Day 08: (03/06/2004 - Friday)

Mary is evicted from the Big Brother house Derek ask Big Brother if Tony Blair can be invited into the house to talk to the housemates The housemates unite during a water fight Day 8 ? Friday 3 June 2005 9.42am All the housemates are in bed. Tonight the first housemate will be evicted. Mary and Craig face the public vote. The housemates are woken up by the sound of bells chiming. Roberto says, ?bonjourno.? They all discuss what that sound means. Some say it sounds like a wedding day and Roberto tells the others it?s the sound of ?judgement day!? 10.34am Mary, Craig, Anthony and Roberto are in the garden talking. Roberto says that the love of his life ?was a goth.? Mary tells him she would never have guessed that about him so Anthony responds, ?as the saying goes, don?t judge a book by its cover.? Kamal and Derek are in the Diary Room, ?the prime minister has a weekly audience with the Queen and the purpose of that weekly audience is to discuss affairs of the state. What I?m wondering, considering that this house has two queens, two princesses, and just in case that?s not politically correct its got plenty of the other sort ?jesters, commoners and ethnic minorities and so forth that you might telephone Downing St?ring up the prime minister and ask him to give us 10 minutes of his time. Each member of the house could put a question to the prime minister and very succinctly bring us up to date on the state of the nation. Consider it and get back to us Big Brother.? As they leave the Diary Room he tells Kamal, ?I doubt it.? 11.55am Mary is in the bedroom. Sam, Science and Maxwell are in the kitchen. Last Friday Lesley brought 84 water bombs into the house. Science and Maxwell run outside and through them at the others who are sitting in the garden. Maxwell then runs after Lesley in the bathroom ad throws it at her. He then throws one at Makosi and wets her dress. The others try to retaliate by squirting him with water and then they all start a water fight. Robert takes Kamal and jumps into the pool. Kamal?s not happy because he?s just moisturised his skin and the chlorine will ruin it. Roberto apologises and they all decide to end the water fight. 12.15pm Roberto and Kamal are in the kitchen. All other housemates are in garden. Mary tells Derek that she mistrusts his face and she is not sure whether he is playing a game or if he has been planted. She says that he is very clever and the way that he has taken power is extremely interesting. She says she finds him loud, aggressive and subtle and that he reminds her of a snake. Derek replies that she has nothing to fear and Mary agrees. She says she is much happier today and that ?yesterday I wanted to leave but today is the first day that I have come over a hump.? She now really wants to stay in the house. 2.54pm Most of the housemates are in the garden. Mary and Craig are at the seating area. Craig says that he would love them both to stay and that ?I never thought I?d feel so bad.? He adds that anything could happen, they could both be going. Mary says she is worried about the way in which people will react to her when she leaves the house, as she is a very private person. She enjoys being on stage as a character but is scared about people recognising her and thinking that they know her. 3.28pm Most of the housemates are in the garden. Kemal is in the Diary Room. Maxwell is flirting with Saskia by the pool. In the Diary Room, Kemal says he does not want to either housemate leave. Craig, he says, is ?sweet, charming and light and integral to the unity of the house.? He does, however, think that Mary?s departure would be felt in a more positive way as it would ease all the bitching and back stabbing which is going on in the house and the group dynamic will change for the better. 5.15pm Derek, Maxwell, Sam and Saskia and Kemal are at the seating area. Science and Anthony are in the garden. Mary is talking to Makosi in the living room. Mary tells Makosi that this is the first day she has woken up and wanted to stay in the BB house. Makosi says, ?I hope that today is your first day. In a way you haven?t been here.? She goes on to say that everyone has misconceptions but that we all have a destiny, and the path to our destiny is littered with pot-holes along the way. Kemal joins them on the sofa and waves his legs in the air. Mary says she is happy that it is thundering outside as it is her kind of weather and she hopes it is a good sign. 5.45pm Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Derek and Science are in the seating area. Makosi is in bed with Kemal, Maxwell, Sam, Saskia and Anthony. Makosi tells the assembled housemates, ?I have a big, big secret you will find out when you leave the house.? Derek and Science are watching them through the window and Derek says, ?Look at them, look how the dynamics have changed ? they all nominated her.? Science says they couldn?t have all nominated her as she is not up for eviction. Derek says that he has a theory, that Big Brother is always involving the public and he thinks that Makosi was nominated but that BB asked the public who they wanted to go first. Science says that he knew from the day he came into the house that something was going on. 6.35pm Most of the housemates are in the bedroom preparing for tonight?s eviction. Derek and Makosi are in bed. Derek tells her that they are good friends and that he has 3 theories: a) that BB asked the public if they wanted her to go, and the public said they didn?t want it, b) that the producers can change the rules at any time and that they could have changed them around the fact that Makosi is too popular, he then admits he cannot remember his third reason. Makosi mouths to him ?A? and whispers ?that?s why I screamed.? Derek looks pleased with himself and says, ?I?m very clever.? 