Orlaith makes her bid for freedom Craig continues to play with Anthony?s affections Day 65 ? Saturday 30 July 2005 9.13am Last night Kemal became the 9th housemates to be evicted from the Big Brother house. Following his departure, Orlaith told Big Brother that she also wanted to leave. Orlaith has been up for 1 hour and 18 minutes getting ready to leave. The other housemates are asleep in the bedroom when Big Brother asks her to take her suitcase through to the Diary Room. Derek suddenly wakes up, confused by what he has heard. Big Brother then plays The Clash song ?Should I Stay or Should I Go? into the bedroom to wake the housemates. Derek goes to the pool while the rest of the housemates ask Orlaith is she?s decided to leave. At the pool, Eugene tells Derek that it was his suggestion to play Should I Stay Or Should I Go. Derek says ?Tell her to go, for god?s sake.? In the bedroom, Anthony and Craig are telling Orlaith that she?ll know she?s made the right decision. She says ?my tummy is turning with nerves and excitement.? Big Brother calls a housemate to the Diary Room and Orlaith goes. She is given the new microphone batteries to give to the housemates. Derek and Eugene are in the pool counting how long they can stay underwater. As Orlaith comes out with the batteries, Derek tells Eugene ?I?m going to try and go under, tell Orlaith where my microphone is.? He goes under the water as Eugene talks to Orlaith about leaving the house. As she leaves, Derek comes up for air and says ?that was very distracting.? Eugene apologies. In the bedroom, Orlaith hugs a crying Makosi and says ?If Big Brother keeps me here another 2 hours I?ll crack up.? 10.15am Eugene and Derek are still in the pool and counting how long they can stay underwater. As Derek surfaces, Eugene says ?2minutes 44, you bastard.? Derek tells him he could have gone on for longer. Eugene says ?Got gossip for you while you were under, Big Brother announced that Orlaith will leave the house in 10 minutes. We were wrong she does genuinely want to leave.? Derek says ?She can?t cope with rejection? could have done 3 minutes.? Eugene replies ?Don?t rub it in.? Orlaith is called to the Diary Room for the final time. She hugs and thanks Craig and Anthony, and Makosi tells her to ?Work it.? As she leaves, Orlaith says ?Tell that guy (Derek) something to make him squirm.? By the pool, Eugene tells Derek ?I?ll see her off and come back in.? In the Diary Room for the final time, Orlaith says ?110% sure I want to go. One person made me feel inadequate. Derek?s a bully and I don?t do bullies.? In the bedroom, Makosi is saying ?Can?t believe they let her do that, they could have stopped her.? Anthony says he tried to persuade her to stay and Craig adds ?would think Eugene would say goodbye, what?s she done to him?? Eugene, having missed Orlaith, comes in to the bedroom and says ?I?m surprised but well done to her for getting this far.? In the Diary Room, Orlaith says ? I have no regrets. Haven?t smiled like this for ages.? before making her exit from the Big Brother house. 11.48am Derek is chanting in the living area. It?s been 1 hour and 11 minutes since Orlaith left the house. Makosi tells Craig ?Don?t think I can do this. Didn?t think Orlaith would go.? Craig says she had to and adds ?I?ve got Anthony, so can deal with this but wouldn?t want to be in your position, losing 2 people. Try and be strong. Can?t believe the house is so empty now, we?re still f**king here.? 1.37pm Derek and Makosi are in the bedroom. Eugene is washing up. Anthony and Craig are in the living room. Craig says ?Look at you, you naughty boy. You need to be smacked and disciplined. Were you naughty at school. Did lots of girls fancy you? Did you have a girlfriend?? Anthony replies no and Craig asks him when he lost his virginity. Anthony says it was alright but he was nervous and Craig tells him ?I?ve got more experience than you. You?ve never had your balls sucked.? Anthony says he can?s imagine having sex with a man and Craig tells him he?d enjoy it ?Just remember, men know what men like.? ?So do women? says Anthony. Craig asks him if he thinks a man?s body is ugly. ?Compared to a woman?s. Men are stubbly, hairy arsed blokes. Can?t understand it.? replies Anthony. 1.56pm Still in the living room, Craig tells Anthony ?I?m bored and you?re boring. Can see why people call you dull.? Anthony grabs boxers and gives him a wedgee. Craig squeals ?Oh I say, quite nice. That stopped you from doing it.? as Anthony lets go. Derek is in the Diary Room ? I feel very low ebb, indeed. No energy, very tired. Think Kemal?s departure affected me more that I thought it would. Conversation this morning was quit banal. All housemates talk about it whether they like ketchup or what makes a good night out in Newcastle. Orlaith going has left a nasty taste. Her departure was a real slap in the face to all those people who spent money voting to keep her in. If I voted, I would feel disappointed. She showed scant regard to the support.? 