in my life.? 12.06pm Most of the housemates are in the seating area talking about what makes them cry. ?Something visual, like the Temptation of Christ.? Says Derek. In the living room Maxwell and Craig ask Anthony what makes him cry; ?When my Nan was is hospital.? He replies. At that moment the housemates are called inside because a plane is flying a banner overhead. The banner says; ?Derek For Tory Leader.? Maxwell is the only housemate to briefly see the message, but is reluctant to tell his fellow housemates what it said. ?I hope it?s nothing bad about anyone.? Says Anthony. 12.22pm Anthony and Craig are in the bedroom speculating about what the banner may have said. Meanwhile, Maxwell is in the Diary Room talking about what he thought he saw. ?I?ve just seen a banner in the sky and it shit me up a little bit. I?m sure the first word was death or something. What?s all that about?? Big Brother does not tell Maxwell what the banner actually said. 12.40pm In the bedroom Anthony is still musing about what the banner could?ve said. ?It?s nothing to worry about.? Makosi assures him. Talk turns to last night?s eviction with the housemates wondering why Saskia was boo?d by the crowd when she was cheered in week two. ?One week cheers, one week boos. This place is seasonal. Best thing to be is true to yourself because emotions change like that in this country.? Says Makosi of the public?s opinions of them. 1.03pm Anthony, Craig and Maxwell are in the garden playing ?throw the gnome? while Makosi, Kemal, Derek and Orlaith are in the bedroom talking about them. ?I do not want to be part of their party.? Says Makosi. ?Friday was a strong message from the people saying they do not like cheats, liers and bullies.? Agrees Derek. In the Diary Room, Eugene is getting into the task. After crying over Big Brother?s demotivational music and sad stories, he sobs; ?I?m missing my friends, missing my work colleagues. It?s a great house, but there?s a lot missing. I don?t know what?s gonna happen with evictions and whether I am gonna be put up after just one week and whether I?m a tough enough character to stay. I just don?t know.? 1.18pm In the dining area, Science tells Eugene: ?I?m gonna try to stop swearing man. Swearing?s not good. I don?t swear in my household, do I ek, in front of my Mum? Are you mad?? In the Diary Room Big Brother tells Vanessa that her punishment is now over and she can eat with her fellow housemates from now on. ?Thank God for that.? She screams in delight. Meanwhile, Anthony, Maxwell and Craig are talking about Orlaith. ?I?ve stated to get the horn so much more since she?s been in here.? Anthony admits. ?She said she could be a lesbian.? Says Craig. ?No she isn?t.? Insists Anthony. ?Well then I?d just say I used to be a woman!? 4.08pm Maxwell, Craig and Anthony are in the living room watching Orlaith do her yoga moves in the garden. Derek is in the Diary Room for the task. He sobs when he hears ?Candle in the Wind.? 4.43pm Derek and Vanessa are in the kitchen. Maxwell, Craig, Orlaith and Anthony are in the living room discussing where they?d like to go on holiday. Then Maxwell asks Orlaith what she thinks of him. ?Nothing much really. Yous are good fun. I know a lot of guys like you. You like your beer and you like taking the piss. If I saw you in a bar back home I?d think you were just a lad and wouldn?t look twice at you.? ?Oh I?d be devastated.? Says a sarcastic Maxwell. 7.43pm In the bedroom Vanessa, Kemal and Makosi are talking about Orlaith. ?I never can trust her.? Says Vanessa. ?When she?s with them (Maxwell and Anthony) her tits are all over the place. I love Orlaith, we have got so much in common, it's spooky. But then she called two people ugly and told me she wants to be in Playboy. To me that says she [thinks] she's the fittest person here." 8.33pm For passing the task, the housemates have been rewarded with a luxury meal with champagne. They have all dressed up for the occasion. ?It?s like taking the staff out for their Christmas lunch.? Says Derek. 9.15pm Most of the housemates are in the seating area when Anthony offers to suck Kemal?s fingers if he gives him some of his cider. 