6.58pm Derek is in the diary room. He tells BB that he can sense the winds of change blowing through the house and that the dynamics have changed as people forge new loyalties. He says that the people who were against Makosi are now sitting on her bed stroking her hair because they believe that they can?t get rid of her and they need her vote. He talks of the ?fire in their belly? and says they couldn?t wait to see her nominated. He says ?being a Lord myself, I know that he can move in mysterious ways.? 7.30pm There are 2 hours to go until the first eviction. Craig is talking to Vanessa in the seating area. Roberto and Makosi are discussing who does the washing up in the kitchen. Makosi says that Roberto loves doing the washing up so she never gets a chance. Roberto says that she is lazy and does no work around the house. He tells her she?s selfish and should learn some respect and to go away as she is winding him up by telling him she never gets the chance to do anything as he always takes over in the kitchen. They argue until Sam interrupts saying ?we all cleaned it.? Roberto ignores her and continues to rant at Makosi shouting, ?you are taking the piss you haven?t got a clue about my life.? When he leaves, Makosi tells Sam not to get involved. Makosi goes into the bedroom in tears. Maxwell givers her a hug and comforts her. She goes into the toilet and is followed by Saskia. Makosi says ?I do a lot of work, just not during the day.? Mary comes in and asks her if she is just ok. She tells Makosi to ignore Roberto and not to take it personally. Saskia agrees that everyone thought it was harsh and it wasn?t personal. 8.20pm Lesley, Craig and Vanessa are in the living room. Saskia, Anthony, Makosi and Sam are by the seating area. It has been an hour since Roberto and Makosi argued. Roberto comes over to Makosi. He says, ?I like people to do a little bit but I also like to get busy.? He apologises for the way in which he spoke to her, for using bad language and for being nasty and aggressive. He says that with a little bit of collaboration they would all get on fine. Makosi tells him that one day she will shock him and he?ll find her doing the dishes. Roberto kisses her twice and rubs her back. Anthony laughs at them and tells Roberto that he is a smooth operator. 9.24pm BB has gathered housemates on the sofa in the living room for the first eviction. Davina announces that Mary is the first person to be evicted. The other housemates hug her as she is shaking with nerves. They then kiss Craig who says, ?Thank God.? Saskia points out that Craig can?t stop smiling. 10.05pm t has been 41 minutes since it was announced that Mary is the first housemate to be evicted from the Big brother house. Davina tells the house she is coming to collect Mary. Mary curtseys to the housemates and walks through the house alone and up the stairs out of the house. 10.30pm It?s been 25 minutes since Mary left the Big Brother house. Most of the housemates are in the kitchen and seating area. Roberto and Derek are in the bedroom. As Roberto sleeps in a bed near the door to the bedroom he wants to move into Mary?s bed. He discusses it with Derek. Kemal intervenes and says that he was going to take Mary?s bed but then he changed his mind as he thinks it may be a bad omen to start swapping beds. Craig and Vanessa are watching them through the glass. Craig says that it is disgusting that they are already fighting over Mary?s bed when she has only just gone. 1.15am Maxwell, Anthony, Science and Craig are in the living room. Derek and Roberto are in the seating area. Makosi is in the Diary Room. She tells BB that she is ok ? she is glad that she passed her task but that Mary showed her a different side during the day and she felt bad because she wanted to stay. She says there is nothing she can do it about it though and she should move on. She leaves the DR saying ?Good night Big Brother. I love you.?

Day 09: (04/06/2004 - Saturday)

The housemates take part in a ?counting? task. Saskia says Maxwell is her favourite housemate. Plus psychological analysis from Honey Langcaster-James and Professor Geoffrey Beattie. Day 9 ? Saturday 4 June 2005 10.42am Most of the housemates are in the bedroom, Anthony is in the living room and Roberto and Derek are in the kitchen talking about the need for democracy in the house. Kemal storms in complaining that someone has thrown cigarette butts in the communal dust bin which annoys Derek. ?He?s bloody nineteen and he?s got to learn to communicate properly!? Derek complains to Roberto. Psychology expert, HONEY LANGCASTER-JAMES discusses how the housemates are acting more like a dysfunctional family. Roberto is the house disciplinarian and Derek has taken on a parental role. Whereas, Kemal is a spoilt child, Science is a stroppy teenager and Anthony and Maxwell are naughty schoolboys. But like any family, they must all learn to get along with each other. 12.19pm Lesley, Saskia, Derek, Craig and Kemal are in the sitting area. ?I can?t believe I?m still in here.? Smiles Craig. Makosi goes to the Diary Room, talking about last night?s eviction she says; ?Eighty percent in me says someone had to go and she (Mary) went, but yeah I feel bad. My role in the house has not changed. I?m just not trying to get people to nominate me. I am the ring-leader. I feel when Makosi is vexed, everyone is vexed,?..when Makosi is happy, everyone is happy. I am a silent leader, people don?t realise they are doing what Makosi wants.? 12.38pm Kemal, Anthony, Saskia and Maxwell are in the bedroom. The others are by the pool. When Sam starts singing ?I need a hero? at the top of her voice the others soon go back inside, leaving her to sing and sunbathe alone. 