Things started so swimmingly between Ben and Rachel but lately their relationship has been strained.

Rachel made it clear that she liked Ben shortly after entering the House and Ben followed suit by saying how much he liked her too.

The pair spent a lot of time being flirtatious towards each other, hugging and sharing initimate chats in the Nest.

The arrival of Laura soon put the cat amongst the pigeons though and Rachel began to feel second best to the 20-year-old blonde. This came to a head when Rachel pulled Ben up on his behaviour in the Bathroom on Day 47.

An infuriated Rachel told Ben that she hates guys that are all over a girl one minute and then flirt with somebody else the next. Ben denied doing this and saw nothing wrong with his behaviour, a response that seemed to enrage Rachel even further.

Since then, things have been frosty between the two and Rachel even nominated Ben this week.

However tonight, with the possibilty of eviction looming over him, Ben came and apologised to Rachel for his behaviour. The bubbly Liverpudlian was more than happy to receive his apologetic embrace and admitted that she had been in the wrong too.