9.57pm In the seating area, Kemal tells Eugene, Derek and Science; ?Anthony said he?d suck my fingers for cider. You?ve got to read between the lines. He?s not getting any female satisfaction!? Eugene and Derek are not convinced and laugh. Meanwhile, in the bathroom Anthony tells Craig and Maxwell; ?I?d do anything for cider.? Craig talks Anthony out of it saying; ?I?d do it for a laugh. He?d (Kemal) do it for other reasons. If you did that people outside would talk.? Anthony then tells Craig; ?I must think you?re alright because I never had a dude like you for a mate.? 10.22pm In the Diary Room, Vanessa, Makosi and Orlaith ask Big Brother for more music. They all say that they would like to snog someone tonight and Makosi says she?d like to snog Maxwell; ?If I don?t go for the kill now, I?ll never go. Because he?s so sexy. I?m sorry Saskia, but he?s so sexy.? 10.45pm Makosi is topless in the pool, but Maxwell refuses to join her. Vanessa, Anthony and Orlaith are also in the pool. Meanwhile, Craig is crying in the bedroom toilet. He goes outside to chat to Derek; ?I?ll learn one day Derek. I must have something on my face that says treat me like shit. I?m fed up with it. I really can?t deal with this experience any longer.? ?It?s just harmless fun.? Derek reassures him. ?They?re young, they don?t mean anything by it.? ?You don?t understand what I mean. I wish I could say?..? sobs Craig. ?Why? You really are much loved.? Derek comforts him. 11.10pm Anthony, Vanessa, Orlaith, Kemal and Makosi are in the pool when Anthony and Makosi share a passionate kiss. 11.39pm Eugene is telling Derek a story in the seating area. In the pool, Anthony kisses Orlaith while Craig watches on telling him he is a bad man because ?You go from woman to woman.? Orlaith then goes over to Craig, but he is distracted by Anthony kissing Makosi again. The housemates giggle and scream, but Anthony is quick to deny it was anything more than a kiss. 12.18am In the bedroom, Kemal whispers to Vanessa; ?Makosi has gone too far, I?m so glad I?ve got you in here.?

Day 38: (03/07/2005 - Sunday)

Makosi and Anthony face up to their pool action Big Brother turns the house into a holiday camp Craig struggles to deal with his feelings for Anthony Day 38 ? Sunday 3 July 2005 6.27am Most of the housemates are asleep. Makosi has been in bed for 5 hours, 42 minutes. Last night she shared an intimate encounter with Anthony in the pool. Unable to sleep, she goes through to the kitchen and starts washing up. Anthony also gets out of bed and joins her in the kitchen. He says ?Last night was mad, wasn?t it?? and adds that he can?t remember what happened. Makosi says ?good thing you don?t remember anything. Everyone else thinks we shagged but we didn?t.? Anthony says ?knew I didn?t have sex last night, oh my God. Do you think I made a pr**k of myself?? Makosi tells him no. 8.44am Makosi has gone back to bed. Craig and Anthony are in the living room talking about how Anthony snapped at Craig the night before. Anthony says ?want to go home? had a night on the drink? what an idiot.? Craig tells him ?been there, done it a million times. I was shocked, it was insane.? Anthony says again what an idiot he?s been. Craig adds ?what did I look like howling about it?? Anthony tells him ?you?ve got your feelings. Was I touching Orlaith as well?? Craig tells him he was, Anthony says ??have to laugh about it, otherwise I?d have a nervous breakdown?feel terrible.? Craig says ?me and Orlaith are no strangers to sex? thought you were fucking each other.? Anthony tells him he ?didn?t have sex with her? wish it didn?t happen.? 