2.49pm The luxury shopping parcel has arrived but is missing toilet paper. Anthony goes to the Diary Room to find out where it is and is told that Big Brother has provided all of the items read out loud. Anthony admits he may have made a mistake and not asked for toilet paper ?Would be fair enough if we had no bananas but surely you can be lenient with toilet rolls.? Big Brother tells him that his request has been noted. Anthony returns to the house and admits his error ?No pun intended, s**t happens.? 7.39pm Craig and Anthony are in the living area. Derek is in the pool, Makosi and Eugene are in the seating area. Big Brother calls a housemate to the Diary Room and Makosi goes running ?If someone is going home then I want to be the one to go.? Inside the Diary Room there is a stack of toilet roll. Big Brother tells Makosi the housemates can have it if she can name the famous horse Big Brother is thinking about in three attempts. Makosi screams out to Derek for help but does not guess correctly. Big Brother tells her she has let her fellow housemates down and to leave the Diary Room. 21 minutes later, the task is still running. Craig and Eugene have also failed to guess correctly. Anthony is called to the Diary Room and on seeing the stacked toilet roll says ?would be a party on our bums if get that.? Anthony guesses Big Brother, Brutus The Bear and Sandy, Dogtanian?s dog from he cartoon, as his incorrect answers Derek is the final housemate called to the Diary Room. He guesses Silver and is told he has guessed correctly the name of the horse Big Brother has been thinking of. ?If nothing else, he got them bog roll.? That will be the epitaph on my tombstone? he says. 10.59pm All of the housemate are in the bedroom where Eugene and Derek are holding a quiz. Derek asks Anthony to spell Adidas. ?All day I dream about sex, A-D-I-D-A-S? says Anthony. 2.21am Eugene, Makosi and Derek are asleep in the bedroom. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Craig suggests they have a masturbating competition to keep them awake and then asks if Anthony has ever done that with his mates. No, says Anthony but says he can?t believe he?s picking his nose on television. Craig says he can?t believe he?s masturbated on television and tells a shocked Anthony where he?s masturbated in the house, including once while he was talking to Anthony.

Day 66: (31/07/2005 - Sunday)

Kinga is the surprise new housemate?and she is armed with her first secret mission The housemates get to know their new addition very well Day 66 ? Sunday 31 July 2005 10.09am Yesterday, Orlaith became the first housemate to leave the Big Brother house without being evicted. Unbeknownst to the remaining housemates, Big Brother will be replacing her with a new housemate later on today. Craig and Anthony are in the bedroom. Derek and Makosi are in the garden. Makosi says it?s a shame Orlaith gave up, if she?d known her intention was only to stay one week she may have made some different decisions. She says she?s learnt that people have reasons for doing things and then they have real reason. Derek says he was fed up of Orlaith?s moaning. 12.37pm Derek is in the seating area. Craig and Anthony are in the garden. Makosi is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. Makosi tells Big Brother she?s finding it hard to cope with losing 2 people at the same time. She says Craig has Anthony and Derek has Eugene, she therefore feels alone. She cries and tells Big Brother she no longer feels pretty and has never felt so ugly in her entire life. She says that Derek adores her but she often thinks he?s ?a skanky old man.? 4.49pm Big Brother has set the housemates a task. Each housemate has chosen a part of their body to draw. After 30 minutes they will combine their sketches to form a life-size self-portrait or all the remaining housemates. Each housemate presents their drawing to the group and hangs it on the garden wall. Makosi has drawn her head and explains that her hair ?represents the hair and the colour orange is symbolic of her bubbly character.? Anthony says his shoulders, neck and arms make him look like his been working-out when really he?s been eating Craig?s fatty cooking. Craig has drawn his ?obese stomach and big willy.? Eugene contributes his knobbly knees and Derek adds his thin legs. 6.51pm Derek and Eugene are in the pool. Anthony and Makosi are at the seating area. Eugene and Derek talk about Makosi being upset. Anthony asks Makosi about the secret garden. She tells him about meeting Kinga, Orlaith and Eugene. She originally told the housemates there were 10 people for her to chose from ? it becomes apparent she was lying. Makosi says Orlaith was stronger and that she didn?t like Kinga. Makosi likens Kinga to Lesley and says Craig would have got on with her. 8.44pm Earlier today, the housemates created a life size self portrait made up of various parts of their bodies. The housemates don?t yet know that their reward for passing the task will be a new housemate. Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Makosi, Derek and Eugene are in the kitchen. Craig wonders what Big Brother will give them for completing the drawing task. He predicts they?ll get a new housemate and asks how Anthony would feel. Anthony says a new housemate wouldn?t bother him. Makosi and Derek have a little argument about gay clubs. Makosi says she doesn?t like the gay brand that comes with clubs and bars. Derek says gay people don?t promote themselves in that way but businessmen use it to cash in. Derek refuses to argue about the subject any longer. Makosi says he won?t argue because she?s making more sense that him. Derek suspects she?s under orders from Big Brother to ?kick off? and wont participate. 9.52pm Derek has been waiting to talk to Big Brother for the last 5 minutes. Yesterday Orlaith left the Big Brother house, she will be replaced by 20 year old Kinga from North London. Derek becomes increasingly annoyed when Big Brother won?t open the Diary Room door. Inside the Diary Room, Big Brother tells Kinga she is now a genuine housemate. Big Brother tells her if one person doesn?t nominate her she will be immune from eviction. Derek waits outside the Diary Room and screams when Kinga opens the door. Craig yells, ?who the fuck is that?? and Makosi shouts ?Kinga!? and rushes to tell her how much she loves her. Kinga offers Derek a cigarette and he calls her ?his type of girl.? Eugene seems upset Kinga ignored him but still manages to congratulate her for ?getting in.? Kinga apologises for shocking the housemates. Eugene warns Derek she?s very loud but Derek is thankful she?s not screechy like Makosi. 10.16pm Kinga has been in the Big Brother house for 17 minutes. Derek is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother. Derek talks to Big Brother. ?Poor Kinga, she?s terribly nervous. We need to calm her. She?s shaking like a puppy who?s been shouted at. I?m so excited to have a new housemate I cant tell you! She?s petite? yet large at the same time. I?m terribly excited. I?m going to celebrate you dull bastards.? 11.32pm Big Brother is playing Kinga?s favourite music into the house and all the housemates are dancing. They dance to ?Sex Bomb?. Kinga and Derek dance together and tell each other how much they like each other. Derek says it?s refreshing to have a real person in the house. Kinga asks if he?s referring to Orlaith and confirms that she hates her. 11.51pm Eugene and Derek are in the bedroom making a bed for new housemate Kinga. Makosi, Craig, Kinga and Anthony are in the living room. Eugene says Kinga?s a lovely girl but likes a drink. Derek seems uninterested. Kinga asks Craig his sexuality. Craig refuses to discuss it. He says it?s more important that people watch his growing process and learn from it. Makosi states she?s bi-curious and Kinga says she loves porn because it gives her the best feelings. 12.36am Eugene, Kinga and Derek are in the bedroom. Makosi, Craig and Anthony are in the living room. Kinga and Derek are singing Barbara Striesand. Craig says Kinga may have to evict one person. Makosi advises Craig and Anthony not to suck up to her like Derek and Eugene are. She says she?ll try to behave like she doesn?t know what?s happening in the house but really she?s a fan. Anthony says they should stop talking or they may be punished. Craig says he?ll walk if he?s punished. Craig goes on to say he wants to win for acceptance. Anthony doesn?t believe him and says he should be honest in saying he wants to win because he wants to win and not for other reasons. Craig becomes increasingly emotional that Anthony doesn?t understand his feelings. Craig says he doesn?t know what he?s been through ? everybody always asking if he?s gay. Anthony says he gets that too and it doesn?t bother him. 1.10am Makosi, Craig and Anthony are still in the seating area. Anthony says he?s had a fantastic upbringing and Craig tells him he?s lucky because things have been hard for him. He adds ?do not brand me with your stick.? Kinga comes to the Diary Room and says ?I think my secret mission is going well. I think I have Derek and Eugene under wraps for tomorrow. Derek won?t nominate me. I?m going to sing with him because he likes Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion?I?m trying to stir things up. The other 3 are unsure of me and only Derek won?t nominate me so I?m working on him. I was destined to be in the house and I?m over the moon to be back here, I just wanna live it to the full. I?m crazy, I scream my head off but I can?t do it yet. When Derek goes to sleep I?ll have my fun. I?ll have fun and scream once nominations are over.? 1.47am Eugene and Derek are in the bedroom. Craig Anthony and Makosi are in the pool. Derek and Eugene say good night to each other. In the pool, Kinga suggests a game of truth or dare. Craig snogs Kinga followed by Anthony In the all the excitement Craig wets Makosi?s afro. Craig, Anthony and Kinga laugh at her hair as she gets out the pool and has a shower. The other 3 continue the pool fun.