1.10pm Lesley, Craig and Makosi are chatting together. Craig talks about the boys losing interest in Sam; ?Now they see she ain?t got a personality, they?re not interested.? Meanwhile, Saskia, Anthony, Maxwell and Sam are in the bedroom. The girls are talking about their taste in men. Saskia looks at Maxwell and says, ?you can be funny and have nothing about you? and then looks at Anthony saying, ?or good looking and dull? she then laughs. 2.20pm The housemates are given a counting task. Throughout the day Big Brother will call housemates individually to the Diary Room where they will take it in turns to count as high as they can. Before each housemate is called, the Diary Room will be arranged with a special ?safety? costume, which the housemates must wear while they count. Saskia reads out the instructions to the group and Kemal is the first to go to the Diary Room. Kemal?s ?safety? costume is a Knight?s chain-mail. 2.51pm Derek, Roberto, Science and Sam are in the kitchen. The others are in the bedroom ?wrestling? each other. Science blames ?hormones? for their behaviour. Sam goes into the kitchen to get a drink and completely ignores Science, he is annoyed, but Derek reassures him; ?Speaking is not her favourite pastime.? 3.22pm Sam goes to the Diary Room to take part in the task, she must wear a helmet, goggles and knee pads. The other housemates are eating lunch prepared by Roberto. However, Kemal is upset that he received less food than the others. He goes to the Diary Room to tell Big Brother; ?Roberto is taking liberties in this house. Why am I given less food than everyone else? He cooked for only some of the house. I?m not grateful for his cooking, when I cook I cook for everyone.? 4.04pm Science is asleep. Derek goes to the Diary Room to take part in the task. He must wear a jockey?s hat, gloves and glasses. Meanwhile, Kemal and Roberto are in the sitting area discussing the food situation in the house, but soon they start to argue when Roberto says; ?You are driving me insane. You are sensitive and intelligent, but sometime you are a spoilt kid.? 4.26pm Roberto calls a house meeting with all of the housemates. ?We need to establish some basic rules.? says Roberto. Kemal, however, is still angry with Roberto; ?This is not Roberto?s ?Boot Camp?.? He protests. Roberto is annoyed that the housemates waste food and to the others? disgust, he tips the bin out onto the floor to make a point. Roberto then apologises to Kemal for calling him arrogant and asks Kemal to return the apology. 6.27pm Anthony, Science and Craig are in the kitchen. Vanessa goes to the Diary Room to take part in the task. She is given a green boiler suit and goggles. ?I?m scared, what are you going to do to me?? she nervously giggles. Psychology specialist, PROFESSOR GEOFFREY BEATTIE discusses how the housemates are dealing with the unpredictability and uncertainty in the house by trying to befriend Big Brother. Roberto looks to Big Brother as a calm and relaxing influence, while Anthony and Maxwell try to gain favour with Big Brother by making suggestions of what Big Brother should do next. Derek leads the other housemates to believe that he is the only one who can deal with the ?Big Guy? while some housemates are even jealous when other housemates are called to the Diary Room instead of them. 7.35pm While most of the housemates are in the seating area, Craig goes to the Diary Room to take part in the counting task. He is asked to wear camouflage gear and hide behind a sprig of leafy foliage while counting. 8.04pm Kemal, Saskia, Makosi and Science are in the seating area chatting about whether they believe they have a spirit. Maxwell goes to the Diary Room to take part in the counting task. He must wear a snorkel, swimming cap and rubber arm-bands for the duration of the task. Craig is in the kitchen cooking his first meal for the rest of the house. Derek watches on and admires the recipe, but when it comes to serving up the dinner they are all disappointed at the small portions. ?I apologise because there?s not a lot.? Says Craig. ?I feel really bad, people are gonna be so hungry.? 9.17pm Makosi and Kemal are alone in the loft talking about Roberto. ?In the outside world I think his sexual presence gives him power.? Says kemal. Meanwhile, Saskia is the last person to take part in the task today. Derek and Science are chatting alone together. ?I?m a little paranoid because you have to be where I come from.? Science admits, ?But I hear what certain people say.? ?Their mistake is not taking you seriously ? a big mistake ? but wonderful for you.? Derek reassures him. ?I?m not here to preach, but if I?ve got something to share I want to share it.? Says Science. ?I think you could possibly win, ?Derek continues, ?If you stopped swearing you?d be a very good role model for the young.? 12.20am Derek is asleep. Science is in the toilet. The other housemates plot to play a prank on Derek and throw a water bomb at him in his bed. Science creeps up on them and throws water bombs on Anthony and Sam, they chase each other around laughing. Then in the garden, Maxwell throws a water bomb at Science and he responds by picking the dustbin up which upsets Maxwell. Big Brother immediately calls Science to the Diary Room while Saskia chats with Maxwell. Soon Maxwell and Saskia are joking about the situation. In the Diary Room, Science explains his actions; ?I was sticking up for Derek you know what I mean. My intention was to show them what they were doing. He?s (Derek) a cool guy, no matter what he?s about. I was speaking to him earlier on a level, intellectually.? 2.20am Saskia goes to the Diary Room to talk to Big Brother. ?I?ve had a lovely evening. I think Maxwell is adorable, he?s a lovely lovely guy. Derek, he?s a nice enough guy, but you don?t come on a programme like Big Brother and not expect drama. Science is honest and truthful, but he goes over the top.?