10.20am Makosi and Eugene are in the garden. Eugene asks her ??have you recovered after last night?? She says ?wish the ground would open up and swallow me? and gets up and goes into the bedroom to talk to Kemal. She asks ?Kemal, do you think I had sex with Anthony?? Kemal tells her ?not penetrative sex? adding she?s not stupid enough to do that. Science interrupts with ?if they?ve got a camera in the pool, you?re f**ked.? They then talk about Craig?s crying over Anthony and Science says it?s turning into a love triangle. Maxwell walks into the room and says to Makosi and Orlaith ?Anthony?s got morning glory, can you girls go and sort him out. Your mother?s will be so proud of you.? 10.40am Vanessa is in the Diary Room gossiping about the night before and what everyone was doing in the pool ?everyone kissing, Makosi and Orlaith were snogging then they got their tits out and were touching them, winding the guys up. Then Makosi kissed Anthony full on for ages. Orlaith started snogging Craig. I find it hilarious, love a bit of gossip.? 11.03pm Vanessa is exercising in the garden. Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Science is talking about women?s bodies being ?weapons of mass destruction?. Kemal is saying ?I was waiting for a fumble? but in here with a load of straight men and a grandpa. Eugene is frightened of me. Craig cries every time someone has sex.? By the pool, Eugene, Derek and Craig are talking about Anthony upsetting Craig. He says ?trust me to be in the thick of it. Still feel upset? I?m over it. Talking to Anthony this morning he can?t remember.? Derek says ?what did I tell you?? 1.22pm Derek is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. ??sexual discrimination by Big Brother. Everyone allowed to have fun here is straight. Outrageous (BB) hasn?t sent in someone big and strong to take me dancing. Craig, Kemal and Derek would yelp with sheer delight if an aphrodisiac walked through the front door.? Vanessa, Orlaith and Makosi are in the loft talking about Craig. Orlaith asks if he is gay, and says she only kissed him because she felt sorry for him. Makosi says he?s never been with a guy but definitely been with girl, just ?not found himself.? 3.06pm Big Brother has turned the house into a holiday camp for this week?s task. Sand and a beach hut have been put in, including a ?muscle beach? area. Big Brother asks for the wackiest, zaniest, craziest housemate to go to the Diary Room. Vanessa nominates herself and heads to the Diary Room where she is told she will be a holiday rep for the reminder of the task and asked to choose 2 housemates to also be holiday reps. She chooses Makosi and Orlaith and is given further instructions to read to the housemates. If the housemates pass this task, they will receive a luxury shopping budget. If they fail they will have to live off a daily food budget of ?1 per person per day. Vanessa reads the rules to the housemates which include that the reps must prepare all meals, plus wash and clean up and must wear their uniforms at all times. 3.30pm Big Brother has provided holiday rep uniforms for Orlaith, Vanessa and Makosi to wear. They are in the Diary Room complaining about the pink polo shirts, navy blazers, khaki shorts and sunglasses. Makosi says ?we can wear our bikinis? we?re begging you.? Vanessa adds this is ?not even a joke.? 4.49pm Derek is asleep in the living room. Kemal is by the front door chanting. Craig and Anthony are wrestling in the sand. Vanessa and Makosi are in the loft talking about last night. Vanessa asks ?are you ok about last night?? She tells Makosi that Orlaith only snogged Anthony to go one step further than her. Makosi tells her ?glad I got you?. Vanessa agrees saying ?you need a girl to watch your back.? Makosi says that Orlaith fancies Anthony, she just won?t admit to it and adds that he?s talented, just short. 7.08pm The reps are preparing the housemates dinner. Anthony tells Orlaith she can?t keep her eyes off him and asks her how tall she is. She tells him taller than him and he says ?didn?t realise they stacked s**t that high.? Orlaith tells him he didn?t say the same last night when he was sucking her nipples and he responds with it?s ?rude to talk with your mouth full.? 7.55pm Derek is in bed with a migraine. The rest of the housemates are eating their dinner when Big Brother calls a rep to the diary room. Orlaith goes and comes back with a violin and the instructions that she must entertain the housemates while they eat. Maxwell asks her to play Summer Holiday and they all start singing as Orlaith plays the same note. Most of the housemates are in the seating area when Anthony offers to suck Kemal?s fingers if he gives him some of his cider. 