Day 67: (01/08/2005 - Monday)

The housemates nominate for the last time?but has Kinga passed her secret mission? Eugene is getting to Craig but Anthony thinks he?s harmless Kinga has some after hours fun with Anthony and Craig Day 67 ? Monday 1 August 2005 11.07am Today the housemates will make their final nominations. Yesterday Kinga entered the house. Derek and Eugene are in the bedroom. Anthony, Craig and Kinga are in the seating area. Anthony says to Kinga, ?it?ll be funny for you to nominate today.? They discuss how weird it will be for Kinga to nominate when she?s only just arrived in the house.? Makosi is in the Diary Room. She tells Big Brother, ?my hair is wet and I need a hairdryer to dry it as it?s itching. My hair under my afro is wet.? She continues to tell Big Brother that she cant get her hair dry under the wig. ?I can?t take it off. Yesterday I said I was feeling ugly and if I take it off I?ll feel worse.? Makosi then talks about Kinga and the decision she made when she chose to bring Orlaith and Eugene into the house over Kinga. ?I felt she was too young and to put her in here was cruel.? She continues to tell Big Brother that she would make the same decision again and that Big Brother was cruel to bring her in after she didn?t choose her the last time. She concludes, ?I like her.? 9.23pm Kinga is in the kitchen alone?singing. Anthony and Eugene are playing with football equipment that Big Brother has provided them with. Makosi and Craig are talking in the Living Room. Craig says, ?I can?t handle Eugene anymore. I can?t hack it. He?s so annoying, I can?t cant bear him?I hate him, I hate him so much. He reckons I exaggerate. Do you think he fancies him (Anthony) because he hates me. He belittles me.? Makosi responds, ?to me it sounds like a love triangle, not sexually but I think he likes to be friends with Anthony.? Craig adds, ?I need Saskia. He?s trying to destroy me. I swear it?s getting to me to the point I?m actually getting quite upset. He?s weaker than me..the halfwit simpleton.? 10.43pm Eugene and Derek are in the bedroom talking about the final nominations that took place today and they realise that there will be no more nominations. Eugene says, ?it should be a bright interesting week then. Best of luck to you.? Derek adds, ?best of luck to you too.? Craig and Anthony are arguing about Eugene in the living room. Craig says, ?don?t speak to me like a piece of sh*t. He?s made snidey comments to me and you choose not to stick up for me.? Anthony responds, ?you?re obsessed with it and you keep going on and on. I go to the Diary Room to get away from you because you keep bickering with me. I don?t want to keep doing this. You go over the top about Eugene.? Craig says, ?that?s it. Tonight you just signed a contract. It?s over.? Anthony asks, ?what, you and me being mates? You?re bang out of order Craig. I?m not going to beg someone to be me mate.? 11.52pm Derek and Eugene are asleep. Kinga and Makosi are in the seating area talking about Craig and how they think he?s in love with Anthony. Makosi says, ?he?s not going to admit it because sauying he loves Anthony will hurt Anthony.? Craig and Anthony are in the living room talking about Eugene. Craig says, ?do you think he hates me? He?s trying to destroy me. I?m your friend, I need help. Please help me. ? He then cries. ?I?m nearly dead in this house. I?ve nearly been defeated.? Anthony responds, ?I?m really stressed but I don?t think the bloke?s so bad.? Craig continues, ?you?ll learn. I can?t deal with it anymore in this house. I?m really broken down.? Anthony hugs him and says, ?you?re being a little bit sensitive.? Craig adds, ?they?re all evil. They all want us to leave. I just need you to help me.? Anthony concludes, ?I will be there.? 1.35am Derek, Makosi and Eugene are asleep. It?s been 1 hour and 39 minutes since Craig?s last conversation with Anthony. Anthony, Craig and Kinga are in the pool. Craig hugs Kinga and says, ?she?s like my new little friend.? Kinga goes over to Anthony and snogs him while Craig watches. Anthony tells her, ?you?re off the scale. You?re a really extrovert girl.? Kinga asks, ?extrovert in what way?? Anthony concludes, ?can?t you just chill in the pool?? 2.25am Most of the housemates are asleep. Anthony, Craig and Kinga are in the seating area. Kinga has drunk 3 glasses of white wine over the past 3 hours. She is singing and dancing around the house. She then shouts out, ?Craig, nominations have been and gone.? She seductively crawls around the furniture and over the table to Craig. Anthony walks over and tries to carry her off the table but she just keeps singing out loud around Craig. Craig tells her, ?go away, you?re being naughty now. I can?t take it.? Suddenly Makosi appears from the bedroom having been woken up by the noise. She says, ?Craig, stop it. People are trying to sleep.? She then takes Kinga out side to the living room and tells her to take a seat. She says, ?Kinga, I understand you like having fun but it?s another thing being ungrateful and waking 5 people who are stressed in this house. All I?m asking is for your consideration.? In the seating area Craig tells Anthony, ?the problem with me and Kinga is that we?re 20 years of age. We?re not immature but we?re not mature?you?re 23, I need your guidance inlife.? Meanwhile, Kinga cries in Makosi?s arms.