Day 10: (05/06/2004 - Sunday)

Saskia?s reward for winning the counting task is to be Big Brother Roberto confronts Kemal over coming out on television Watergate continues Day 10 ? Sunday 5 June 2005 10.08am Most of the housemates are in bed. Last night, Science, Maxwell and Anthony had an argument following the water fights. Science was asked by Big Brother to sleep in the lounge area, away from the main bedroom. Roberto and Derek are in the kitchen discussing last night?s argument. Derek is defending Science saying there was no need for Anthony to get involved with the row between Maxwell and Science. Feeling that Science was looking out for him, Derek says ?he was trying to prevent me being the target, if he goes, I go.? 11.22am Most of the housemates are still asleep. Derek and Roberto are still in the kitchen when Science walks in. Derek offers him a drink and tells him he?s beginning to lose respect for some of the housemates. 11.49am Roberto is in the living room. Sam is in the shower. Most of the other housemates are in the bedroom. Anthony is talking about last night saying it was ?all fun and games?. Derek tells Science that ?if somebody water bombed me in the street it would be an arrestable offence and if they water bombed me in my bed it would be a criminal offence.? Science says that ?everyone wanted to see it but not do it. I want back in there with a bag full of bombs and threw them at whoever was there and they didn?t like it.? 1.31pm Most of the housemates are at the seating area. Science is called to the diary room and tells Big Brother that last night was ?fun and games, that?s all it was meant to be.? In the kitchen Craig asks Anthony if he has spoken to Science today. Craig says about Science ?It?s absurb. No matter what the incident he?s right everyone else is wrong.? . 2.09pm Some housemates are in the garden. Derek is skipping. In the kitchen, Kemal asks Roberto where his avocado is. Roberto reacts by telling him to ?stop asking before looking for things.? Maxwell and Saskia are in the bedroom where Saskia is trying a baseball cap on and saying that hats don?t suit her. Maxwell disagrees. He watches as Saskia asks Sam to adjust her bra strap saying ?Wicked I can breathe?. 3.57pm Saskia and Maxwell are comparing fingers in the garden. Derek and Roberta are at the seating area talking about Vanessa?s diet. Derek says ??diet?s appalling. She woke up this morning and had toast, jam, crisps and a Crunchie.? Anthony tells Science ?You were out of order? about the bin throwing and Maxwell asks him ?why if it was an accident didn?t you apologise straight away?. Science claims it was an accident and tries to apologise. Maxwell finally accepts the apology. 4.20pm Most of the housemates are by the pool. Leslie, Maxwell and Craig are in the kitchen. Saskia is called to the diary room and told she has won yesterday?s counting task by getting to number 261. Her extra special reward is to become Big Brother. She must choose one housemate who she can ask 3 questions to. She has 30 minutes to decide who. She tells the other housemates it was a problem with her microphone ?nothing exciting?. 4.55pm Anthony and Science have been arguing for 24 minutes. Big Brother calls Saskia to the diary room and asked to confirm her housemate and questions. She chooses Maxwell and the following 3 questions. Which 2 housemates would Maxwell want to stay in the house with him, who would he share the money with, and if he had to evict a housemate who would it be and why. For the second stage of her secret mission, Saskia is asked to go to the toilet off the bedroom, told to put the seat down and sit on the toilet. Big Brother speaks to the house and calls Maxwell to the diary room as a television screen comes out of the wall for Saskia to watch. Big Brother asks which housemate he would want to stay in the house. Maxwell responds ?Saskia, she?s off the hook, gorgeous girl. Person I have the most laughs with. She didn?t start off top of my list but she?s now head and shoulders above the rest. Also Anthony, aside from the dancing, pink shirts and false tans we?re mates.? To the second question Maxwell says he would share his winnings with Roberto so he could visit a plastic surgeon for a certain part of anatomy enlargement. His answer to question number 3 is that he would evict Science for throwing the bin at him ?he?s edgy and making people feel uncomfortable.? Before Maxwell leaves the diary room, he asks Big Brother to change a jar of coffee the housemates have been given and which Roberto is complaining about. In an Italian accent, Maxwell says ?Roberto says this coffee is disgusting and if he has to drink it he?d prefer to drink dishwater. ? 6.09pm Most of the housemates are in the seating area. Maxwell is back in the diary room asking who won yesterday?s counting task. He is told the winner has already been rewarded. Maxwell joins the other housemates and tells them the housemate has already been rewarded. Saskia says ?who?s been called to the diary room today. You?ve been in there 4 times today.? 7.21pm While most of the housemates are in the seating area, Derek is talking about being gay. Roberto tells Kemal he should have told his parents before coming into the house. Kemal reacts by telling Roberto it wasn?t that easy and Roberto tells him that letting it come out on television ?isn?t very sensitive. Learn some respect, your behaviour is cowardly.? Kemal tells Roberto he has no idea ?how difficult it is. It?s nothing to do with you. You have no idea what I?ve been through.? 7.33pm Saskia is doing cart wheels in the seating area. Craig and Maxwell are in the garden talking about her. Craig asks ? if she got in bed with you would you shag her?? Maxwell says probably not on television, he wouldn?t want to embarrass himself and would ask her to ?keep bouncing up and down for 30 minutes.? He likes her she ?laughs like Muttley? and he likes her personality. Craig tells him there?s ?nothing gay with saying you like a girl?s personality.? 8.22pm Kemal has cooked for all the housemates. Big Brother calls Saskia to the diary room and tells her that Maxwell has asked for fresh coffee for Roberto and new underwear. She must decide. She chooses the underwear as Maxwell?s 2 pairs of boxer shorts are ?vile? and ?Roberto is being bang out of order to Kemal so he can go without.? Back at the dinner table the housemates are arguing about the lack of food. Science asking ?Who argues on a Sunday?? Roberto says he?s ?not happy about having just scraps.? Kemal responds by saying he wasn?t happy about being thrown in the pool. 8.43pm Most of the housemates are still eating. Roberto and Maxwell are washing up and talking about dinner portion sizes. Maxwell is called to the diary room and given the underwear Saskia in her secret mission has decided to give to him. The pants provided are Tottenham Hot Spurs. Maxwell is an Arsenal supporter. He says ?You are winding me up.? Holding up the underwear he adds, ?these I can handle, I?m quite partial to a G-string.? Joining the housemates, Maxwell asks ?who?s got a stick and lighter, these are getting burnt?. Science tells him ?they did that to get at you.? He watches as Maxwell sets light to the boxer shorts in the garden. 11.45am Makosi is doing a striptease for Science who is lying beneath her in his bed. The rest of the housemate are in the room laughing. In the loft, Kemal and Roberto are speaking about their earlier arguments. Kemal accuses Roberto of attacking him and tells him ?can?t forgive, need to re-establish entire relationship. You know you shouldn?t have brought it up? (over) stepped the mark big time, everyone realises you were bang out of order.? Roberta responds with ?don?t patronise me, you should learn respect.? Kemal adds that Roberto?s ?too strong for you to get to me.? Roberto is left alone. 12.18am Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Vanessa and Lesley are in bed together, kissing in front of the other housemates. Makosi, Craig and Kemal are also under the covers. Anthony goes in at the foot of the bed when the duvet is suddenly pulled away. Roberto sits with his back turned to the group.