9.20pm Derek is still in bed with a migraine and therefore exempt from the task. The conga starts playing and the housemates join up to dance around the house. 10.27pm Eugene is telling Craig, Anthony and Maxwell how he liked having bonfires and also putting things in microwaves. In the Diary Room, Kemal is telling Big Brother how much he misses his family and friends and is scared about what life will be like outside the house. ?People tell me I?m brave in the way I look? was scared to walk down the streets of Liverpool in my heels. Never wanted to be normal? most unique in here?just because of the way I look. Scared of what awaits me? what it?s gonna be like. Where to stay? what to do with my life. What have I done?? 11.25pm Craig, Maxwell and Anthony are in the living room. As part of the week?s task, Orlaith as holiday rep has to provide food to the other housemates when requested. Maxwell has returned a plate of food to her saying he?s found a pubic hair in it, a blond one. She tells him she?s not a natural blond so it can?t be her. Makosi is in the diary room talking about Orlaith. ?She?s being competitive with me. Used to think I was Mama flirt but now I?m Sister Flirt.? She also talks about what happened between her and Anthony in the pool ?don?t know what happened between me and Anthony, can?t say, don?t feel safe to say it.? 1.55am Most of the housemates are asleep. Maxwell and Craig are talking about how Craig feels about Anthony. He says he?s getting over it but Maxwell says he?ll listen to him anytime he wants to talk about it.

Day 39: (04/07/2005 - Monday)

The housemates nominate for the sixth time Makosi turns to Kemal and Vanessa for advice Housemates parade in the Beauty Pageant Day 39 ? Monday 4 July 2005 10.19am Yesterday Big Brother converted the house into a holiday camp for the weekly task. If housemates pass the task, they will receive a luxury-shopping budget next week. If they fail, they will have to live on ?1 per head per day. Derek is the only housemate up. Every time the conga is played the housemates have 2 minutes to form a conga line and dance around the house until the music stops. Vanessa, Makosi and Orlaith are holiday reps, so must wear compulsory uniforms. The rest of the housemates are holidaymakers. The Conga wakes the housemates up. Orlaith, Makosi and Vanessa put their uniforms on and lead the train. Science is last to join the line. 11.26am Big Brother has gathered the housemates in the living room for this week?s nominations. This will be the first opportunity for Eugene and Orlaith to nominate. The two housemates with the most nominations will face the public vote. Housemates are called to the diary room in alphabetical order. This week Anthony is the first housemate to nominate. ***** NOMINATIONS ***** 3.29pm Maxwell, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Vanessa, Kemal and Makosi are in the loft. Makosi announces to Vanessa and Kemal that she has something to tell but they must promise not to repeat it. Kemal and Vanessa give her their word. Makosi says, ?I could be pregnant.? Kemal looks away and Vanessa squeals, ?I knew it! Have you told Big Brother? Do you want to be the headline every week?? Kemal clarifies, ?if you?re pregnant you?re having a baby.? They both hug her and smile. Makosi says she doesn?t want Anthony to know. Kemal asks what percentage out of 100 she?s likely to be pregnant, she replies, ?90 if not 100? I?m so stupid.? 