Day 68: (02/08/2005 - Tuesday)

Derek and Eugene learn that they face eviction this week Kinga is embarrassed and apologises for her behaviour last night Anthony and Craig bicker Day 68 ? Tuesday 2 August 2005 9.44am Craig and Kinga wake up in the same bed. ?My Mum is gonna think I am such a whore. I don?t behave like that when I?m sober.? Says Kinga before hiding under the duvet. Makosi is in the pool and Derek goes outside. They talk about Kinga. ?I said, Sweetie you look like a fool. If you?ve come in here to push me out it?s working because if I can?t sleep I?m fucking walking.? 11.27am Craig and Anthony are in the seating area talking about the argument they had last night. ?This bickering has really affected us.? Says Anthony. Meanwhile, Kinga is in the Diary Room: ?I did something awful yesterday, absolutely terrible with a bottle if wine and I regret it. And I know Makosi is upset with me. I?m so embarrassed, I can?t stop thinking about it. Makosi thinks I?m being childish, I?m not up for conversation today, so if she?s gonna ignore me then I?ll ignore her today.? 11.47am In the kitchen Kinga talks to Eugene. He advises her; ?Just try not to drink so much. That?s the only thing.? ?I want to speak to Makosi, but in private.? She says. ?Yes, it?s hard to have sensible discussions with anyone in here.? He warns her. Derek is in the Diary Room: ?Kinga has only just arrived and unlike those of us in here who?ve been deprived of any sexual pleasures so I don?t understand why someone who was only in the outside world two days ago needs to ?pleasurise herself? on the screens of the nation by using a red wine bottle.? In the garden, Makosi is talking to Craig. ?I didn?t know your sexuality until she (Kinga) came in on Sunday and said you?re gay.? She tells him. ?That?s what?s f**king you up. Just turn around and tell her, I don?t want to talk about my sexuality. Full stop! And I don?t appreciate you walking in here and telling everyone I?m gay.? ?I haven?t actually said,? I don?t give away anything. I?m obviously gonna be portrayed that I fancy him.? He says looking over to Anthony. Makosi advises him to ?be careful.? 11.58am Craig and Anthony are in the garden. Kinga, Eugene and Derek are in the house talking about last night. ?I feel really bad about screaming and everything. It?s not me.? Says Kinga, before going on to tell them. ?I didn?t stick it up me properly, I was just going like that for a laugh. Oh nooo!? They laugh. Kinga then goes over to Makosi; ?I?m so sorry, I feel really embarrassed. Did I say anything upsetting to you?? ?Yes you did, but don?t worry about it baby.? Says Makosi. 1.18pm Makosi and Kinga are in the seating area when Kinga announces; ?I?m gonna do something mad with my face, I?ve decided.? She then goes to the bedroom and draws on her face with make-up. The others are in the garden. Kinga puts her pants on her head and goes out to join them. ?What are you doing? You are mad.? Laughs Craig. ?I?m keeping myself amused.? She tells him. 2.43pm Derek is in bedroom, Makosi is in the living room and the rest are in the garden. ?I don?t regret a single thing on this show.? Craig says to Kinga. ?Because at the end of the day it?s Craig, it?s my personality. I?m not a perfect person. I never preached that, I mean who is? Everyone has different issues. My sexuality is my sexuality. I didn?t come on here to make a grandiose statement to the nation about my sexuality. Craig is defined by his personality, not who he sleeps with.? 3.58pm Eugene is in the pool. Kinga and Anthony are in the kitchen. ?I?m scared about nomination results. I just hope people I like in here are not up for nomination.? She says. Makosi and Craig are in the garden. ?Something feels very wrong in this house at the moment. I can?t put my finger on it.? Says Craig. ?I have never in the past 10 weeks felt so angry with Big Brother. At the end of the day, out of the three people I decided not to bring her (Kinga) into this house and to bring her in at this stage?. I know they are trying to f**k my head up.? Says Makosi. 5.12pm The Housemates are gathered in the living room to hear the results of this week?s nominations. Big Brother announces that Derek and Eugene face the public vote this week. Derek and Eugene then go into the garden leaving Makosi, Craig and Anthony to discuss the result. ?I can?t stop smiling already. Oh my God!? says Makosi. They all then go and jump up and down on the bed. 7.23pm Eugene is in the garden doing press ups. He then goes to the Diary Room: ?I?ll be honest. I was expecting I?d be up?.and Derek. I?m a little bit disappointed, but not surprised. Kinga seemed a bit upset, but to be honest I don?t think the others give two hoots.? 