Day 11: (06/06/2004 - Monday)

The housemates nominate for the 2nd time Saskia is given her next mission ? she must choose a punishment for Maxwell after he set his Tottenham Hotspurs pants on fire The girls continue to wind each other up Day 11 ? Monday 6 June 2005 10.40am Sam, Anthony, Science, Roberto and Saskia are in the bedroom. Kamal is in the Diary Room. He is talking about Sam and his dislike for her. He says, ?she?s not a threat to anybody. You don?t feel you can warm to her. Everytime someone says something, she says, ?yeh, me too??oh shut up.? 11.32am Most of the housemates are in the living area arguing about cooking. Sam tells the others, ?I?m really worried about the intelligence of people in this house.? Lesley responds, ?don?t you worry about that, love.? Sam then tells her, ?shut up bitch.? Sam then gets up to walk to the Diary Room and Lesley calls out to her, ?go on, you have a good bitch and cry as well.? In the Diary Room, Sam tells Big Brother, ?there?s a load of thickos in here.? Talking about Lesley, she says, ?she?s a bitch that girl. I can?t not get along with people. I?m sure we?ll be civil but I don?t want to go out there because I?m sure she won?t be civil to me.? When Sam walks out the Diary Room, Lesley sarcastically tells the others, ?why do some of the people in this house say they can?t remember what her face looks like because they see her arse so much?? 1.27pm Maxwell and Anthony are talking about Saskia. Maxwell tells Anthony that he thinks ?that bird?s off the hook.? Lesley is in the Diary Room. She tells Big Brother, ?sorry Big Brother, I feel I can?t talk at the moment. Everyone?s being totally false at the moment because nominations are coming up. Everyone?s being so nice. It totally annoys me.? 2.10pm Yesterday Saskia was told by Big Brother that she won the counting task and as a reward she has been able to play Big Brother and influence certain events in the house. She is called to the Diary Room and told that because Maxwell broke a house rule and went against health and safety regulations by burning the Tottenham Hotspurs underwear Big Brother gave him, Saskia must chose a punishment for him. She is told to choose between him wearing a Tottenham Hotspurs shirt whilst standing outside on the ?naughty step? or to wear a baby outfit whilst sitting on the ?naughty step?. Without hesitation, Saskia says, ?baby outfit, definitely.? Makosi is in the loft telling Vanessa about what she got up to the night before with Anthony. She says, ?I was rubbing his thing with my leg then with my hand?and he does have a big willy.? 2.51pm Vanessa and Lesley are talking about Sam. Vanessa tells her, ?I don?t like Sam, she?s a conniving bitch and I?m nominating her.? Maxwell receives his punishment from Big Brother and walks to the ?naughty step? with his baby outfit on. Everyone asks him what?s going on and he says, ?I?ve been a naughty boy?I?ve been a naughty boy and I?ve got to sit on the naughty step. I broke a house rule and the person who won yesterday?s task had to pick a punishment for me.? They all chat at once but Saskia interrupts them and asks him to explain what he means about being punished y another housemate. After he explains, Saskia says, ?that?s harsh, this person really must not like you.? 5.41pm Most of the housemates are in the kitchen. Derek and Roberto are in the living room. Maxwell has been on the naughty step 2 hours 51 minutes. Big Brother calls Maxwell to the Diary Room. Big Brother asks, ?Maxwell, what have you learnt about your time on the naughty step?? He replies, ?boring.? Big Brother then asks ?how do you think Tottenham fans felt when you burnt the Tottenham Hotspurs pants?? He says, ?probably the same as I felt when I was handed them.? Big Brother then goes on to tell him that he?s ?let Big Brother down, you?ve let your housemates down but most of all, you?ve let yourself down.? He is then told that his punishment is over. 7.02pm Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Makosi is in the pool. Derek and Roberto are in the living room. Derek tells Roberto that he thinks lots of hetrosexuals accentuate their sexuality but that Anthony does this the most. Vanessa and Craig are talking about what Makosi and Anthony did under the covers last night. Craig says he thinks it?s ?disgusting, he probably had a hard on.? Vanessa then goes on to tell him what Makosi told him earlier but then says she thinks Anthony is all talk. Craig responds by saying he questions Anthony?s sexuality because of the amount he talks about sex. He says he asked Anthony a trick question to catch him out? 7.59pm Derek, Roberto and Makosi are in the living room talking about how nice the weather is. Derek says, ?it?s a glorious evening, why?s it not like this during the day? If I was at home, I?d be having a glass of champagne.? They all laugh. 10.23pm Sam, Kamal and Derek are praying. The rest of the housemates are in the living room talking about this week?s nomination announcement. Craig says, ?I live to see another day. My name will be called out tomorrow and I?ll be out.? Max says that if he is up for eviction then he?ll ?be fuming.? Anthony believes he (Anthony) will be safe this week, saying, ?I?m not being big headed.? Makosi assures him that he won?t be evicted saying that if she was allowed to tell him why, she would. The others ask her what she means and she simply responds with, ?my name is Makosi and I am from Africa.? 11.19pm Big Brother calls Vanessa to the Diary Room. When she walks in, Big Brother says to her, ?thank you Vanessa, you may now leave the Diary Room.? When she returns to the rest of the housemates so soon after leaving them, Lesley asks, ?nice chat Vanessa?? Vanessa responds, ?yeh!? 12.30am Derek and Makosi are in bed. The rest of the housemates are in the living room. Vanessa tells Craig she has a confession to make. She tells him, ?I?m bisexual and my parents don?t know about it.? She then says she?s worried that some of the girls who she?s pulled will have sold their story to the press and she?s worried her parents will read about it. ?I will tell them the truth but I don?t think I?ll end up with a woman, I just fancy women.? 1.55am Roberto and Sam are in bed. Derek, Craig and Lesley are in the seating area. Saskia is plucking Anthony?s eyebrows and they all start talking about eyebrows. Kamal talks about how he used to have one eyebrow, leading Anthony to tell Saskia, ?I don?t want women?s eyebrows.?