4.20pm Maxwell, Craig & Anthony are in the living room. Craig massages Anthony and asks, ??is that ok?? 6.25pm As part of this week?s task Big Brother has asked the holiday reps, Makosi, Orlaith and Vanessa to organise a beauty pageant. The holidaymakers must tell the judges their hopes for life in the Big Brother house. After some deliberation, the judges announce the winners. The boys wait in line to be judged for the Booty Pageant. Eugene wears a red bikini showing his bum, Science announces ?If the future is then, this is now? I cant be bothered.? Craig asks for world peace and Derek wants to become the Jamaican Margaret Thatcher. Kemal promises to work with children and Maxwell (wearing a bikini) says he?ll go down the pub and get ?off his tits.? Anthony (wearing a bikini) explains he?s shallow, wants a Ferrari and loads of money 10.09pm Derek, Vanessa and Kemal are in the bedroom. Maxwell, Anthony, Orlaith and Craig are in the living room. Vanessa makes a comment about Eugene?s poo and says, ?I thought Saskia?s were bad.? In the Living Room, Maxwell asks Orlaith to leave so he can use the toilet and leave the door open. Orlaith assumes he?s joking but he isn?t. She leaves the room and Maxwell sits down on the toilet with the door open. 10.34pm Eugene is alone in the pool. Maxwell, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Derek, Kemal, Vanessa and Makosi are in the bedroom talking about Anthony Derek talks about Anthony, ?I?ve seen this behaviour before. A heterosexual man would want to be near Orlaith and he isn?t?. only on Saturday because he was drunk. He?s from the north of England, a backward place? in 10 years time he?ll have a boyfriend.? Makosi disagrees and says ?he?s introvert.? Derek responds, ?he?s introvert because he doesn?t know his sexuality? he?s comfortable with Craig because he?s also confused.? 11.04pm Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Orlaith and Science are in the kitchen, Orlaith is preparing fish fingers for Science. Maxwell spots 3 condoms next to Eugene and warns Craig to sleep with one eye open. In the kitchen Orlaith reluctantly prepares a meal for Science. He starts shouting, ?at the end of the day, I?ve looked after people for 6 weeks in the house?. you have to do it for 3 days.? Orlaith is annoyed at waiting 40 minutes for fish fingers to cook when the packet says 10. She offers Science mayonnaise and ketchup and asks how he?d like it. Derek advises her to ignore him, ?if you say one word, he?ll say 55?. He?s barking mad.?

Day 40: (05/07/2005 - Tuesday)

Makosi turns to Kemal for advice on her possible pregnancy The housemates fail their holiday task. Anthony and Maxwell play dirty Day 40 ? Tuesday 5 July 2005 10.10am Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Big Brother is playing the sound of building works into the room to get them out of bed. Eugene and Derek are in the garden. Yesterday, Makosi told Vanessa and Kemal she could be pregnant and is now in the Diary Room. Big Brother asks her how she feels and she replies ?I?m fine, gradually coming to terms with it. I?ll stay away from alcohol and people smoking? stupid girl. Paying for what I did, everyone makes mistakes.? 10.40am Today is the first day of the Group Task, which the housemates have already failed. Makosi is given instructions to read to the housemates who are gathered in the garden. She explains the 5* cleaning task to the group. Maxwell is laughing as she reads that the holiday reps must clean the toilets, make the beds and fold up all the clothes. He thanks Vanessa for nominating herself, Makosi and Orlaith as the holiday reps. Science tries to take his duvet out into the garden but is stopped by the housemates telling him they will fail the task if they are unable to make the beds. Makosi finds a pair of Saskia?s knickers in Maxwell?s bed. Orlaith says ?how sad? and Makosi adds ?pure disgusting?. 3.17pm Kemal and Makosi are in the bedroom talking about whether she is pregnant. Kemal tells her ?You?re gonna be fine. Trust me. Feeling you?re not.? Makosi replies ?I?ve taken? what if I am?? Kemal says ?then there?s something wrong with my feeling.? Maxwell, Anthony, Derek, Craig and Eugene are in the pool making a whirlpool. In the bedroom, Orlaith is talking to Makosi, Kemal and Vanessa about Maxwell. ?Who does he think he is?? Vanessa adds ?him and Saskia thought they were King and Queen of the house? Posh & Becks? Orlaith says ?he pisses me off, so disrespectful to girls, calls them birds.? Kemal says he?s a waste of time. Makosi questions why Maxwell has a pair of