8.51pm Makosi, Anthony and Craig are in the pool. ?Now I?m dangerously horny.? Admits Anthony. ?Have you not shot your load yet?? asks Craig. ?No I can categorically say I have not shot my load in this house.? Anthony replies. Then Makosi interjects; ?When you leave Anthony, I?ve got something to tell you so when you get out you won?t be shocked.? ?I don?t want to hear it.? Says Anthony. ?I want to know, tell him now.? Shouts Craig. But Makosi refuses to talk and Anthony tells Craig to ?stop going on about it.? At which point Craig gets out of the pool in a huff. ?Craig, for God?s sake, get back in the pool.? Anthony calls after him. 9.25pm Most of the housemates are in the garden. In the living room Anthony asks Craig; ?Are you alright?? Craig responds; ?Yeah fine. Of f**k off Anthony!? ?Let?s not have an argument.? Says Anthony. Craig persists with telling him that he?s upset because ?you spoke to me like a piece of shit.? But Anthony does not rise to it and apologises saying; ?Craig I?m sorry, come one, let?s not have tension.? Craig then storms out of the room. 9.55pm Derek goes to the Diary Room: ?I?m fine in myself. I think I?ve been up for eviction more regularly than most people pass wind. What I remember is the public support has kept me in here and I can?t ask them for any more generosity. All I can say is I?ve been enormously touched, but Eugene is a friend of mine. He?s honest, has integrity and conviction, he?s a better man than me so I think he should stay and it would mean more to me if he were to win.? 12.02am Most of the housemates are in the kitchen, apart from Craig and Anthony who are in the living room. Craig brings up their earlier argument. ?I?m not talking about it.? Says Anthony. ?If what I said was out of order I apologise. I can?t believe how much you go on. Day 69: (03/08/2005 - Wednesday)

Rodeo task for the housemates Makosi and Eugene clash over cleaning Derek gives Eugene some words of advice Day 69 ? Wednesday 3 August 2005 11.08am Derek is in the pool, Craig is in the garden practising his lasso task. Anthony, Eugene and Makosi are in the kitchen. Eugene is emptying the big. Makosi tells him to leave it as it needs washing out becomes it?s making the kitchen smell. Anthony watches as they bicker as Eugene tells Makosi it would be best to clean it outdoors. 11.40am Craig is still practising for the task. In the pool, Eugene complains to Derek about clearing up. In the kitchen Craig thanks Makosi for cleaning the bin and tells her he didn?t come into the house to clean. He then tells her Eugene is telling Derek about her cleaning the bin and adds ?What?s that man?s problem?? Makosi fumes ?He?s got issues.? She says she?s going to have it out with him and storms into the garden with Kinga and Craig in tow. She asks Eugene ?Did you have a problem with cleaning the bins? Do not appreciate you slagging me off when I cleaned the bin fro everyone. Don?t go running to Derek. Never speak bad about me behind my back.? Eugene apologises and as she walks off turns to Derek and says ?Careless whispers cost lives.? 11.50am Derek and Eugene are showering. Craig, Makosi and Kinga are in the seating area. Makosi says ?Not gossiping or anything but before nominations, Eugene and Derek would wake up and clean the house but they?ve not done that since Tuesday. No longer after brownie points. ? Kinga says ?Eugene?s got a side to him I didn?t know about. ? Makosi agrees ?Derek adopted him. Like he grabbed hold of you on Saturday night. Now wants you running after him like a Labrador. They use each other.? Big Brothers calls the line dancers, Craig, Makosi and Kinga, to the Diary Room and starts playing the music to which they?ll be dancing, Shania Twain ?Feels Like A Woman.? They all start dancing. In the bedroom, Derek tells Eugene he has to find the strength to cope on his own. Eugene says it?s dreadful that what he was thinking in his mind about Makosi and the bin, got him a b**licking from her. Derek tells him ?number of ways you could have dealt with that, must give you some lessons.? 