Day 12: (07/06/2004 - Tuesday)

The house is turned into a hospital ward for the first weekly task The housemates are told that all 12 of them face eviction this week Day 12 ? Tuesday 7 June 2005 8.08am Big Brother has set the housemates their first weekly task. The house has been turned into an A&E hospital ward. The siren sounds to wake up the housemates. Doctor Big calls one housemate to the Diary Room, Roberto is the first housemate to get up and he goes to the Diary Room. He is told that he has automatically nominated himself as the ward Matron. He chooses Vanessa, Saskia and Science to be his nurses. 9.32am The rest of the housemates are now patients and must put on their pyjamas. ?This is an odd psychological state because we are in pyjamas, but don?t know if we should be in bed.? Notes Derek. The alarm to call one patient to the Diary Room sounds. Sam is first to go and is told that Dr Big suspects she has a broken left leg. She leaves the Diary Room and gives the diagnosis laminate to nurse Science. Roberto and Science put a splint on her leg that she must wear for the duration of the task. 12.27pm Sam and Saskia are by the pool. Derek, Roberto and Science are in the kitchen. ?I want to go home.? Derek tells Matron Roberto, before being distracted by Science?s bad manners. 12.59pm Derek and Kemal are in the seating area. ?I don?t really want to be here anymore.? Derek confides in him. Craig is called to the Diary Room. He is told by Dr Big that he is pregnant and must therefore not drink or smoke until further notice. ?Oh thankyou, oh excellent.? He puts on his pregnancy suit, a dress, hat and comfortable shoes. He exits the Diary Room and is greeted by Kemal and Vanessa who scream and stroke his bump. 1.58pm Vanessa, Maxwell and Anthony are in the kitchen. Maxwell is admiring Nurse Vanessa?s outfit; ?Do you feel sexy in it?? he grins at her. ?Oh thankyou!? she blushes. 2.16pm Saskia and Derek are in the garden. The other housemates are discussing the rules of the task and think that they have incurred two fails because of Sam. In the Diary Room, Sam is talking to Doctor Big. ?They are all doing my head in. I think they are all trying to bully me which is pathetic. Roberto is pissing me off, but I?ve just given it back now.? Meanwhile, Science and Roberto go outside to wash the bedsheets and discuss whether Sam has incurred two fails for the group. Sam walks outside and when they ask her, she says; ?I don?t give a shit, I?m doing my best ok. Just shut up.? Roberto argues back, ?I will shut up when you stick to the rules properly.? 3.20pm The medical team administer the patients with their daily medicine ? cod liver oil. Matron Roberto announces that each patient must drink some cod liver oil. Maxwell is first and all the other patients follow, Makosi is the last patent to attempt to drink it. On first taste she spits it out and runs to the toilet, followed by Lesley and Craig. ?At least she tried.? Says a diplomatic Matron Roberto. ?That was a mean trick.? Agrees Nurse Science. 5.10pm The housemates are gathered on the sofa awaiting the results of this week?s nominations. Big Brother announces that, because a housemate broke a rule and discussed nominations with fellow a housemate, this week?s nominations are null and void. Therefore ALL housemates face the public vote this week. Immediately Vanessa admits to the group that she was called to the Diary Room last night and told that the reason the nominations are void is because of a conversation she had with Lesley. 5.47pm In the bedroom, Vanessa is upset. Makosi hugs her; ?I?m very proud of you. The public are not going to hate you.? ?Don?t worry, ? agrees Derek, ?There?s life after Big Brother.? 5.52pm Kemal and Makosi are alone in the loft. ?Is she (Vanessa) telling the truth?? Asks Kemal, ?Because if that?s the case she?s not the only one?.Derek has been doing it too.? Makosi agrees, ?I can stand up and say Derek is trying to influence my vote. He wrote two Ss on my feet!? 9.52pm Maxwell, Anthony and Saskia are in the living room. Craig, Derek and Roberto are in the seating area. The hospital alarm sounds and Makosi goes to the Diary Room. Dr Big diagnoses a repetitive strain injury to her right wrist, Makosi giggles and exits the Diary Room to tell Matron Roberto and Nurse Science. ?I was being intimate with my boyfriend.? She says is the reason. 11.41pm Matron Roberto, Nurse Science, Lesley, Craig and Derek are in the seating area. Makosi, Kemal and Vanessa are in the bedroom. ?We were saying you?re one of the most genuine people in here.? Makosi says to Vanessa. Meanwhile, Saskia tells Maxwell that he would ?do her head in? if she was his girlfriend and he insisted on watching football every Saturday; ?I wouldn?t want to be second best to football.? ?We?d sort something out.? He laughs. 12.12am In the bedroom Lesley is impersonating her fellow housemates to the applause of Derek. In the living room, Maxwell, Saskia and Anthony are encouraging Sam to sing ?I?ve had the time of my life?. She sings and they laugh hysterically.