knickers under his pillow. The Conga is played into the house, a naked Kemal rushes to get his pants on as the housemates form a dancing line. 3.58pm Big Brother has called the housemates to the dining room table to tell them they have failed this week?s task and will therefore receive a basic food budget of ?1 per person per day. Kemal tells the girls they did really well. Orlaith, Vanessa and Makosi go to the Diary Room. Makosi pleads for another chance ?Give us a 1 day task. We can?t do budget.? Orlaith tells Big Brother that despite knowing they?d failed the task they were still told to clean the house. ?We were complete scrubbers? she says. Big Brother tells them the decision is final and there will be no extra task. They get undressed in the Diary Room and as they leave Orlaith mutters ?embarrassed myself by wearing uniform.? They walk past an appreciative Eugene, wearing only their underwear. 5.13pm Big Brother announces the results of the week?s nominations. Maxwell and Science are to face the public vote. Maxwell tells Science ?may the best man win.? Science replies ?yeah Man, likewise.? 5.20pm It?s been 6 minutes since nominations were announced to the housemates. Derek and Kemal are in the loft talking about it. Kemal says he didn?t think Science was shocked by being put up for eviction. Derek adds ?all of the boys will have voted for him.? In the bedroom, Makosi is talking to Vanessa and Orlaith and says ?Brilliant, Maxwell is going to be scared.? Maxwell is talking to Anthony and Craig in the living room ?want to get past him (Science). I?m the person he hates the most.? Science is alone in the kitchen. 6.11pm Science is in the Diary Room discussing nominations. ?People are looking guilty. Some pleased, some not. They got their satisfaction but it?s being replaced with guilt. Got to keep my mouth zipped.? 7.27pm In the living area, Orlaith is telling Maxwell, Anthony and Vanessa that she?s going to do a detox. Maxwell says ??it?s one of the Top 3 things I?m never gonna do.? Big Brother calls a housemate to the Diary Room. Eugene volunteers and is told that by doing so Big Brother is setting him a secret mission. He is to stay in the shadow and mimic the actions of the first housemate to talk to him as he leaves the diary room. He will forfeit the reward if any of the housemates are alerted to his secret mission. Eugene leaves the Diary Room and Makosi is the first housemate to speak to him. 8.03pm Science is skipping in the garden. The rest of the housemates are playing a quiz they have devised. Eugene has been mimicking Makosi?s every move for the past 35 minutes. She realises he is copying everything she says and does and asks if he?s been set a secret mission. Maxwell tells her she?s not supposed to find out and Eugene heads to the Diary Room to talk about failing his task ?shame she made such a big deal of it.? Eugene returns to the house and is consoled by the housemates. Kemal says ?we?re proud of you for trying your best.? Eugene tells them he?s fine and to get back on with the quiz. 9.09pm Orlaith, Anthony and Craig at the dining table talking about ear piercing. Anthony tells them it took his earrings out as he was ?getting asked if I was gay too many times.? Eugene and Maxwell are in the diary room talking about Eugene failing his task. Maxwell says ?this fellow is distraught, let him redeem himself.? Eugene then says he?s good at impersonating people and starts talking like Maxwell. Maxwell does an impression of Eugene in return. 12.29am Most of the housemates are asleep. Science is in the kitchen rapping. Kemal is in the Diary Room telling Big Brother how he has been chanting for Science and how he doesn?t want him to go. 1.41am Science is in the garden. Maxwell and Anthony are using the toilet brush holders to have a water fight. Science tells them it?s unhygienic and they?re throwing ?shitty water? around the house. Maxwell showers to get rid of the water and continues arguing with Science about it and telling him he cleaned the brush holder before they started throwing water ?You clean chickens, I clean toilet holders.?