12.36pm Anthony is in the garden. In the kitchen Eugene apologises to Makosi and she says ?That?s ok Sweetie.? Derek is in the Diary Room, saying it?s likely he?ll go on Friday. If so, ?If evicted, will want to go quite expeditiously? and asks if someone has contacted his housekeeper. He says ?in battings terms had strong innings. Strong characters can polarise viewers. Opposite can be said of Eugene? hope that?s the case. Worried about him if I leave. He needs to toughen up, stand his ground.? Derek then shows his hands to Big Brother and says ?I came in to this house with black hands but they?ve been in so much bleach, detergent they?ve now white on the inside.?hb 3.01pm Anthony is in the garden practising his lassoing task. Kinga, Eugene and Derek are in the seating area talking when Derek says ?That thing up there?s laughing at me. Monkey up there. It?s now doing another funny face. It?s gone now, back through that hole.? A bemused Kinga and Eugene look to where Derek?s look and Kinga asks ?Are your being serious?? Craig and Makosi are in the living room talking about Derek in the Diary Room telling the Great British public that Eugene should win. He?s a nasty bastard? says Craig. Makosi agrees ?Why is it up to him who wins the show.? Craig says ?He?s really spiteful. I?m close to argument with him but not going to. He wants to argue, pull me apart but I?m not going to, I?m better than that.? 3.50pm Eugene and Anthony are sunbathing. Kinga starts singing in the kitchen as Derek looks on horrified but then joins in. The two duet and start hugging and kissing each other. Makosi and Craig are listening and watching in the living area. ?Someone stop that girl? says Makosi. Craig accuses Eugene of watching Anthony all the time and says there?s more reason for for people to think Eugene fancies Anthony than he is. Derek and Kinga are still singing. Craig tells Makosi to shut the door and block the sound out. He goes on again about Eugene watching Anthony. Makosi says ?3 weeks ago would not have pounced on Eugene, thought he was weak, now he?s a sly, tall man working with a sly little man.? 4.36pm Derek is in the bedroom. Eugene is in the pool. Anthony, Makosi and Kinga are in the Living Area as Kinga tells them about Derek seeing a monkey. Craig is in the Diary Room gossiping about Eugene. ?He says things behind people?s backs. Derek and Eugene are the most mature in this house, they should act like it. Derek is confrontational, Eugene is snidey. Whoever goes, I?m not fussed. Not nice people.? Craig then goes on to talk about what he?s learnt in the house ?learn?t a lot about my insecurities, not a confident person. There were personal issues in my life I always run away from. I?ve had to embrace who I am and can face the world. I?m confident about who and what I am. 5.02pm Eugene is shooting in the garden. Kinga and Makosi are watching him and clap as he successfully shoots each of the cans. Makosi says ?He?s sweet, so sweet but even sweet people deserve to be told off.? Anthony and Craig are in the kitchen peeling carrots. Anthony asks Craig ?Do you have mates similar to you, if you know what I saying?? Craig says ?Don?t know, don?t mix in those circles. I?m quite different.? Craig then starts talking about the size of the carrots ?imagine you had a dick that big.? He then says to Makosi what a disappointment it is when a fit bloke has a small willy. Makosi tells him he?s obsessed with talking about willies. When he asks Anthony about his, Anthony snaps ?Stop talking about my f**king dick. I don?t enjoy that crack?. Talking about my willy to other blokes.? 6.26pm For the last 21 minutes, Derek has been in the garden practising his shooting ?Simply can?t do this, don?t know why.? Eugene is in the house asking Makosi if she would swap places with Derek and do the shooting. She agrees depending on what Big Brother says. Eugene goes to the Diary Room but is told that housemates must stick with the task they chose. He relays the information to Makosi who tells Eugene to teach Derek how to shoot. 7.48pm Eugene is teaching Derek how to shoot. In the bedroom, Craig is asking Anthony if he would have sex everyday if he could. Anthony says yes and admits to masturbating every day. Craig is intrigued by this and keeps questioning him. Anthony tells him to ?shut up, you mucky git.? 8.43pm Craig and Anthony are still in the bedroom. Makosi and Kinga are in the pool. Eugene and Derek are in the living area talking about Eugene being bullied should Derek leave the house on Friday. Derek advises ?Don?t let people bring their problems to you. If they do, say excuse me this is my space, your issues are not mine and walk away from it.? He adds that one way to have dealt with Makosi earlier would have been for Eugene to go under the water. He also tells Eugene that it was Craig who had told Makosi, saying ?He?s a useless 20 year old, emotionally all over the place.? Eugene says that when he initially supportive of Craig, ?Error? replies Derek. 10.48pm In the living room, Craig tells Anthony and Makosi how he wants to be part of the last night and for his name to be part of the ?who do you want to win? line. He says he thinks Eugene will go on Friday night ?He?s acting as if he?s campaigning for a general election. Spend hours with your enemies and when defeated absorb their armies. He wants Eugene?s fans.? Makosi agrees.