Day 13: (08/06/2004 - Wednesday)

Big Brother reminds Lesley of the house rules regarding her behaviour towards housemates Saskia hurts her foot whilst playing football with a pillow Lesley and Sam agree to settle their differences and try and get on Day 13 ? Wednesday 8 June 2005 9.31am The Big Brother house has been turned into an A&E hospital ward for the housemates? first weekly task. A vomit alarm sounds to wake up the housemates. 11.17am Most of the housemates are in the garden when Matron Roberto brings the patient?s medicine (wheatgrass) from the Diary Room. Kemal is the first patent to drink his medicine, ?Don?t worry, it?s sweet, it just tastes like grass.? However, Lesley and Makosi both struggle to swallow the liquid and incur the group?s first fail of the day. 12.02pm Vanessa and Maxwell are in the kitchen while the others are in the garden. Lesley doesn?t take kindly to Sam stealing some of her food and takes the opportunity to single her out for them possibly failing the task. After Lesley?s outburst, Anthony and Maxwell stick up for Sam, ?Why don?t you just leave her alone. You?ve got the hump with her and keep bitching about her all the time and it?s not on.? Says Maxwell. 12.23pm Lesley, Craig and Derek are in the bedroom. ?I can?t stomach her anymore.? Lesley says of Sam. Meanwhile, Sam is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother; ?She (Lesley) is constantly bitching. I?ve met girls like that before, they?re stupid and won?t leave it alone. It?s scary that someone can have so much hate. I am a nice person, I?ve tried my best.? 1.04pm Roberto has called of the housemates to the living room to have a meeting about the food situation. ?It?s happened because of the way we manage the house budget. It?s reasonable to point out that the average British family lives on considerably less than we do a week in this house. I think we need to manage the food and supply of food more efficiently.? Says Derek. The hospital siren sounds and interrupts the meeting. Kemal goes to the Diary room. Dr Big tells him that he suspects Kemal may have a case of haemorrhoids and gives him an inflatable cushion that he must use at all times. 1.27pm In the living room, Lesley confronts Sam about her not wearing her leg splint ? as prescribed by Dr Big and therefore possibly incurring the group another fail. 2pm Most of the housemates are in the garden, while Craig and Lesley go to the Diary Room together. ?I?m going on hunger strike!? announces Lesley. ?I?m not gona eat in here anymore, I?m sick of all the arguments about food. So I?m not gonna eat so noone can blame me.? She then changes the subject to this week?s nominations; ?Vanessa?s been annoying me. She?s been false the last couple of days.? Craig agrees, ?She?s the reason we?re all up for eviction. She didn?t even feel bad that she?s put people up for eviction and I could potentially go on Friday. She?s only worried about what the public think, but that?s a complete selfish act in my mind.? 3.31pm Vanessa and Makosi are sleeping while the rest are in the garden playing a quiz hosted by Derek and his co-host, Craig. ?The first question goes to Maxwell?s team.? Announces Derek. ?What major attack was the cause of America going to war with Germany?? Kemal answers correctly, ?Pearl Harbour.? When Science interrupts the next question, Derek is quick to chastise him; ?The reason you don?t know anything Science is that you?re always talking when you should be listening.? 4.33pm The housemates are in the garden. Anthony and Saskia are playing football with a pillow. Saskia hurts her foot and sits on the floor. At first Anthony thinks she is joking; ?Seriously, you?re hurting? Are you taking the piss? Oh I?m really sorry.? ?It?s not you?re fault.? She says whilst nursing her foot. Meanwhile, Lesley has been called to the Diary Room. Big Brother reminds Lesley of the house rules, that Big Brother does not tolerate intimidating or threatening behaviour in the house. ?I didn?t mean me physically. I do say things on the spur of the moment, but I don?t get violent.? She explains. Big Brother then reminds her that Big Brother will consider evicting anyone who threatens violence in the Big Brother house and Lesley says that she understands. 5.32pm The hospital siren sounds and patient Maxwell goes to the Diary Room to see Dr Big. Maxwell is told that Dr Big is concerned that Maxwell may be contracting a throat infection and that he therefore must not speak until Dr Big instructs otherwise. Maxwell protests, but Dr Big says that he is provided with a blackboard and chalk to communicate with the other housemates and Big Brother. Maxwell writes on the blackboard, ?Are you winding me up?? before exiting the Diary Room. The other housemates cheer when they discover his illness. However, Maxwell accidentally says one word and consequently incurs a fail. 6.20pm Most of the housemates are in the garden. Saskia and Maxwell are in the kitchen together. Maxwell is still silent because he doesn?t realise that he failed the task 43 minutes ago. 6.56pm It is 2 hours and 4 minutes since Lesley was given a warning by Big Brother. Sam and Lesley are alone in the bedroom talking on the bed. ?This could be my last two days in the house and I don?t want to spend it arguing. I think we should sort out our differences and get on with it.? Says Lesley. Sam agrees. 