Day 42 ? Thursday 7 July 2005 1.12pm Kemal and Derek are in the loft preparing a quiz. Most of the other housemates are at the seating area. Because housemates failed the task this week, the shopping budget is just ?1 per housemate, per day. The housemates have been doing the shopping list for 22 minutes. Maxwell says that he wants just one can of beer, he does not care what else he gets as long as he eats something but he wants a beer. Science tells him he is ?full of wank.? ? Maxwell asks Science if he got out of the wrong side of bed again this morning and tells him to push his bed up against the wall so it doesn?t happen again. Science calls him a Tweedle-twat. 2.19pm All the housemates are in the living room. Science comes to the diary room. The Housemate?s are playing the quiz with Derek and Kemal as the quiz-masters. Derek asks who was the founding father of the National Health Service and Maxwell answers ?Ben Dover.? Derek asks if that is his final answer and Anthony says ?F**k knows? is his final answer. In the Diary Room, Science tells Big Brother that he thinks he will be leaving the house tomorrow night but he would love to stay. If people in the house cannot see that he has a big heart then the world outside certainly won?t. The only person he would miss if he left the house would be ?Moloko? because she is balanced and he can have a proper conversation with her. He wouldn?t miss anybody else. When asked who deserves to stay, Science says ?ME!? but he thinks that the world doesn?t work that way. He says that Alfred the Great is on the front of a giro cheque and he must have achieved things in his time but he is Science the Great and he needs the chance. 3.15pm Eugene, Derek and Kemal are in the seating area. Orlaith and Makosi are in the garden. Maxwell is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. Maxwell tells Big Brother that he is excited and nervous and he does not want to go. He says that when Davina starts talking to them he will get really nervous and he wants to stay if only to get one over on his enemy, plus he doesn?t want to have to find a job next week. He doesn?t think that Science cares whether he is going or not. 7.04pm Craig, Maxwell and Anthony are in the living room. Most of the other housemates are in the bedroom. If housemates fall asleep during the daytime, Big Brother will sound the alarm until the relevant housemates wake up. Housemates have been asleep for 7 minutes. Big Brother plays the sound of a screaming baby into the house. Orlaith says it would be great to do a task where they have to look after a baby. Kemal storms into the Diary Room and shrieks ?PLEASE TURN OFF THE STUPID ALARM!? He yells that they have had to put up with cat, donkey and baby noises being played into the house and he wants to SLEEP for just 5 minutes. Makosi and Science are listening to Kemal screaming outside the Diary Room door and giggling. Kemal dementedly shouts ?I NEED MY SLEEP!? and rants on about it being enough to sleep in a house full of imbeciles who wrap themselves up as mummys with toilet paper. He yanks down his eyes and shrieks ?Look ay my bags!? 8.46pm Vanessa, Makosi, and Orlaith are in the bedroom. The rest of the housemates are at the dining table. As a treat Big Brother has promised to give the housemates alcohol in exchange for a jug filled with human hair. Maxwell and Science come to the Diary Room. Big Brother tells them it is one of their last nights in the house, Big Brother has set them a task whereby they can win alcohol for their last night in the house. Maxwell asks how much booze they will get. Maxwell tells the others about the task and Kemal asks if he can use his leg hair. Craig tells them to cut his mullet off. Vanessa says she feels sorry for Craig as he is always being bullied by the others. Maxwell shaves the side of Craig?s head. Orlaith watches them and says that Maxwell makes her sick and he has his hand down his trousers all the time. 11.10pm Vanessa, Orlaith and Makosi are in the bedroom. The Housemates have been cutting hair for one hour and twenty-four minutes. In order to fill the jug Maxwell, Anthony and Eugene have also cut their hair. Orlaith says that Maxwell?s belly makes her feel sick as the girls watch him bend down to pick up some hair. Maxwell, Anthony, Eugene and Craig have all had their heads shaved. Craig suggests they shave their under arm hair. Orlaith says that they will do anything for a beer. Maxwell cuts some of Anthony?s under-arm hair and Anthony says he has cut it too close to the skin. Craig says they have completed their task and Big Brother will never defeat him.