Day 70: (04/08/2005 - Thursday)

Day 70 ? Thursday 4 August 2005 12.57am Derek is talking to an emotional Eugene in the bedroom. He is frustrated that not everyone is putting the same effort into the task. Derek tells him not to let it get him down. Eugene is also concerned that if Derek leaves the house then he?ll be left to face a week of persecution by the remaining housemates. Derek adds ?They?re so cock-a-hoop. They?re idiots.? Eugene says ?They think I?m a threat. I don?t care, don?t want to win, just don?t want to make a prat of myself. I don?t think I have.? Derek reassures him and tells him he?s a good example of how to behave, with common sense, kindness and honestly. Eugene says ?I haven?t got assertion.? 5.14pm Makosi, Craig and King are performing the Rodeo Task line dancing. Derek tells them it was fun to look at. Anthony?s task is to lasso the bull?s head twice. His first two attempts fail and Craig tells him ?Keep it going Anthony, you?re doing really well.? Anthony manages to lasso the bull?s head once before his time runs out. Eugene and Derek are next with the sharp shooting task, which they successfully complete. 5.39pm The second part of the Rodeo task is for the housemates to ride the Bucking Bronco for a collective 2 minutes or more. Anthony, Craig and Eugene have managed 1 minute 36 seconds between them. Makosi is nearly hysterical as she tries to climb on. Derek tells her ?Just jump on and stop being a woman, come along Tinkerbell.? She is quickly thrown from the Bucking Bronco. Next up is Kinga. Craig pulls as Anthony pushes her onto the machine. Derek tells her there are ?55 million people watching that bottom.? Kinga hangs on for longer than Makosi and says she didn?t do too badly. The housemates are then told they have failed this week?s task. Makosi screams ?This is a joke. You put me in shit again and then you fail me.? The housemates must now live off the ?1 per person per day food budget. 6.47pm Craig and Kinga are singing a classical duet. Derek looks on impressed and asks what it is. They tell him it?s from the film Mrs Doubtfire. In the Diary Room, Makosi is complaining about Kinga. ?Can?t do Kinga anymore. So noisy, so loud and right in your face. How am I suppose to live with that?? Sounds of Kinga and Craig?s singing can be heard in the Diary Room. ?This is not a stadium. Her voice isn?t meant for a small house. I want to cherish my last 8 days. Feel so sorry to break down. I?m trying to do stuff in the kitchen but she goes on and on and on.? 8.19pm Eugene is in the pool. Craig, Anthony and Makosi are in the Living Room talking about Kinga. Craig is worried that Kinga has told him he?ll need a bodyguard when he leaves the house, and that she knows about stuff that has been in the papers. In the bedroom, Kinga is crying to Derek about the housemates not liking her. Derek tells her they?re not nice people and that Makosi has more than 2 faces. Kings says she?s trying to get on with everyone but Derek tells her to have realistic expectations. ?Stick up for yourself, they?ve all very vacuous people.? he adds. 11.23pm Craig and Makosi are at the dining table talking about it being either Derek or Eugene?s last night. In the bedroom, Kinga asks Eugene what type of woman he looks for. He says he doesn?t know but mentions he has a couple of oriental friends. Kinga asks him if he?s ever had a relationship. Eugene says yes but that he found they always wanted to out and spend time with him. He felt he had more important things like his hobbies to do. Kinga asks him if he would happily stay single as long as he had his Radio Club. Anthony joins the conversation and asks Eugene if he is waiting until he is married before having sex. Eugene says yes but that it?s not just about that. An amazed Kinga asks him what he would do if he came out of the house and found a beautiful girl. Eugene tells them it?s not just about shagging.