10.19pm Sam is cooking dinner for the housemates. Roberto, Science and Derek are in the bedroom discussing Sam?s attempt at cooking for them. ?We shouldn?t have let her, we are all starving.? Says Derek. Sam asks Roberto to try a potato. He tells her it tastes ?slightly salty.? Before she dismisses him saying, ?Ok thanks, that?s fine. You can go now.? But Derek takes umbrage at this; ?Don?t say you can go now, what a stupid thing to say! This space belongs to all. I will stand and watch you. No I?m not joking, jokes are not my suit.? Sam looks at him, surprised at his outburst. 11.47pm Derek, Roberto, Lesley and Craig are in the living area singing ?Tainted Love?. The others are in the bedroom when Makosi suggests to Sam that they streak in the garden. The two girls run outside and take of their patient?s gowns and run around the garden in their knickers, laughing and giggling. Roberto and Science cheer from the sides, but Maxwell and Anthony miss all the action and arrive just as the girls are putting their gowns back on.

Day 14: (09/06/2004 - Thursday)

Davina questions them about their time in the house and how they feel about tonight?s eviction. Day 14 ? Thursday 9 June 2005 10.23am Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Last night, Saskia injured her foot during a game of pillow football with Anthony. Big Brother has arranged for her to be taken to hospital to have the foot x-rayed. The rest of the housemate are told to stay inside and are talking about her injury. Derek comments ?I didn?t notice anything wrong with her.? The housemates discuss the house rules and whether she will be allowed to return following her time outside the house. They decide they want her to come back apart from Lesley who adds ?I don?t want her to stay, I don?t actually like her.? 11.26am Roberto, Craig and Maxwell are in the kitchen talking about the father of Craig?s baby. 12.11pm Science is adjusting Anthony?s sling in the kitchen. The rest of the housemates are in the garden. It has been 2 hours since Saskia left the house to have her foot x-rayed. She arrives back at the house wearing a cast on her leg, telling the others ?got bad spraining, got to wear this for 2 weeks.? Maxwell tells her it?s nice to have her back ?something to look at?. 2.07pm Most of the housemates are in the bedroom. Derek, Anthony and Sam are in the garden. Craig is called to the diary room. Dr Big tells him his contractions are just a few minutes apart and that he must pack an overnight bag, decide who his birthing partner will be and return to the diary room. Craig leaves the diary room and tells Lesley ?Bitch, you?ve just been picked to be my birthing partner.? Lesley responds with ?are you joking? You?re not getting evicted are you?? Craig says ?probably.? 2.25pm It?s been 18 minutes since Craig left the diary room. He returns with birthing partner Lesley and is told by Dr Big to breathe deeply and start pushing slowly at first. Craig says ?get this thing out of me? while Lesley offers her support ?you?re doing really well.? Dr Big congratulates Craig on the birth of a baby boy, which is under the table in front of him. Craig says ?I?ve very proud and thanks Big Brother for being the father of my child.? Craig, Lesley and baby Britney, leave the diary room and announce the new arrival to congratulations from the rest of the house. 4.01pm Most of the housemates are eating lunch and talking about saving or dividing out the leftovers. An argument starts between Roberto and Maxwell over the food situation. Roberto chucks his bowl of food over Maxwell?s head. Big Brother calls Roberto to the diary room and reminds him that threatening behaviour will not be tolerated in the house. Roberto says he would never throw hot food over someone. 5.02pm Derek is in the diary room. He says ?I think I want to leave, my tolerance levels are now zero and I haven?t got the stomach anymore. Think I?d have been better going into Jurassic Park. The pre historic mentality of some housemates make me feel this is not the place for me.? Saskia and Maxwell are talking. She says ?I?ve got something to confess, I saw your willy when you were changing.? 9.18pm Most of the housemates are sleeping in the bedroom, Maxwell, Saskia and Craig are in the diary room asking for alcohol. Big Brother asks them how their day has been. Maxwell says ?Best day ever?had dinner poured over my head.? Saskia describes her day as ?interesting? but doesn?t ?understand why the other housemates have gone to bed on their last night together?. Big Brother asks who they would least like to stay in the house. Maxwell says ?me and Roberto are getting on like a house on fire?. Big Brother tells them that no alcohol will be provided this evening.
